- So after my last video two elders come to tell me off for calling out the Governing Body of Jehovah's witnesses.
The Video has a echo feedback on the video but what was said can still be heard.
"I wasn't contradicting the watchtower, the Bible was contradicting the watchtower." 👍
That says it all.
By their definition of apostate, the Bible is "apostate literature."
One piece of good advice from David Splane of the Governing Body, he said last year in his "Put up a hard Fight for the Faith" talk:
"Read the Bible every day and meditate on it. Pay attention to the words;
pay attention to what they mean. Be like the Beroeans referred to at Acts chapter 17:10,11. ... When you hear something, check it out; don’t just circulate it; don’t just believe it; check it out."
So I did and now my wife and I are out of the JW's.

I notice they rarely mention reading it daily anymore. There was a time you would hear them say that all the time.

Reading the Bible without Watchtower literature is what woke me up. After a while, things just don't add up when you compare Watchtower to the Bible. It's pretty self explanatory, no need to wait for clarification when the truth is right there in the Bible!

@@scottgrey2877 There is no need to look further than the Bible for the truth. JW's use all kinds of literature to explain the Bible. That's the lens they look through. When I took off my Watchtower glasses, I could see the truth about Jesus, God and the Bible.

I like the way she said "it's not JUST stress", too, because we get sick basically due to two things. Our genetics and environmental factors. I'd say the biggest environmental factor that triggers illness is stress. I believe it's the "switch" that turns on many illnesses so good on your wife for defending you about it.
Never forget the examples of Jeremiah, Job, Elijah, Habakkuk, Paul, even Jesus Christ. All of these men went through ordeals that stressed the importance of a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with God. Sometimes the institution for true worship was entirely corrupt as in Jeremiah's case. God could work with each person individually. He isn't limited to working through a "channel" of humans. He interacts with humans as he chooses. Binding him to an earthly channel de facto is how most cults and organized religions like to paint god to force people into a dependency on the religious group itself. This is wrong. This is about control. It's also often about power, pride, narcissism, money, and cognitive dissonance. Good job on questioning this institution, and their corrupt teachings.
Thank you. When you hear these examples. We can often think how we would react and when this pending I thought I was ready but the reality was different and you really have to rely on Holy Spirit as Jesus promised He would give us at these times.
“And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself or what you should say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”” (Luke 12:11-12, ESV)
I became a Christian, and was disfellowshipped in 1974, and I am STILL shocked at the blindness I see and hear from these elders!
They are modern scribe and Pharisees the position of elder and ego is much more important than what they are actually being indoctrinated with sadly
Elders are really "company men" who act as human resource agents for the Watchtower organization.
Remember, human resource agents act only in the best interests of the company.
Elders search out any who are not loyal to the company, and those who are not actively supporting the policies and mission; as well as, individuals who are not reaching established goals within the corporation.
All of these individuals threaten the profitability and outward reputation of of the company, and may affect others in the organization.
When individuals inside of the organization/corporation have learned of hypocritical actions, deceitful policies, or lies regarding the actions of representatives of corporation, departments or heads of the corporation (Governing Body) and begin exposing these...
Elders (human resource agents of the Watchtower ) are assigned to eliminate or lessen the effects of "whistle blowers" by labeling them "apostates".
Once they identify an individual as a "whistle blower" they follow well established company rules and actively pursue any threat that may expose secretive practices, hypocrisy, or harmful or illegal actions that may impact company's profitability.
Elders follow corporation guidelines set forth in the exclusive manual for elders, entitled: "Shepherd the Flock of God" published by the WTBTS.
1. To become informed as to the level of knowledge and information a potential whistle blower possesses.
2. Have a formal meeting (Judicial Committee hearing) with them to ascertain the level of dissent or waning support for the organization and threat they pose to the corporation.
3. Formally put the whistle blower on notice their actions constitute disloyalty to the corporation and they will be "fired" from the company losing all benefits and any ties to other members of the corporation.
4. During a congregation meeting ( regularly scheduled corporation workshop) announce the "firing" of those who have failed to follow company rules.

