@@beesknees6970 I just bled off some of the pressure after everything was up to temp. Also, make sure not to hold freon can upside down. Just shake it and hold it upright when squeezing trigger. Hvac friend of mine told me that's a common mistake.
Ken Graham If overcharged put charge can in ice water wait a couple minutes for it to cool, stop engine to increase pressure, open valve coolant, gauge should drop as high pressure migrates to cool low pressure but will start raising again. Shut gauge quickly give time for ice water to cool new hot gas in can, repeat. Start car check pressure if still to high repeat, if too low remove from ice water let warm up and while running add a bit, wait and let that cold refrigerant equalize as comes up to temp of motor refrigerant. This worked for me on a R410a 1 ton air conditioner, I see no reason it won't work for you with a empty or near empty can. This would legally fix your issue as you are not releasing it to environment, and you have refrigerant for future use for that vehicle. If this works for you as well please up-vote to move it up list.
Thanks man. It literally took 5 minutes to fix my wife Stacy after watching your video on her 2006 Jeep Liberty the pressure was fluctuating around 30lbs. Now it's steady at 50lb after relieving the pressure.
I did fix my A/C yesterday, And works much colder than I bought 8 years ago. I never had adequate cold flow to a satisfactory level before. Dumb me not going on RUclips and fix it in 5 minutes. It stopped blowing cold air since last year. I thought maybe the car getting older and that’s what I get! I was wrong . All I had to do was to hook up the pressure gauge. The low showed too high on the red. I released pressure down to blue line and started working again like it’s new. Buying the pressure gauge was all I needed 👌
Thanks mate, I literally was just pulling my hair out over my sons 2001 XTerra, ac compressor turning on and off, hooked up my gauge and it was pegged into the red! Bled it down, compressor stays on now! It's Vegas and 117 this weekend, likely expanded gasses for sure! THANK YOU!
Same issue for me this year in my wife's corolla. Suddenly the AC stopped working.. added refrigerant thinking it must be low. Had a bottle with a digital gauge on it that wasn't working properly. Went and bought much cheaper can with flimsy little plastic gauge.. but aha! THIS gauge was in the red. Found this video, bled off the pressure.. problem solved. Makes sense the savage heat here in LV will cause those gases to expand. Who woulda thought LESS refrigerant in extreme temperatures is a good thing? Lol
You, sir, are a 💎 Diamond! Thank you so VERY much for this help. It not only saved me a trip to the mechanic but was able to save the perfect amount of refrigerant without losing everything. My dilemma was adding a little too much. I am also dealing with an intermittent climate door actuator that I was hoping wasn't it today. Crazy heat this week, windows will not roll down, fixing everything as I go.... this weekend they will be next (I usually do my own work if I can) Thanks to great people like you!! 🎉
I found that exact same hose for $15 bucks. Worked instantly! You just saved me $200 and a summer of riding in sweltering heat. I am icy cold once again. Thank you!
I haven't read all the comments but, I made the mistake of not watching the AC compressor while it was running .....I had the pressure of the low side spiking when the compressor cycled OFF. Professional hvac advice I received was that at 90 degrees the low side pressure could be in and around 55psi. Note that while compressor was running pressure was 39 psi which is near optimal. Watch the gauge reading in relation to compressor on/off state before adding or removing. The pressure of your on cycle should be what to focus on.
Seems how something so simple would work!! I thought for dammed sure by getting "greedy" with the cold, it was going to cost me a lot of money to have it "professionally" done. Now the back story that could help some..... The air was already pretty cool but the PSI was only showing mid 20's and when the compressor kicked in for a few seconds, maybe 45 (which isn't the reading you're looking for). After "filling" (maybe 5 oz's)..... It read 40 and 60.... However, it was only 70 outside. Next time I turned it on, it was less cool so I went to look at it and the Compressor clutch kept cycling and screwing with my RPM.... on top of the seemingly warmer air..... THAT WAS IT..... and I came here.... Thanks for the simple fix my man..... My tip would be, if you don't need a whole lot, don't turn the can upside down when topping off...... Rather put a little in at a time through different heat conditions and don't go for MAX cold, you'll just end up wasting it
You saved my life with this video! I can’t thank you enough! I just swapped out my compressor today. I filled it too much and went into panic mode because it was blowing hot air. I came across your video and followed your steps, now I can see my breath when my AC is on 😂 thank you thank you thank you!!
