What a gorgeous trip, thanks for sharing. Also kudos to bringing your two young kids everywhere, including on the hikes. They are going to be adventurous and afraid of nothing, lovely to see.
I can't believe how much good weather you seem to have had. I was born in Scotland and remember days like that - but more recently, the last 20 years or so - whenever I visit, it's just wet, damp and cloudy. How I wish for those auld days again.
The real name for Skye is An t-Eilean Sgitheanach . You might have noticed the signs are in Scottish Gaelic and until relatively recent times ( as in the Highlands) the only language spoken. Great Vlog, I hope you enjoyed your visit.
Loved this just came back from Scotland in June/July. Stayed in Skye but didn’t see anywhere near as much as you did. Just stunning. Did you need a permit for your drone. You got stunning shots
2:57 - It's a combination of the rain and the crumpled landscape... 7:11 - There are also dinosaur footprints at Staffin Beach a little farther North from Brothers' Point. 21:51 - Sometimes when there's a strong on-shore wind the waterfall never makes it to the beach...
With references to the Cullen Skink it's smoked haddock not smoked salmon, and that place has won lots of awards for their Cullen Skink, it's the best!

No I didn’t need a permit. But there were areas I couldn’t fly it. Hope you had an awesome trip.
Glad you enjoyed my home. If you want anywhere North of Broadford, you drive by my house. :)

Thanks for sharing, it looks beautiful, what drone did you use?
We use a DJI.
Loch's not Lakes when in Scotland.

Thanks for the insight! It was delicious!
Those lochs ( lakes. Pronounced locks) are super super deep never mind cold.

Yes I have heard that some of the mountains in Scotland are the same as the Appalachian mountains in the US. Thanks for watching!
Fun fact - Scotland is the only country in the world where Coca Cola isn’t number one (where Coca Cola sold), it’s Irn Bru that’s number 1 😊
Wow! We realized that coke is not big there.
Lochs not Lakes
Yes! Realized that after being in Scotland a couple days.
Anyone else triggered by how they were eating the scon?
What is proper way? 😄
@@trailblazinpeppersgenerally the scone is cut in half and then you put jam on it with clotted cream. You can just have butter if you like. 😊
Too much of your faces and not enough of the views. Usual mistake made by amateur vloggers. Pity.
Thanks for the feedback. No worries. We are amateurs and have lots to learn!
We live on NW Skye , nobody keeps calling it The Isle of Skye , it’s just known as Skye , very irritating
Oh that’s good to know! We loved visiting that area.