My goodness it was like having my teeth pulled out one by one. I've heard those scripted replies hundreds of times repeated like a mantra. All elders are trained to not listen to logic but when it confronts them they shut down their reason and go to text book answers and after that the mask falls the veiled threats start to emerge and they get nasty. Quite frankly I cannot recall one single elder that has woken up when confronted like this. The cognitive dissonance is so entrenched along with the organisational peer pressure, that nothing short of a "Road to Damascus" moment will shake them from their misguided zeal.
I was a JW since 1975 and left 1215 after waking up. Based on hindsight I would never leave on Watchtower's terms (sending a disassociating letter) as it will come back and bite you. Those two false apostles have the power to wreck your lives by breaking up your family and friends permanently. Seriously if you leave, do it quietly. Even fain "repentance" and then slowly slip away and fade. Ignore all correspondence with them and do not respond to invitations to a judicial committee as you will be the only loser. My relatives faded years ago and are out of their reach. I wish I had done the same. Those "creatures" are wolves in sheep's clothing. Good luck.
I second those thoughts. Please don't allow these men to cut you off from your own family. You need not acknowledge them. Christ chose times to slip away from people, and other occasions he chose to stand up for god publicly. But please be discreet and decide what might be best for you and your own situation. Fading is usually the best method. But to each his own. ✌️🙏

I faded as well but now since my family is not succeeding in convincing me to come back to the organization, they are fading from me. I am not good enough to associate with.

My wife wanted to say, she sent a text afterward to the elder and he blocked 🚫 her without replying 😒 🙄. Everyone has been calling him out ever since.
I never wrote a disassociation letter. I just faded away. I did get some elders visit for a time, but then I moved house and they lost track of me. Best thing I ever did and that was back in the late 90’s.
I am now a born again Christian and I praise the Lord He saw something in my heart worthy to open my eyes. Thank you Lord Jesus for leading me to real truth. Amen.

My anxiety levels were right up there while watching this, I didn’t have the nerve to do what you have done in this video. I chose to fade away over two to 3 years as my mother is still in and i can still visit her but every visit or phone call ends with her crying and begging me to come back to Jehovah, I wish you and your wife all the best

This whole experience was eye opening for us. They were on dodgy ground when tying to prove GB from Scripture. We hadn't listened to my wife's daughter for years. Keep trying with your parents, it's never too late to start new.

Yesss I love it when she called that elder out for his aggression. It’s like he was having a power trip. Getting off on this sense of “authority “ he thinks he has over these people. There was no love or compassion shown at all. Not even honest intentions in coming to the truth.
Oh my goodness, it takes me back to a couple of visits I had with Elders, and a circuit overseer. I questioned a twisted scripture being used in a Watchtower study, the Elders could NOT see where I was coming from, then the circuit overseer referred to the scripture that he thought said “where would we go” and like you, I turned to it to show them what it ACTUALLY said. There were other issues I had, anyhow you will never be able to reason with these “company men “ . I was “invited” to a dudicial meeting ,that I couldn’t go to ,and I wrote them a letter pleading that if we all act in a truly Christian way ,and followed the way that Jesus taught us , we could resolve the issue, but I was disfellowshiped without my knowledge,. I heard it via my son , who heard it via a third party.!!!! Phew🥴 p.s I was Baptised in 1960 I was not asked to be loyal to an Organisation. I was 2 months off my 80th birthday, when they decided I was no longer worthy of being called a Jehovah’s Witness. You did an excellent job of trying to reason with them ,but as you found out, you can NOT . God bless you and your lovely wife. Find your own way , be at peace. ❤️❤️

The organization, the "faithful and discreet slave," the Watchtower Society-they did NOT die for your sins, nor forgive you. You are part of Christ's body, his church, because of your faith in him. "God's organization" is a title they claim for themselves, and assert a privilege to tell you are no longer a follower of Jehovah. They have no authority or power or permission to say this or accomplish this. So you still follow Jehovah, regardless of what they say, because YOU ARE HIS CHILD. Rejoice!

