Huntington is quite nice but Long Island is extremely expensive to live in, in all aspects. Housing tax, town tax, etc etc. but it’s meant to be more quiet, less crowded.
Considering NYC is one of the safest big cities in the world, who is going to be hit over the head? Low incomes housing is based on the cost of living and area housing cost. So low income does not necessarily mean low income.
Exactly I lived in the ghetto part of Huntington called Huntington Station and in the hood if you weren't grossing 7figures + you had to rent a room or build an illegal in law appt. I was paying $800 a month just to rent a room in a house
Lovely..homeowners are chopped liver. Courts could less about property owners. Drug dealers in your house and not paying rent....you are in a real fix!
