- Hi, this is from the series where I rate every studio albums (and sometimes EPs from Metal bands). Today I'm remaking a video about Megadeth, with different opinions and a slighty better edit.

*So Far, So Good… So What! Its from 1988
Yeah, my mistake

I see what you did there lol.
Definetly their most underappreciated song is My Last Words from Peace Sells. Near perfect solo, incredible bass hooks. Just such a good song, and great song to finish off the album.
10/10 song
I completely agree. Amazing outro song, all things considered. One of MegaDave's best solos of all time.
One of the rare remastered versions I can actually enjoy. Lyrics are Brill. Feel the tension. I was listening to motorhead at the time, that dirty brit metal sound shines thru.
but people respect it
@@Disphair I know people respect it, but compared to pretty much the rest of what is considered the best of Megadeth, My Last Words doesn't get enough appreciation.
youthanasia is my favorite megadeth album, extremely underrated
I'd say Youthanasia is kinda mid. it begins pretty solid but side B is full of filler. cryptic writings, on the other hand, is a perfect commercial album by them and countdown to extinction is better than youthanasia too. IMHO
I appreciate the fact you revisited the entire discography. I respect your opinion more than the vast majority of other "worst-to- best" or "tier list/ranking" for the simple faxt that you listen to all of the albums, and revisit them. Good "Megadeth Ranking Albums" videos, brotha. I enjoy the syle of going through each with comments on the 3-parted "Known/favorite/worst" songs.
I have gone through 16 of 17 albums thoroughly in the past few months, and scored/ranked each song, and each CD accordingly. When I'm done, in a week or two. I'll post the ranking list, criteria for scoring, etc. on Reddit.
i wish someone talk about "mastermind" from cryptic writings... definitely a hidden gem.
And The Skull Beneath the Skin from KIMBABIG
Finally, some love for 1,320'. But, I might be biased because of my love for drag racing.
Fuck yeah, Five Magics is my favourite too. IMO it rivals the ToS solo, the way it blends with the intensity of the drums and rhythm guitar, the triple bass gallops on the kick drum... arguably one of the best riffs on the whole album
There is something special going on there. You got this brutal riff coming in and out and then you got this absolute bitter twisted solo. Hits a spot others cant hit.
Do not hate on sweating bullets
Nah 2:54 of Mary jane is one of their best rifts
I actually like TWNAH, maybe because I have good memories about it.
Thats a cheeky move btw bro you did at the start of the video
The Four Mechanix
Really great tier list I would put so far so good so what in S tier just because it’s one of my favorite
I would rate 9/10 to Youthanasia album. Still a very good album after so many years. I also like the Dawn Patrol bass playing and Five Magics is also my favourite track on Rust in Peace album 🤘🤘🤘
I just simply don't get the hate towards Super Collider. When I first heard it, I was just amazed. Sure, it's not metal, but the songs are still decent and catchy.
Not being metal isnt the problem. Look at Risk, Risk is way better
@@Ryu_AkeRisk is a really good album, Super Collider sucks
@@fanaticofmetal Risk isnt that good but compared to Super Collider it is
i feelt the same with super collider "wtf just happened?"
and i will miss kiko too...

I may be the only megadeth fan in the world who disagrees that rust in peace is their best album. I’ve been a fan since 1991 and know every song/album extensively but the one that I always come back too is the newest album The sick the dying and the dead. Just hits the mark for all eras of megadeth and killing time is my favorite megadeth song of all time so for me that’s the best album.
high speed dirt is such an underrated song
I agree with everything, damn
Yo you said next was motley... well I like megadeth too, so whatever hahahahaha
Its still coming anyway
I agree with most, but man, Kingmaker is a classic to me
I'm waiting for the video "5 best riffs on each Megadeth album"
Maybe, who knows
Problems is cover of Pistols
I think the Chosen Ones' solo is the best Megadeth solo and KiMBatBiG is their best album 😎🤐☠️
(MY OPINION)
The first half of that album is flawless. Rattlehead and Skull Beneath The Skin are underrated bangers, same with the title track. But after Chosen Ones, I don’t care as much.
"underwhelming and forgettable" apparently equates to 7/10
Average.
@@Ryu_Ake Shouldnt average be a 5/10 on that scale
@@captainravioli1364 5 is bad
4 and below, awful
5 bad
6-7 average
7.5 solid
8+ good
@@Ryu_Ake Then what’s the point of having almost half of the scale all being Awful? Would make more sense if 5/10 was average, 4 below average and below 3 would be bad
mine(favourite / least favourite):
Last Rites/Loved to Deth / These Boots
Wake Up Dead / I Ain't Superstitious
In My Darkest Hour / Liar
Tornado of Souls / Dawn Patrol
Ashes In Your Mouth / Psychotron
The Killing Road / Blood of Heroes
99 Ways to Die / Breakpoint
Vortex / Have Cool, Will Travel
Prince of Darkness / The Doctor Is Calling
Dread and the Fugitive Mind
Kick The Chair / Shadow Of Deth
Sleepwalker / Amerikhastan
This Day We Fight! / Bodies
Black Swan / We the People
Dance In the Rain / The Blackest Crow
Lying In State / Bullet to the Brain
Mission to Mars / Sacrifice
I remember listening through their entire catalog and listening through cryptic-TWNAH was one of the worst experiences of me listening to music ever
TWNAH was so bad and besides DATFM, all of the songs are so boring. Listening to "When" had to be one of the worst things ive ever done
I thought Sweating Bullets was one of their biggest hits. How is it that it's a meme?
"Hello me, meet the real me..."
@@Ryu_Akein my opinion, i think it gets the Schizophrenic idea across well. Not the best song, but i can groove to it
countdown and SFSGSW >>>>>>>>>>> Peace sells
All of Megadeth’s covers are bad
How dare you dislike Mary Jane
Btw Holy wars is 100% not their most known song of the album, it's tornado of souls by a mile