Sir thank you I just did this to my car after overfilling it. One day before the kid goes back to school you sir saved me a very hot time. My family thanks you!!!!
Your are THE MAN! THANK YOU FOR THE INFORMATION! I used stp a/c pro can on a maxima I could hear the compressors shut off and on after I filled it. It's a 20 oz can the unit calls for 5.2 oz of freon I had overfill even tho the gauge wasn't marked in the red was in the 50 psi range I took your advice and bleed the system under 40 and it's back to normal and air is blowing so cold now btw I live in Las Vegas!! THANK YOU SIR YOU ARE A LIFESAVER!!!!!!!
Most cars need only a couple of ounces to "top off" the refrigerant. But since they sell huge canisters, most people (including me) overfill their systems. I'm glad you fixed it yourself!
Just had the same thing happen to me today, AC wasn’t as cold, ended up putting too much, now i after watching this i bled it out like he says and it’s working great!
It static pressure video was a life saver. Since I didn't need to buy the high pressure and low pressure gauges . Thanks dude. Straight up to the point explanation.
If it's a bottle Gage and the bottle is empty you can slowly unscre the bottle and while wearing gloves and the bottom where the bottle goes pointing it away from you with the engine/compressor running, let some of the gas off. Don't let too much out at a time. When you hear your compressor kick back on the Gage will indicate the pressure in the system.
I’ve had this problem with a Corolla 2010 type S I just bought for 7k thank god the dealership hooked me up with the fix for free thanks to god 😂🙏🏻 Nice video tho
Bro. You just saved me lots of $ and worry. I overcharged my AC and the symptoms are exactly like you described. Now my car is all good. Gosh, thanks heaps man. You have a good new year !!!!
Bro you are the man!!!!!! I put too much freon on mine so that cause the compressor to not start working i bought an ac/pro with the trigger disppenser and let the pressure relief after get it at the right pressure voila All thanks to you
Thank you so much for this information. I followed exactly what you did and I was able to bring the pressure down to exactly where it needed to be. My system was overcharged and I was noticing the A/C Compressor kept engaging and disengaging. Thank you again.
Thank you. 2004 sienna had too low such that compressor would not kick on so I jumped the wires to get it going. Slowely filled, for about 2 minutes it blew cold but I think it overfilled (now that I see your video) so I'll need to back it out a bit. Havent done it yet. Will tackle tomorrow.
Having this issue right now. Debating on whether not I want to attempt bleeding off pressure or just taking it to a shop. I normally work on vehicles myself, but this is a little above my "pay grade". I haven't ever worked on pressurized systems before....
I was so scared because I thought I ruined my daughters car. I overfilled the freon and started hearing the clicking noise. Used your steps and now it's working like new.👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
this video saved me so much money. I added too much freon and it was blowing hot air. Went back and released some pressure and now it's cold as ice. For a moment I thought I needed a new a/c compressor.
so you use the same hose and gage that came with the refrigerant can? do you just unscrew the refrigerant can off the hose and then hook the hose up to the low pressure line?
You are the man!!!!!!! Straight life saver. I thought I had to spend a butt load of money to fix my issue, but you saved the day..........a million thanks bro
I plugged the gauge in and reading was high. So I thought I cant recharge unless I like empty it. Turns out I needed compressor to be on. Do it again, and its low. Job done in 5 minutes. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the video! This is probably the worst thing I could have done to fix my overcharging problem, but it definitely saved me time and $. Wore a gas mask & nitrile gloves. Sprayed into a ziplock bag, covered with a shop towel, because this stuff leaks too.
Just a warning for others, refrigerant boils quickly at regular outdoor temperatures when not heavily pressurized. If you seal the ziplock with liquid refrigerant in it, it will pressurize and rupture or burst, probably within a minute!
