- Braided crochet scarf. Yarn can be any weight, I used Double knit for the multi coloured scarf with 5mm hook and a thicker yarn for the tutorial with a 6 mm crochet hook. Stitches used (US terms) are Chain and back loop double crochet. This is suitable for a beginner.

I like the multicoloured yarn. I have just bought some but cannot remember how many skein I used before as I also made the hat. This was sent to Canada for my granddaughter.