A little while ago I put the question to my wife, I ask the elder here: If the Watchtower/Governing Body said something that contradicted the Bible, who would you obey the Watchtower/Governing Body or the Bible?
She immediately said the Bible. Notice the elder evaded the question and never answered it. Soon after I ask my wife that question we looked at the accounts of partaking at the memorial. She then started partaking of the wine and bread. It is true that the word of God is alive - Hebrews 4:12,13.
I can't believe that they can't see the truth even if it is right in front of their eyes. They rather believe the watchtower than the Bible.

Wow! I’m surprised that they’re not just praying to the Governing Body by now! After all, everything they said and wanted you to agree with or at least concede to, had elevated the GB to the same level as Jesus Christ! Where in the Bible does it say to ignore what you’ve found to be a false teaching, keep your mouth shut (and your brain) and believe it wholeheartedly until the Governing Body decides to correct it? They really get defensive when trying to make that “Faithful and wise servant” parable fit this organization! If only the average JW would realize that there ARE verses that describe the GB & Watchtower Society to a tee. But it’s the ones that warn against those coming to you preaching another gospel (Jesus died for our sins and was raised in the flesh on the 3rd day vs. you can live forever on paradise earth), and those who claim to speak in the name of Jehovah and their words do not come to pass. How many times have they proven themselves to be false prophets?! In the verses that say the false prophet will be destroyed and have the same consequences as Satan, there isn’t a free pass clause in that verse … “You can claim to speak in the name of God and get it wrong 5 times, but better watch out on that 6th time!” 😅 I’m honestly surprised that they haven’t “corrected” those verses to give themselves more latitude or just deleted them altogether in their New World Trashlation.
When I became an adult and was trying to decide what I was going to believe, based solely on what I found in the Bible and not the abusive childhood I survived, I tried to “make the truth my own”! I didn’t have any doubts that I wanted no parts of an organization whose exact description and fate could be found in the same verses with that of Satan. I’m so glad I escaped and managed to stay free!

As the disciples asked Jesus… I never realized that I only knew the “Watchtower Jesus” growing up! Where will you go? I’d suggest finding the real Jesus and his grace (not undeserved kindness)! It took me years to untangle even the smallest of Watchtower teachings and relearn it all without any influence from them! Best wishes to you and your family! This Elder didn't just say that he has to accept false teachings and wait until the GB got it right, he said he had to wait until Jehovah made the clarification. It was being done on Jehovahs timeline. I just can't believe how they would say this and only minutes before he said the GB were not inspired. If they a e waiting for Jehovahs timeline to clarify a teaching then this is what being inspired is. They don't reason on things.

WT plays mind games, they say the GB is not infallible or inspired but JWs cannot be a Berean and scripturally examine what they are taught. Old literature claims inspiration. One quote, WT 1/1/1942: "Those who are convinced that The Watchtower is publishing the opinion or expression of a man should not waste time in looking at it at all, because a mans opinion proves nothing except when that opinion is based wholly upon the Word of God. Those who believe that god uses the watchtower as a means of communicating to his people, or of calling their attention to his prophecies, should study the Watchtower with thankfulness of heart and give Jehovah God and Christ Jesus all the honor and credit and give neither honor nor credit to any man." (Watchtower, Jan. 1, 1942, p. 5). And that's why the elders receive letters from WT instructing them to destroy old literature.
Yes! If you study the old literature you will see this for what it is. That is way they hide it all.
I’ve had to listen to this a second time and apologies for commenting twice. This one elder so flippantly admits the governing body make errors, animatedly saying “yeah I’m sure they do” “they’re not inspired” so it’s ok to admit this in person in front of the second elder and two congregational members that the Governing body make errors but dare you say it in the microphone they’ll make mince meat out of you. Such hypocrisy, and a company man. No love.

They didn't want to look to see what was really said in that scripture when it was said "To whom will we go to" Not to where we will go to.....These guys are Blinded.They completely Avoided what Paul asked/said...and twisted the words of the Bible.

When the elders talked to my husband and I once about something Scriptural we were doing that 'the slave' didn't say to do, they asked "Are you one of Jehovah's Witnesses?"
And they asked about 'trusting the slave' too.
They try to entrap people with their questions...it seems they are trying to weed out people who aren't 100% loyal to the governing body.
All they care about is loyalty to the organisation. God bless you both.

