Your Monstera is beautiful.
I'm just like that will do over and over till I'm satisfied.
New subbie ❤ love your content 🎉
Thank you ☺
Beautiful plant. I always get nervous when I repot Lol.
I enjoy repotting but doing it on camera was a different experience all together 🫢
I didn't see if that big pot had a drainage hole... Love the mustardy yellow, maybe a favourite colour of yours..?
I have one of those, but variegated. I only got it over a year ago. I saw on a few other channels about how to make a moss pole, so I did and the plant has grown to 5 ft now. Apparently it makes the plant think its got a tree to climb so it grows extra fast. .
The videos I watched were by Sydney plant guy, hes v good for moss pole info. Yoga and plant with Roos and The Jungle Haven.
The pot has one large drainage hole and yes, yellow is definitely my favourite colour 😅 I would like to try a moss pole out with my new Thai con so I’ll definitely check those channels out.
I've never seen anyone pot a Monstera that way! Mine is potted with all the plants facing front. It lives against a wall, facing the light source. It will look fuller that way.
It also is sort of a nightmare, as someone who had one like that and I just put it facing one direction. They end up growing into each other and the leaves all overlap and it's sorta ridiculous. This is me warning you so you don't do the same. :)
Where did you get that beautiful big pot from? Adding some pine bark or orchid bark to the soil of your Monstera Deliciosa will help. June in The Junegle, Virginia 🪴Happy Planting🌿
I got the planter from Mauritius, from a store called Super U 😀
Your Monstera leaves are so big and beautiful, what is your plant mixture?
Thank you! I use a mixture of coco peat, perlite and orchid potting mix.
Great video. Your monstera looks awesome 💚 I turn my plants 90 degrees Monday, Wednesday, Friday so each side gets sunlight, be careful turning monstera they have a front and a back and apparently turning them can make it corkscrew and get damaged 🤷🏻♀️
You're so disciplined about this. I think I've given up before I started because the plant is so widespread 🫠
@@plantsandthings_za hang in there it just takes time. Giving the plant support will help it aswel like moss poles, planks, trellis ect. I found using pvc Coco coir poles work great as they don't rot or rust
