They woyud not feast until BOTH parents were gone! [She figured it out after setting up a camera where one of her culprits (CATTO) DIDN'T find itand knock it over and the dog would bite through it. ]
love this guy!!!!! he got the goldens good, all right with them, it's ear troubles, cut paws, pulled muscles, rarely eye issues, allergies, but MOST of the time, it is something they ate. and they will eat almost anything!
As a mom of a staffy, yes they do get very emotional when they’re scolded at even to the slightest and definitely give you the saddest eyes, they let out a deep sigh, and just dramatically act so sad even with a simple no 🤣😭
The only thing i would change, is that the Great Dane should be wearing the desk like a fortress on top of an oliphaunt because he's too big to get under it. 😂
I had a girlfriend for a while that had a Great Dane. She would hide under the bed. And what I meant by "under" is that she would shove most of her head under the bed with the rest of her huge body sticking out. The funniest thing was you could call her and she wouldn't move. You could tell her, "I can see you", and she would just stay motionless. If you touch her, she would slowly pull her head out and look at you like, "How did you find me?" LOL!
My dad had a chow that he used to take to work sometimes (he was a supervisor doing large construction jobs). When he was in the office she would sleep under his desk. Sometimes a contractor would come in to the office yelling at my dad and the dog would immediately start growling and snarling under the desk. If they kept yelling, she’d come out and stand between my dad and the guy that was yelling while showing all her teeth. Everyone decided to use inside-voices after that. Lol. (Also, that dog had great recall and wouldn’t ever hurt anyone. She just really hated when people yelled or fought. When my brother and I fought when we were little, she’d grab one of us by the shirt, pull us apart, then get between us and growl if we raised our voices. If we tried to physically fight, she’d push us apart. She treated full grown men in much the same way.)
I have a rottie lab mix who is like that 4 yo child who needs validation and constant attention when her border collie brother gets attention. Love these tik toks.
OMG I had the same mix. Smartest dog I’ve ever seen. People SAY they want smart dogs. No, you do not. He could open windows after unlocking them, then he would jump out of the window. The weirdest thing was he preferred the window that was over a daylight basement….2 stories. He could unlock the sliding glass door, open it and leave. He routinely used the fridge door for all of his ice and water needs. We lived in a small neighborhood outside of the town itself. Only one or two streetlights. I’d send my son out to find him after his escapes. Son came in crying he was laughing so hard. He had a flashlight and out of the corner of his eye saw movement. He looked down and this dog was hiding in the dark near his feet. He would move when the light came near. He was literally, and I mean literally, right by his feet and hiding. I miss that dog
@@debbylou5729 oh, that is a crazy mess. When I was a teen, we had a keeshond/cocker mix who was that smart. She would get out the locked gate and wander the neighborhood then come back to the gate. If her terrier brother got a treat, even though she didn't like treats, she would give us the cold shoulder until she got the treat and buried it so that her brother could dig it up and eat it. It was the principle of the matter and not the treat itself..lol.
@@cheriremily9360 I think we’re a lot alike. Me watching ‘experts’ explain that we are just assigning human behaviors to animals. They aren’t ACTUALLY getting out of the area, it’s just our perception that they’re doing that
@Vetster I used your service because of this video! My Danes got into a sibling fight and one ended up injured. I couldn’t carry her to the car to drive her to the emergency vet. I felt overwhelmed and alone. I got a quick tele medicine appointment with Dr. Mike M and we did an exam (it helps that I am a human ER nurse). He was compassionate and knowledgeable. I am so grateful I saw this video and used your service
We're so happy to hear that you had a great experience! Thank you for sharing, we hope that she's feeling better and that the siblings have overcome their differences! ❤️
Aww thats my Staffy's they would only care if were upset with them, yet they are ALWAYS getting into something. Sweet as can be but can easily leave a trail of chaos in their wake.
My Labrador girl would be like: "Before we even start, where's the Treat Dispenser button on the screen? I always get treats at the vet. No treats, no treatment." (stern look) 😂
That staffy is so true. The owners come in for something simple then freak out over something so little like not eating every last kibble in the bowl or anxiety when the dogs fine.
My dog is a HUGE fan of the vet. All the techs love her, she’s always so excited for the treat jar, plus my vet keeps a jar of peanut butter on his desk. The only time she wasn’t happy to go in was when she walked happily through the door, right past the nice nurse with the good pill pockets, and into a back room where they were giving clients free photos of their pet with Santa. We’ll never forget the year that Ness peed on Santa’s lap. That was a great card.
Cocker: it started about after the cataracts but before the gut issues. (I truly believe they lose sight and hearing and start farting to let you know they are passing by)
Not my Simba remembering the vet tech from the last visit so yesterday he got underneath the bench against the wall like “Mawmaw!!! NO! Do. NOT. let her take me!” 😆😩 it was soooooo cute 🥹
As the owner of a Staffy this is dead accurate. My dog is so sensitive. He looks like a tough dog, all muscle and a big head, but he's such a baby. He hates it when he's in trouble. He literally runs away and sulks if you say his name in a stern tone and he is so loving when I'm sad. It really seems like he wants to comfort me. He's just such a sweet, sensitive boy.
Just wanted to say thanks for this info--I signed up to Vetster 'cause my cat FREAKS over going to the vet. This is much easier on her! FuzzyGrrl thanks you, too.
I actually tried that with my cocker. His ears are so heavy, the scrunchie wouldn’t hold them. I’d have to seriously injure his ears to be able to hold them up, and of course I won’t do that. It’s gotten to where the vet just calls in the meds for me without even needing to see the dog because he trusts me to diagnose an ear infection and to bring him in if it gets worse than usual.
