Ingredients:
How to make Broken Wheat ( Samba Rava) Upma
Wheat Rava - 1 Cup
ginger(Finely chopped) - 1 tsp
green chillie(Finely chopped) - 1 nos
Big onion(Finely chopped) - 1 Small
Coconut oil - 1 tbs
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Dry red chillies - 3 - 4 nos
Curry Leaves
Water - 2 1/2 Cups
Salt ( according to taste )
Grated coconut - 1 Cup

നുറുക്ക് ഗോതമ്പു കിട്ടാത്ത ഒരു കാലത്ത് മുഴുവൻ ഗോതമ്പു വറുത്തു പൊടിച്ചു (അമ്മിക്കല്ലിൽ) കൂടുതൽ തേങ്ങയൊക്കെ ചേർത്തു ഉപ്പുമാവ് ഉണ്ടാക്കി കഴിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. വളരെ നല്ല രുചിയാണതും. പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ഗോതമ്പു വറുത്തുപൊടിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടാവാം.

Have you tried rice uppuma Madam sprinkle with a little water allow it to sit for 10 minutes crush it in a mixie and make uppuma. That too is good.

I made dates pickle. Awesome unbelievable no words. This I will make it again and again. Madam one tip please add one table spoon of curd or Moru at the end of any uppuma you make or you can use a bit of milk but curd is best. While making curry we add a bit jaggery to improve taste. The same goes for curd in uppuma. Try it Madam.