I was astounded when one of the elders told me that “ the Bible was written only for the 144,00 and not for you.” When at the last judicial meeting with them, I handed that man an old Watchtower with the title on its cover, ‘Why read the Bible?” I had written many scriptures on it’s margins where it proves the Bible was written for anyone seeking God and truth. Watchtower elders are groomed to protect their God, the Watchtower and its governing body. They were going to disfellowship me for questioning the Teachings of the Governing body, I stopped their mouth by handing them my disassociation letter. They asked me to sign it. Did the elders ask you to sign yours?

This was gold! They never answered his questions of yes or no, but managed to squirm out of all of them.
My heart really goes out to these two beautiful examples of Christian’s. Listening to this was like a Piers Morgan interview going dreadfully wrong. You had them with the baptism questions from the 50’s regards loyalty to the organization rather than Jesus & Jehovah. The other noteworthy point is, the watchtower information does not come from the governing body it is comprised of ones in the writing department so Jehovahs channel takes the long way round before the governing body cherry pick what they want published.
Good point. If I remember rightly two members of the GB are on the writing committee. Even so they do take ALL the credit so they will have to answer for it from the Judge of all the Earth

They knew full well that the Bible says "To WHOM shall we go away to" not "WHERE". That's why they didn't want to look it up. It's a shame because I think that quieter chap knows a thing or two.

That was a lot to take in, it’s actually scary and disturbing how aggressive and defensive they get immediately upon being challenged with a simple question. They’re out of touch with reality, and in the real world, their tactics would never work on any level headed, grounded person. but that’s not who they’re interested in. as soon as they notice that you stand out from their crowd, the only thing they’re interested in is kicking you out before anyone else can notice what makes you different

These elders disturb me. My husband and I are faded and the same reason we left is because of a lack of having the bible as the authority. They've completely lost sight of the being humble and constantly studying the scriptures and adjusting where need be. I am so sorry for you having to go through this but am so happy to see you take a stand and standing firm in serving Jehovah and not men. I left also because of reading the Bible Aid to Understanding and when I spoke about it to others after studying it, I was looked at crazy. I also found out that the pure worship book never mentions that Jehovahs chariot LEAVES his people in the book of Ezekiel. Let me say that again... his chariot LEAVES his people which is a big thing to leave out. This is coming from someone who never wanted to be out... but I left for the same reason, because they are following men and not Jehovah. I feel your pain.

For much of Ezekiel, it is telling Gods people to turn back. To repent. At the beginning of the book though, Yahweh tells him they will not listen. And to remind him its not him they won't listen to, but Yahweh himself who they are refusing to listen to.
@@connormusic9274 After much research, I think the religion is well meaning but it looks like its some sort of prison from those who wake from the religious system via the Holy Spirit. Its a place to keep them from understanding scripture. Yes they do use scriptures but from what I can see now, they twist them and unfortunately distort them to suit their "prophecies". They are false prophets and slandering Yahs name in the process and the Most High has definitely taken notice of what they are doing. They spiritualize scriptures instead of taking them for what they say. The second temple destruction, was a physical event. Christ dying was a physical event. Noahs flood was a physical event. They deny signs in the bible that are clear, such as the Euphrates river drying up. The third temple being built. By saying the jews no longer matter though Yahs intentions have not changed. Israel and Jerusalem have always been PHYSICAL points of importance to prophecy. JWs reject them being physical but instead spiritualize them or make them symbolize something, which they do not realize that they are in agreeance with much of christendom. I don't know whats coming down the pipeline, but I do know when tribulation comes and JWs are not singled out as has been taught... their doctrinal system is going to collapse.

Here's a good example of how they add to the Bible to further WT teaching. If you've got the pre 2013 NWT, on page 6 it explains how additional words are in brackets, at Col.1v 16,17 they add the word OTHER in brackets, I've checked many versions and it's very plain to see it's definitely an addition. The newest silver version has removed the brackets, meaning of course they have added to the Bible, ( something that is forbidden in 3 different scriptures)The NWT is in fact a corruption of the original Greek scriptures, This subtle change by the GB of course keeps the rank and file in the dark.

