I just finished watching this video and I tried this very thing on my 2007 Ford expedition and all I needed to do was pull the trigger three times and now this baby blows colder than cold. Thank you very much!
Thank you! For this video, my 2001 Dodge is in the red so I’m going to try this very thing. Everything has gone up so much hopefully this will work for my truck! Thanks again
1:53 So what does it mean if you release all the pressure? And it goes to the white, but then when you try to put the free on in it jumps back up to the red. Please help. I just moved to a new city and i'm a single mom.And we are burning up down here in florida
I Just wasted a can came inside your video popped up and everything you said works i got it out the red and now in the middle of green, Im going to get it down to Low and add a can fingers crossed but i think its going to work i was feeling a difference when it got out of yellow...Salute to you bruh its 113 in Vegas
Hey when I connect the pressure gauge to the low cap it does not show any thing, just stays at zero. I even had the car running and the ac full blast. Thank you.
Hold the Schrader valve down with rags around it to release pressure faster. Alot of the gauges are not right. But for a can you can do that. After releasing pressure pull trigger on hose to zero out n reconnect. Try adding some n see where needle is at, if red still. May have other issues. 1 with 0 pressure on system and still reads in red, try releasing any air, use vacuum pump, cheap harbor freight one. Nice video tho
Well, I released the pressure in my system because it also showed in the red. The temperature of the air coming out on the hwy only got down to 57 degrees. I got it out of the red and into the green but the air coming out is now like 105 degrees do I need to get it into the white empty then fill it back up?
True this will get your a/c system right and working if you have overfilled it, but IT IS NOT LEGAL TO VENT THE REFRIGERANT OUT INTO THE AIR IT MUST BE COLLECTED AND DISPOSED OF PROPERLY. But many auto places are willing to do this for you for free since they can keep and reuse that refrigerant.
It's also not legal to pollute the skies 24/7/365 with aerosol toxins from chemtrails/fake clouds/atmosphers everyday; but the mad mad controllers do so to kill us off. A litte freon aint nothing compared to the crap raining down on us everyday and everynight. You MUST be a troll or just stupid.
My AC was working but my DA decided that I’d put “extra” in to make it colder… well after the air was hot… I hooked up the hose and it in the red…. So once I hook up the hose to release the pressure do I gotta empty the line completely or just to the green? Thanks
@@ronniebillington8951 I tried doing same thing but freon wasn't coming out the hose only air. And every time it got down to low end of green everytime the clutch kicked on it would jump to yellow or red. But i could hold that trigger down for quite awhile and nothing but air comes out.
@@Theezmoney the red can also mean low coolant. I don’t know if you have to have the car running to release pressure . But I released the pressure to the low green end and added a can of refrigerant til it was normal. It’s Been working.
@@jojobuschek i did the same thing even got down lower and i was able to put in two cans but still no difference. I'm gonna let a shop vacuum everything out to make sure there's not a bunch of air pressure or moisture. And i also suspect i have a clogged condensor.
Yes. It's natural for the system to gradually climb. This is called static pressure. There is a method in which you can use the static pressure and the outside temperature to know whether the system is full or if it's not charging by the compressor. There are videos on RUclips
So I did this and now my ac just blows hot air instead of cool air. Being in the red doesn’t necessarily mean too much refrigerant. If you know it’s been overfilled than ya, let a little out, but there are other reasons it might be in the red apparently
Took some out until compressor shut added. Now I'm good back down to 50 48 not messing with it anymore. I think should be lower 40s but I'm good with what I have now better than 90 91
Thank you, thank you, thank you, just went and tried this on my 2007 Toyota Camry and it worked, didn't have to recharge, just as you demonstrated. Air is back working
So mine was in the red. I took it down to the green but stiil wasnt cooling. Do i need to realise the pressure until freon instead of air is coming out and then top back off with freon?
This is awesome my dude! I thought I was shit out of luck when i bought the can and the gage was in the red. Now I'm guessing you ran it to "low" and fill it back up with coolant? Right?
Mine was in the red too, I drained it (wondered why in the red though) and nothing changed, it almost acts like it now needs Freon even though the gauge says it does not. Tried to add more but nothing. Compressor?

I did this and it completely solved my problem! Thanks!
Did you have to drain ALL the air out, and REFILL w refrigerant, or did it start blowing cold once the needle was in the GREEN area?
I just drained it till the Guage was in green

If it's in the red means overcharged or underchaged. Temperature in your car should match the gage ti determine

Press in on the big one to see if air comes out or fluid and keep refilling on the small side. I just had same problem and it worked for me.
You might need a compressor but this is what you try first before resorting to that
Good idea. Basically removing the excess air and adding Freon. Makes sense.
I got it down then added a lil shot right back up so let it out wome till it hit green but still no cold air
You have to listen to see if you hear the compressor cut on. If you don’t hear it you might need a compressor