Thank you!! It's been so long since I've done my A/C and was like, man, something ain't right! You comment helped me out a lot. A/C throwin' snowballs ☃️
Should it still cycle IN the "green zone" when its on, like 20psi or so? Also, if its "overfull" would this cause the compressor to run continuously when ac/defrost is on?
Thank you. Worked like a charm. My car A/C reacted exactly like yours did. Pressure was too high and compressor wouldn't run for more than a second. Let some R134 out and it started to run, then the pressure built back up and it stopped, so I let some out until it runs as it should.
I took mine from underfilled to overfilled a couple of days ago. Now I know how to fix it. Worst case, if I end up in the shop they're not gonna know I've been tempering with it 😄 Thanks!
I used a/c pro to recharge my system in my 2009 Lincoln MKS. I did it once a few years ago and it was perfect. Cold air, no issues. The AC started to blow warm again in June 2022, so I figured I'd recharge it again. This time, not so good. While charging, I noticed my engine stuttered and the a/c pro gauge jumped back and forth. When I got into the car, the air was warmer than before. Thinking it just might need some time to recycle, I drove home. The AC never got cool, the engine was rough, and the RPM gauge in my car jumped wildly. I ran the ac when I got home for about 25 minutes, and nothing changed. Now I think I have an issue and will need to go to the dealer (likely $200-$300 to check, evacuate, and recharge). Before I made that call, I thought I'd check once again on how I might fix this, and saw this video. I watched it a few times thinking it couldn't be this easy. I read a hundred or so comments. Many thanks and good results, so I thought I'd try before making the dealer appointment. I put on my gloves, grabbed a towel, and before I turned the car on, I attached the A/C Pro gauge without a can and pulled the trigger. IT WORKED! It only took a few short squeezes. I started the car, turned the AC to full blast, AND IT WAS COOL!. I went back to the gauge to check the reading while the AC and Car were on, and made a few more short squeezes until the gauge got into the green and settled in the green at 25. Removed the cord/unplugged, recapped the low-pressure input, closed the hood, and enjoyed cool air inside the car for 25 minutes. I turned the car off, waited a few minutes, restarted, and turned on the AC. It still worked. The whole thing took under 10 minutes. I'm so happy. Saved me $200-$300, and a day at the repair shop. I know you're not supposed to release the contents of the system into the air, but it was so little I don't feel bad at all. Thank you @Yourself for this most helpful video.
Thanks, man stupid me over pressurized the A/C as well. Worked fine last night and this morning nice cold air. Driving home from work today at 5 90 something degree weather and was sweating balls. Released some of that pressure and thank God!
Thank you so much dude! You saved my 2017 Nissan Frontier’s AC’s life! I thought I completely fucked my air conditioner because I over filled it but thanks to you I let some pressure out and it works like new again! You saved my ass bro thanks again!
Wow. thank you so much I must have used an old can which refilled the levep but then it must have gotten air in there. So once I drained it untill it stop fluctuating bam AC is ice cold. Thank you so much you saved me hundreds of dollars.
You’ve saved another one, I had the exact same problem, thought I under-filled according to the gauge but it looks like I just overfilled. Much love man.
it worked for my Silverado 2011 that was constantly running high for the cooling fans, high noise when they are at high speed constantly, and I read is a symptom for overcharged, and this fan high speed happened after last gas fill I did. due to leaks fixed with 3X sealant can. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much. I was really worried and thought about the money and trouble taking it back to my mechanic but I followed it exactly and the excess pressure was removed and ac is back cold again!!!!
I accidentally over filled my system in exact same way...I was like oh crap!!...but thanks to this video, I went from oh crap to just an ooopsie! Thank you!
Thanks this video helped out. In my case, I had too much Freon and had to release the pressure. It sure sounds like either you have too much pressure or too little pressure and the compressor therefore turn on and off. If you just recharged it I would imagine that your pressure is too high. And if you haven't recharged it, it probably means your freon is running low. At least that's my opinion.
i just put a can in yesterday, it does get cold now but it does go from cold to not very cold, back and forth. then today i checked with the same gauge the video has and it keeps going from the bottom of the green to the top of the yellow. and i hear the click everytime it goes up or down. is this the same problem?
