Early in my departure years...... the thing that helped me to see myself outside of the view of the organization was when my brother told me to stop acting disfellowshipped. He told me that God had not left me and that I was still loved. It took a while but I learned to accept God's Love.
I went to the Memorial here as well. It was held in a conference room at a hotel. I went and spoke with my JW acquaintances about how powerful Jesus sacrifice is. I used the Memorial as an avenue and because it was the Memorial they were agreeing with everything I said.

I have JW family who I dearly love and who love me and except me, I'm a Christian. In college a friend shared her testimony about how she used to be in a cult based on Christianity. How from the bottom up, the middle out, and the top down, God moved. He opened their eyes to who really is He is and they excepted Jesus and were saved. So for well over twenty years I have been praying this for Jehovah's Witnesses. You are an answer to my prayer Ali. I shared this years ago in your comments, but in case you missed it I wanted to share it again. I pray that you would be encouraged. God is moving. God bless : ) My step mom was shunned and during that time she met and married my dad. They have since divorced. But she is no longer shunned and she goes on many JW missions trip (is that the lingo?).

I am so impressed with your growth! I went to a Kingdom Hall during my teenage years because my father made me. I hated it! I became very rebellious but I will say I learned a lot about the Old Testament. Anyway I was influenced for many years from that very small time in my life. I cannot imagine being brought up in that environment. It stuck with me for years! although I did not attend services after my turning 18 it affected me a lot. God bless you Ali. I have family members that suffer from this cult. They are so brainwashed. You are a very strong person. I applaud you for persevering. Do not go back! You don’t owe anyone. I am married to a disfellowshiped JW who is very interested in being reinstated. I am a christian who attends non denominations service. How do you advise that I could explain to him there is no 144,000 going to heaven. What do you think in your personal opinion is the best way to wake him up? I have to be very careful and I love him dearly and I respect him but I am concerned about his soul. He believes Jesus Christ is the arch angel Michael and so many other false doctrines. Please if you have any advice I would really appreciate it. He was born into the religion and his entire family has shunned him. He has no one besides me and his co workers. He goes to meetings and just sits there in silence while everyone avoids him. It really breaks my heart that he truly believes what they teach.

My solicited advice to you is: take care of yourself. Protect YOUR heart, YOUR spirit. You cannot wake up your husband. Please educate yourself on codependency. Stay very grounded and supported by your spiritual community. Prayer, prayer, prayer. Love your husband as he is. Maybe he'll never leave JWs on this side of heaven ...so ask yourself if you're willing to just love him as he is? Perhaps a good therapist for yourself. The only advice I can give is to NEVER give up praying.for him. With God, all things are possible. I'm in the same boat as you, and at times, I feel like there's no hope, but stay strong in the Lord and in the power of HIS might. We don't know how it will end for them, but we KNOW how it ends for us. Just keep praying, and don't give any ground to the devil by thinking you're already defeated. Jesus defeated the devil 2000 years ago when He rose from the grave. All things are possible with God. Remember that.

So I found that JW wasn't accurate on Nisan 14 this year in March, they done Nisan 15, the Jewish passover in the time of Jesus, if they was to count 14 days from New Moon at sundown in March, it does not equal March 24th but rather 22nd-23rd of march. I am gonna hold the memorial again 14 days after New Moon of April which is same day as eclipse. So I found that JW wasn't accurate on Nisan 14 this year in March, they done Nisan 15, the Jewish passover in the time of Jesus, if they was to count 14 days from New Moon at sundown in March, it does not equal March 24th but rather 22nd-23rd of march. Yes. Translaters left out the words Apothecaries/Druggists/Medicines/Pharmacy/Doctors/Sophists so they could continue to get medical help. They attributed those words as magic and sorcery to have people believe it was only connected to spirit healing, occult practices, amulets, spells, and spirit "blessed" potions. If one researched what the medical done in egypt down to roman world powers, it was way more than just the loose term of sorcery and magic, it was the entire medical establishment. Egypt was able to research genes, do surgeries, mix plants together for a medicine (bio chemist was called an apothecary), everything was at the expense of human lives for the desire was to undermine the tree of life hence why its authorized to those who wash their robes in Revelation. Too bad Jehovahs Witnesses followed every other christian denomination on fleshly desires.
