❤ your videos. Your peace Lilly is beautiful. I wanted to see your video about your peace Lilly because I just transferred mine to water. I keep looking 👀 at her. lol
I’m trying to get my plants out of soil because I just cannot abide the fungus gnats. It took me a while to clean her roots and get all the soil out… but finally it is done. I’m thinking 💭 about putting a heat mat under the vase to keep the water a bit warmer. We will see how it goes. lol
But yours looks good. Thanks for sharing your story 🙏🏽

I thought it was 3 percent hydrogen peroxide one part hydrogen peroxide to four parts water .....not twelve? And did it work?

I think you're right about the 4 parts. Did it work? It did not make things worse (and might have even reduced the gnats) but it didn't eliminate the gnats so I'm on the fence about this rememdy. I'm still on the look out for a solution that eliminates all gnats and keeps them away. 😞

@@plantsandthings_za ah hydrogen peroxide was my next attempt, I'm experiencing the joy of gnats right now. I've tried insecticidal soap and letting my plants dry out, changed the soil in some.
Every time I think they're gone, a week or two without seeing any, I see one flying around me and I find one or two on my sticky traps. .....😠

@@nicoleperron3315I am trying out diatomaceous earth right now and will report back if that works 😀

@@nicoleperron3315 Okay, I've been using diatomaceous earth for a couple of months now - just sprinkling some of the DE on the dry soil and making sure that the soil dries out - and I'm happy to report it's been working; plus, because of this I've been letting the plant soil dry right through between waterings and that's probably helped as well; It does clog the soil though, so I might have created another problem while solving the first 😅 but happy overall.