This really saved me a LOT. Worked perfectly. I used a plastic bag and just threw the end that would be expelling the gas to keep it more contained instead of possibly getting in my eyes!
That's the high pressure switch making it cycle the compressor. While your letting out that freon if it's being sucked into your cars engine is being turned into fosgine gas. That will kill you.
Thank you so much my friend you were dead on and save me lots of money from replacing things that work, at night it says on and works perfect and during daytime heat it cuts in and out so I bleed the line and watched the gauge leave from red to blue and ac stayed on and now works all the time; great hypothesis sir
edited....sorry, i was FIXING MY A/C outside and commented too quickly/too vaguely. the gauge should be fluctuating a little as the clutch engages. It should be in the blue (on this gauge) all the time when the car is running a little above idle with a/c on. Running at 15 when the clutch is engaged is too low. it says so right on the gauge. If you hook up the gauge and it is high and the a/c compressor is cycling on and off quickly, you don't have enough freon. As you add freon, the pressure should go down, and you should hear the compressor running longer and longer. My compressor is loud. Your's might be quiet...you'll know it's kicking on/off because it will click and bring the engine idle down when engaged/running, then click and idle will go back up. If the compressor is not turning on, several things could be wrong like a relay, nearly no freon, bad clutch, etc. If you add a can of freon and the pressure does not go down or compressor cycle, something is wrong. One of my cars is 15yrs old. I have to add a can every year. You know you must add it if the a/c works when it's cool outside, but doesn't work when it is hot (above 80?). With the a/c on max, the clutch was cycling/engaging for about 2 sec, then off for about 5 over and over, and the air coming out of the vents was warm.
Thanks for the video. My AC was working in the morning and late evening but right at 3PM when it's super hot the AC was just blowing hot air just like your issue. I could hear the compressor kick in and out so I know there's Freon in the system and system is working. I release some pressure out a few times and now my AC is cold once again. Previous owner probably did some work on the system and either overcharge it or not enough Freon. Thanks!
thanks for the help! Mine was saying it was at 55psi, revved the engine and then it suddenly was off the charts. Let out pressure back down to 50 viola, back to 75f instead of 100+.
Bro thanks a lot, I overcharge the ac today, it was blowing str8 heat after watching your video I released some pressure out of there ac works just fine.
FINALLY! I thought it was the relay plug, it wouldn’t quit stopping and starting. Endless cycle. I just found out it i put too much pressure in, and it showed on the gauge there was too much pressure once the car had been running for a while. Let your car run with the gauge connected, and once the car has say for about 5ish minutes you’ll tell if there is too much pressure.
Awesome vid.... I filled my car ac and I put way too much. AC didn’t even kick on because there was too much refrigerant. I used the artic freeze trigger and just triggered away the excess gas and now it’s working fine. My trigger gauge colors are different where green is good and white is low. Thanks
so you use the same hose and gage that came with the refrigerant can? do you just unscrew the refrigerant can off the hose and then hook the hose up to the low pressure line?

This is a great video. Just a Heads Up, Doing this is illegal in most states and is bad for the environment. Still a great video. Thank You for sharing...
I drove myself nuts with this today. Make sure the air conditioning is on high speed, Max cold and that the fan is set to high..... If the compressor is NOT running, or has temporarily cycled off, you may get an overcharged Red Zone reading..... if the air conditioner compressor is cycling on and off and clicking, the only correct reading will be when the air conditioning compressor is on. When it clicks or cycles off, it may jump to overcharged, even if you have close to the correct amount of refrigerant in the system. In summary, the ONLY correct reading will be when the air conditioning system is on and the compressor is actually running and not temporarily cycled off!! When the compressor stops cycling on and off, you will get a more accurate reading and can fine-tune the adjustment, by either adding or removing refrigerant.
Thank you! Have the same problem. Going to see if I can recharge an old can as I release the pressure. Somebody else pointed out the pressure reading drops when the compressor is running and that’s the reading to use. I’ll look the that difference as well.
