    Nice video, I was not able to comment earlier due to the fact that I got my braces this week and been in a little pain, and this video came out the day I got them. Today, I went to chicago Music Exchange to play some guitars and got the opportunity to play a real 56 and 64 j160. All I can say is that they sound amazing

    Brad Mehldau has an amazing version of this on his Blues and Ballads album. I like the black and white and wardrobe choices, bringing that early Beatles vibe 😊 Sounds great!

    Always amazed me how they just suddenly slow the tempo and raised the key by a half-step on the bridge - and yet it completely works and allows the song to end in a higher register, yielding a final satisfying shift from E to... D?!.

    There is a black and white clip of John Lennon strumming his guitar and making a face to the camera. I’m pretty sure it was this song. (I don’t know if it was a rehearsal or actual recording).

    I’m in awe! I’m so glad you played the correct chords! I’ve played some chords on different positions but this is definitely how it sounds on the album! Do you figure out the chords on your own?

      I knew what the chords were already from playing it for years. But getting the exact shapes right for Lennon was interesting, see my description. I referenced the movie

    The backing track actually had George playing the claves. George's iconic part was overdubbed separately.

      Most sources list ringo on bongos and claves

      @@sampopkin Well then most sources are wrong. haha Ringo couldn't have been playing both at the same time. The claves are on the same track as Paul's live vocals, not with the bongos, bass and guitar. There's an earlier remake session where George tried to play guitar on the basic track but it didn't work out for whatever reason.

    l don't think George is using a plectrum, from the footage it seems he is using the classical thumb picking tecnique, although l could be wrong, the Spanish guitar is OP but the anglican musicians just can't play it right for some reason 😂. This cover is perfect by the way. l think John played a barred A major?

      Yes I think George was much better with his chord vocabulary, like augmented diminished and #9 chords. But Lennon did know a lot of those too
