Visiting an ABANDONED Theme Park...

- Scare City Experience has OVERRUN the old abandoned Camelot Theme Park... i've been invited out to check out the event and see the abandoned park for myself! I try my best to showcase the park and the rides that used to be there, the shops, the games areas and even the massive fortress castle! I try and tour you round all of this... all whilst being scared !#%&less. Enjoy!

Oh Camelot.. Damn I miss this park so much. Thanks Dan, for making a video about it, we need to keep Camelot's memory alive. It was such a treasured theme park and had so much uniqueness to it. Probably one of the first ever theme parks I visited as a kid, such good memories. Shame they demolished Knightmare, wish I had ridden this coaster as a kid, was too scared at the time. 🤣
It's like when a bunch of youtubers invaded the set of Splatalot. Coincidentally, they both are castles
I remember going here the year it closed. We stayed in the big hotel next door for a few nights. I remember going on the old ghost train and my sister crying after. Knightmare was and still is an extremely cool ride, despite it being essentially dead. Amazing vid as usual.

There was a reason why this park closed, at the park there was (pinfari looper ik it sucks) this coaster called the gauntlet and apparently the ride was due for maintenance but the mechanic was on the track and didn’t see the coaster coming and it hit him and well the mechanic died
way more reasons than that, the park owner wasen't the best at times

I remember coming here as a kid, dont remember nuch of this experience but i have this fond memory of driving a fske car somewhere and getting a little certificate at the end which said i could drive, I couldnt remember where it was but then you showed me the entrance... ahhh, fond memories man.

I went here on a primary school trip and remember The Beast (rollercoaster in the dark) and I think it was the first rollercoaster I absolutely loved. I wasn’t brave enough for ‘the upside down one’ though!

To be honest it's kind of sad that you're not allowed to explore abondoned things in some countries. I was camping in Croatia this summer, and I went and explored an abondoned fortress from some war, and it was one of the coolest experiences in my life because you could recogonize stuff. (Like a massive turret and gun holes) I can understand why it's not allowed in some countries, because it's really not safe. Not only that it could collapse, but there are stairs that lead to a great fall, meaning if you went to check where a stair goes and tripped you might fall to your death. There was also a massive room full of water which if you fell in there, you would't get out. There were also random holes in the floor leading to a great fall. And also, we were walking on the roof which I think that you can understand why that's not safe. (It includes a great fall)
I can’t see the name of Charnock Richard without thinking of the “Buy a bike” ads from the 90s (I know this is relevant or about 4 people).

@@CoasterStuff1 I am not sure, I guess we are both just some coaster enthusiasts that are destined to see each other everywhere.
As someone who works on a fair, i can appreciate how level that ground probably is, although if i got told "camelot next week" when were building up this week, I wouldnt wanna work it... all that springs to mind is winter maintenance!

It was my favourite theme park as a kid
I live about 40 minutes from Camelot and visite here so many times as a kid on school trips, it's so sad that I never got to pass to legacy on to my kids and that it is just sitting there rotting :(

Just to let u know it was a petril driven coaster it was diesel coaster that was 1 of a kind and it was sold to southport were its just apparently just sitting there not in use.
