I have Paul's latest CD and I think I've played this tune about 100 times and it's been a refreshing and enjoyable experience each and every time. Mulgrew Miller is as inspiring as ever and I'd like to send a special thanks to Paul for his great work with developing and mentoring young jazz artists in the MD, DC and VA area.

Why was the theme edited lol? It's, in my opinion, one of the most beautifully composed jazz themes, I think jazz listeners and musicians sometimes care too much about improvisation and forget the composer! Thanks for sharing, anyway, both great soloists. I saw the pianist a couple of weeks ago in Brasília, Brazil with Ron Carter.

I and the entire Bishop McNamara High School Jazz Ensemble just played with Mr. Carr. He is such an amazing player and his improv skills are fantastic! If you are reading this Mr. Carr, thank you very much for a wonderful performance and good luck with all of your other performances!

Agree, why edit? You asked for a comment. I like a lot of what you put up, but then there's stuff like this and those Miller interviews, also edited. Strange that you presented these in your request for support. Anyway I was already a subscriber. I love the music too

@luizcadu I agree that the composer is often forgotten, something I'm sure everybody is guilty of, but a fire is a lot more beautiful than a bunch of sticks. But with the right spark of inspiration, it consumes us.
