    Hi...your videos helped me a lot to learn about air dry clay. And I have one doubt... the plate of the miniature food becomes uneven after dry when i am trying to arrange all the food items on the plate when the plateis still wet..... I don't know why this happens...... my doubt is we have to arrange all food items on the fully dried plate only??

      yes, you have to let the plate dry first before attaching anything to it. it becomes uneven because air dry clay shrinks when it dries.

    Hello! Thanks for this new video! Really helpful 😊 i use the same air dry clay recipe as yours! I have a question, I have a cured project/figurine and I still need to add a few details on it, is it possible to add a layer of air dry clay on its surface? Im worried it might get ugly or it would not adhere.. i might start all over again 😅

    • @zainclayarts
      @zainclayarts  Год назад

      Yes, you can scratch the surface a bit with a cutter or something where you'll add a new layer of clay. Then use glue to stick it on. That should help adhere the new clay to the cured piece :)

    What about not completely dry but having a grainy substance as you try to work it.

      not sure what you mean by grainy substance but i have another video which focuses on 'drying' clay. though the process is pretty similar to this one.

    As mine is difficult to cut and it's mouldit it clay what can I do to soften it?

    • @zainclayarts
      @zainclayarts  19 дней назад

      if soaking the clay in water doesn't affect the clay in the least, unfortunately this method will not work to soften your clay. i can't give any other suggestion since i haven't used other air dry clay aside from the diy clay i use and this is the only softening method i know that worked for it.