Haha i was just thinking as i was releasing pressure form my ac “ i bet I will be taking this in to someone like tomorrow haha, I have literally no idea what I am doing just let a bunch of pressure out , it is cycling again now so I suppose that is good, before it would stop cycling and the ac would go warm. But I would guess there is a particular pressure that is supposed to exist and I am probably messing something expensive up right now!!

If overcharged put charge can in ice water wait a couple minutes for it to cool, stop engine to increase pressure, open valve coolant, gauge should drop as high pressure migrates to cool low pressure but will start raising again. If this works for you as well please up-vote to move it up list.
too confusing, too many steps 😐
Wow man, thank you for the quick to the point video that saved me from burning up in 100+ weather. I can’t thank you enough
Thanks for watching!
Thanks man. It literally took 5 minutes to fix my wife Stacy after watching your video on her 2006 Jeep Liberty the pressure was fluctuating around 30lbs. Now it's steady at 50lb after relieving the pressure.
Thanks for watching!
Wish my husband will do these kind fixings for me😬I am the handy woman in the house 😂
Super easy and my Freon is back in the green zone. Thanks for posting this.
Great to hear!
THANK YOU!
Wow 117... that's hot... thanks for watching.
Chad C same issue same city LOL
Same issue for me this year in my wife's corolla. Suddenly the AC stopped working.. added refrigerant thinking it must be low. Had a bottle with a digital gauge on it that wasn't working properly. Went and bought much cheaper can with flimsy little plastic gauge.. but aha! THIS gauge was in the red. Found this video, bled off the pressure.. problem solved. Makes sense the savage heat here in LV will cause those gases to expand. Who woulda thought LESS refrigerant in extreme temperatures is a good thing? Lol
Did you overcharged before?
I did exactly wat you said an now my ac is working like it was Befor i over charge it.Thanks for sharing your knowledge!!!
Glad it helped.
Thanks for sharing
I found that exact same hose for $15 bucks. Worked instantly! You just saved me $200 and a summer of riding in sweltering heat. I am icy cold once again. Thank you!
glad it worked for you!
Accidentally overcharged my ac n this video help me alot thanks
Thanks for watching!
Glad it helped!
Sir thank you I just did this to my car after overfilling it. One day before the kid goes back to school you sir saved me a very hot time. My family thanks you!!!!
Glad it helped
@@Your-Self THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! YOU'RE THE BEST

I hope you are a rich man. Because you deserve it off this video alone. Thank you so much
Wow thanks man !!! Car was doing same as yours plus mine was blowing heat instead of cold air now it's working 100%
Nice to hear great news, thanks for watching.
prey
Just had the same thing happen to me today, AC wasn’t as cold, ended up putting too much, now i after watching this i bled it out like he says and it’s working great!
It static pressure video was a life saver. Since I didn't need to buy the high pressure and low pressure gauges . Thanks dude. Straight up to the point explanation.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching!
Bro. You just saved me lots of $ and worry. I overcharged my AC and the symptoms are exactly like you described. Now my car is all good. Gosh, thanks heaps man. You have a good new year !!!!
Glad it helped, and happy new year!
Bro you are the man!!!!!! I put too much freon on mine so that cause the compressor to not start working i bought an ac/pro with the trigger disppenser and let the pressure relief after get it at the right pressure voila
All thanks to you
Thank you so much for this information. I followed exactly what you did and I was able to bring the pressure down to exactly where it needed to be. My system was overcharged and I was noticing the A/C Compressor kept engaging and disengaging.
Thank you again.
Glad it helped, and thanks for watching!
Good luck!
Used your steps and now it's working like new.👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Glad it helped, and thanks for watching!
Short, simple, and quick to the point. This helped out a lot! Thanks 🙏
Glad it helped!
Ok
this video saved me so much money. I added too much freon and it was blowing hot air. Went back and released some pressure and now it's cold as ice. For a moment I thought I needed a new a/c compressor.
Good to hear it, and thanks for watching!
so you use the same hose and gage that came with the refrigerant can? do you just unscrew the refrigerant can off the hose and then hook the hose up to the low pressure line?
