Parts to Change
Resistors 0805 Package Size
R3 Change to 27k
R4 Change to 33k
R5 Change to 1K (Low Gain) or 100K (Hi Gain)
Capacitors 0805 package size
C1 Change to 22nf
C4 Change to 100pf
C8 Change to 1uf (I used a smaller 0603 package size for this one)
C8.5 Add in Axial Style 1uf electrolytic capacitor in parallel to C8

rock it before you box it. Most of us pedal builders test the circuit before we ever box it. That way you know it works. If you box it up first and it doesn't work it's a lot harder to diagnose the problem inside the box.

Circuits can't be patented, and no one holds copyrights to circuits. They can hold the copyrights to the pcb layout but that's about it. Unless they use a proprietary part like the plasma pedal there isn't much they can do to stop someone from taking that circuit and producing it. It's the reason Bill Finnegan gooped the klon. It gave him time to sell his pedal for years before anyone could deconstruct it. As soon as they figured it out you saw many clones. Cloning circuits is perfectly legal. You just can't copy the pcb layout. That falls under an "art" copyright going back to the days that pcbs traces were hand drawn.

Why are you adding a capacitor from the pedals volume pots center lug to ground?

Hi, It's not going to ground, it's in parallel to the output coupling capacitor, cheers!

Very cool! I see you have what appears to be a Single Rectifier, and a Dual Rectifier behind you. I have a Dual Rectifier, Triple Rectifier, and a Stiletto Trident Stage II among other amps. I am interested in what other amps you use or what tubes/valves you prefer. It looks like you've built a nifty switching system. You always seem to come up with cool ideas. Cheers!
