When I set the crank sensor wheel is is going to rub against the timing chains Is there a spacer needed between the crank sprocket and crank sensor wheel?
Degreeing a cam for a stock motor is not really necessary. When aftermarket parts are added with tighter tolerances, then it becomes a bigger deal to insure that assembly is correct and to get optimal power from the motor.
I really appreciate you making this video currently building one that's been sitting in a box for 4 years and this is a huge help
Super informative video! Great job!!
Great video my friend, perty sure all gearheads will appreciate it , but notice you rotated it counterclockwise --? ,
Great video, thanks so much. I've never done timing on this engine so I was pretty intimated but it's actually quite easy

I bc wonder if these apply to the 5.4 Dohc like the Shelby
Where did you get the timing kit from, if you ordered them individually where from?
Rotating counter clockwise? Isn't that opposite of engine operation (clockwise looking at front of engine)?
What’s your opinion on degree timing is it necessary or will the engine operate just as fine without it .

I have this engine in my 05 aviator
Are the cam bolts tty? So I can reuse them
Yes tty unless you get the ARP bolts
Slightly a different color? Umm. Black and gold are on different sides of the spectrum lol

Why does he keep making that stupid clicking/sucking sound prior to speaking?