You are the man!!!!!!! Straight life saver. I thought I had to spend a butt load of money to fix my issue, but you saved the day..........a million thanks bro
Good to hear it, and thanks for watching!
I plugged the gauge in and reading was high. So I thought I cant recharge unless I like empty it. Turns out I needed compressor to be on. Do it again, and its low. Job done in 5 minutes. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video! This is probably the worst thing I could have done to fix my overcharging problem, but it definitely saved me time and $. Wore a gas mask & nitrile gloves. Sprayed into a ziplock bag, covered with a shop towel, because this stuff leaks too.
Sessseee
Just a warning for others, refrigerant boils quickly at regular outdoor temperatures when not heavily pressurized. If you seal the ziplock with liquid refrigerant in it, it will pressurize and rupture or burst, probably within a minute!
Ziplocks don't seal. Water gets in easily, as does air or any other gas. Out, too.
Thank you.... saved over $500 repair for something so simple.... just have to always tell myself, "KISS it"
Thanks for watching!
It’s supposed to be high when the compressor isn’t running. When the clutch kicks in and the pressure falls, that’s when it should be measured.
Thank you!! It's been so long since I've done my A/C and was like, man, something ain't right! You comment helped me out a lot. A/C throwin' snowballs ☃️
Thanks for your comment ! Helped a lot !
Thank you so much for commenting, thats exactly what I needed to know. For some reason that information is not in the instructions for refills.
Thanks for the information.
Should it still cycle IN the "green zone" when its on, like 20psi or so? Also, if its "overfull" would this cause the compressor to run continuously when ac/defrost is on?
I over charger and this video helped me fix my issue, much appreciated brother
Glad it helped!
Thank you. Worked like a charm. My car A/C reacted exactly like yours did. Pressure was too high and compressor wouldn't run for more than a second. Let some R134 out and it started to run, then the pressure built back up and it stopped, so I let some out until it runs as it should.
Great job, and thanks for watching!
Did you add ac? Or just one day was high?
Thanks I was a tiny bit over. Your vidoe helped. When you get close to 45 psi it doesn't take much for it to shoot up past that.
"I'm not a pro, found the gauge in my pile of junk" ahahaha! 😂
I took mine from underfilled to overfilled a couple of days ago. Now I know how to fix it. Worst case, if I end up in the shop they're not gonna know I've been tempering with it 😄 Thanks!
Good luck!
😂
Got an update?
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, man stupid me over pressurized the A/C as well. Worked fine last night and this morning nice cold air. Driving home from work today at 5 90 something degree weather and was sweating balls. Released some of that pressure and thank God!
Glad it helped
Thank you so much dude! You saved my 2017 Nissan Frontier’s AC’s life! I thought I completely fucked my air conditioner because I over filled it but thanks to you I let some pressure out and it works like new again! You saved my ass bro thanks again!
Glad it helped!
I have an 18 frontier. What psi on low side is working good for you? I don't trust the color system
Thanks man.. good info!! Taking car in for warranty work and had overfilled Freon.. easy denial for them. Worked perfect 👍👍
Great to hear!
Wow. thank you so much I must have used an old can which refilled the levep but then it must have gotten air in there. So once I drained it untill it stop fluctuating bam AC is ice cold. Thank you so much you saved me hundreds of dollars.
Glad it worked out for you well, thanks for watching.
you helped me a lot, I relieved the pressure and left it between 40 and 50 psi and the car cooled normally again
Good to hear!
You’ve saved another one, I had the exact same problem, thought I under-filled according to the gauge but it looks like I just overfilled. Much love man.
Good to hear it!
it worked for my Silverado 2011 that was constantly running high for the cooling fans, high noise when they are at high speed constantly, and I read is a symptom for overcharged, and this fan high speed happened after last gas fill I did. due to leaks fixed with 3X sealant can. Thank you very much.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much. I was really worried and thought about the money and trouble taking it back to my mechanic but I followed it exactly and the excess pressure was removed and ac is back cold again!!!!
Thanks for watching!
I accidentally over filled my system in exact same way...I was like oh crap!!...but thanks to this video, I went from oh crap to just an ooopsie! Thank you!
Glad it helped!
Well said Randall Quezada!
i just put a can in yesterday, it does get cold now but it does go from cold to not very cold, back and forth. then today i checked with the same gauge the video has and it keeps going from the bottom of the green to the top of the yellow. and i hear the click everytime it goes up or down. is this the same problem?
This really saved me a LOT. Worked perfectly. I used a plastic bag and just threw the end that would be expelling the gas to keep it more contained instead of possibly getting in my eyes!
Good to hear it, and thanks for watching!
Thank you so much . I thought I just blew my compressor after misjudged recharge . I removed some refrigerant and now the ac is back on track . 😊
Yep, they sell huge canisters with refrigerant, while most people need only a couple of ounces to top-off the system. I'm glad you fixed it yourself!
That's the high pressure switch making it cycle the compressor. While your letting out that freon if it's being sucked into your cars engine is being turned into fosgine gas. That will kill you.
@@AltonRowell-gb1lb r12 does, yes. r134a is pictured.
Wow. Add me to the list of people that this vid saved. Took me 5 minutes and all good again.

@@Your-Self think of all the money you saved people. Crazy.
Thank you so much my friend you were dead on and save me lots of money from replacing things that work, at night it says on and works perfect and during daytime heat it cuts in and out so I bleed the line and watched the gauge leave from red to blue and ac stayed on and now works all the time; great hypothesis sir
Glad you found it helpful, and thanks for watching.
Bruh you’re more helpful than any mechanic I have been earned a sub
Glad it helped!
Thank you very much. Just had this problem and thought the worst. Was a pretty quick fix overall. You are doing great work
Glad it helped, and thanks for watching!
OMG, YES HELPFUL AND IN MY SIMPLE ALTHOUGH VERY EDUCATED MIND I UNDERSTOOD WHAT AND WHY YOU WERE DOING WHAT YOU DID! OMG, 5 Stars for your HELP!
edited....sorry, i was FIXING MY A/C outside and commented too quickly/too vaguely. the gauge should be fluctuating a little as the clutch engages.
I tried it and so far it seems to have fixed my issue. Thank you!!!
Great to hear!
Thank you, sir! You saved me from buying a new compressor.
I'm glad to hear it, and thanks for watching.
R134a is ozone friendly
This video was a life saver I refilled my car and it stopped blowing cold air I was devastated I guess it’s true don’t fix what’s not broken 😜
Thanks for the tip ! I overcharged mine and this worked perfectly
Great to hear that it worked for you! And thanks for watching.
Now I see why our ozone is being damaged. This is nonsense letting out harmful cfc hcfc.
Ignorance is killing us.
Bobby u all most slugged the compressor. Compressor won't compress liquid. Be careful dude.
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing!
thanks for the help! Mine was saying it was at 55psi, revved the engine and then it suddenly was off the charts. Let out pressure back down to 50 viola, back to 75f instead of 100+.
Awesome! Thanks for watching.
Bro thanks a lot, I overcharge the ac today, it was blowing str8 heat after watching your video I released some pressure out of there ac works just fine.
Glad it helped
@@Your-Self mind you I’m at work right now lol I did all that at work
Could be a faulty high pressure switch...
You rock! Thanks so much for saving me a trip to the mechanic shop!
You bet!
Thanks
Excellent! Thanks for watching.
so you use the same hose and gage that came with the refrigerant can? do you just unscrew the refrigerant can off the hose and then hook the hose up to the low pressure line?

Yous a dickhead bro
Thank you sir. This will always keep me employed 😁
Really. Can u believe these ignorant people.
Dude you are amazing your video help me to evacuate the AC gas and regulate it. I save a lot of money!
Great to hear!
Those are typical symptoms of someone not pulling a vacuum before initial service what the refrigerant. If you have the same situation you're never going to save it need to evacuate the system pull a vacuum then service it then it will work above 85 and 95 degrees like it's supposed to.
Thanks to this amigo ….I got my sons car a/c fix
Fantastic!
that's very cool. I'm always afraid to work with stuff like this. awesome video