You were so calm and patient with these men, I don't know how you did it. Just listening to their foolishness made me angry, the way they blatantly ignore the scriptures and instead go along with what their self appointed leaders say is absurd. They really are under a curse as they refuse to trust in the Lord and instead follow after men ... Jeremiah 17:5 " Cursed is he that trusts in man, who makes flesh his strength and turns his heart from the Lord." Your heart still belonged to God and he's blessed you because of it

Thank you so much for standing in scripture. Jesus is the truth and the life, not a manmade organization. Since departing from JW’s I have pondered whether it is necessary to be baptized again. However in 1976, I didn’t commit myself to men, I was baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. My dedication was to them, so I am strong in my faith and stand firm in whom I am dedicated to.
I've decided to get baptised again as I was done in 1993 where they had changed it to being baptised into the organisation.

They'll show you conditional love only on the provision that you believe exactly as they do and fall in line. They look down on people that question the organisations beliefs, regardless of the mass of evidence that contradicts their teachings. This may sound mean, but I don't feel sorry for them especially when they are so arrogant. These 'elders' will spend decades of their lives slaving for a LIE, waiting for something that will never come. Something that's not even real. Never allow them to make you feel inferior. In some ways they deserve our empathy, they have been truly deceived.

Everytime I asked questions that they could not answer, I was told to not rely on my "imperfect" way of thinking and to trust that Jehovah aka "Governing Body" knew what's best and to just take comfort in being in "the truth" but what's the truth? I had so many questions and saw so much that just wasnt adding up and I felt they want so much from JW's on their interpretation of the bible, their beliefs....it wasnt worth it to me to sacrifice so much and I didn't have a clear understanding of what I was being apart of.....After all these years of searching for my spiritual home, I've decided to direct my own path and have my own personal relationship with God without the influence and direction from organized religion because the people in the bible, didn't have the bible and they did just fine and were richly blessed by the true Jehovah God .
The thing the organisation doesn't understand is we are not leaning on our own understanding when we pray for understanding and the Holy Spirit to teach us as Jesus said He would. May our Lord Jesus keep blessing you xx

Holy Spirit is how we stayed calm. We have no family in. So we felt we had to lead the way and set the example in the congregation and hopefully others will follow.

I was born Jehovah’s Witness , and on Aug 12th, 2021, I prayed to Jehovah letting him know how much this religion has hurt my heart. Since I was born I’ve been told that God was going to destroy all who were not witnesses. I couldn’t do it anymore I prayed to God letting him know all the damage this religion has done in my life....I told God that all I wanted was his love not paradise especially knowing all the non-witnesses that I loved were dead and I would gladly give my life in exchange for my children that are not witnesses. I told him I could no longer assist meetings because this religion is making me think badly of him. I remember yelling in my head how I couldn’t understand how a loving God could do this knowing our imperfections...I was sobbing, overwhelmed with grief when all of a sudden I had a thought of : I would never hurt anyone. I felt it down to my bones, I instantly calmed down and felt at peace. That night as I was laying down, my whole body started with intense waves of vibration, I started to sit up and it kept going, then I just had this knowing not be afraid and I just relaxed and immediately I started seeing all these lights and I was in a tunnel of light. I kept thinking if my husband turned around I was going to be sparkling! Then I was inside of this most amazing light that was filling me with so much love, fractals of light were coming towards me and all I could hear was I love you, you are loved over and over again. I felt all the pain and hate and hurt melt from my core, I was just floating there in unimaginable love and bliss, I remember being asked if I wanted to stay and I thought of my kids and then it just melted away and I was sitting in bed. I was drunk with Gods love for 2 weeks, I was healed from a full body skin illness I had been suffering for 3 years. I haven’t been back to any meetings since. Haven’t spoken to any elders about what happened just my mom and husband her reaction was not surprising, immediately told me to talk to an elder. I know they will say it was demonic, but how can a love so complete not be from something so pure? Because of this experience, I started researching and was blown away by THOUSANDS of accounts of others who have had this out of body experience called NDE or STE, I’m telling you it’s mind blowing how death has been held over us. Everyone says the same thing: God is not Judging us WE are!!! I still pray and feel Gods Holy Spirit with me something I had never felt in the Kingdom Hall! I just want others to know that God is not in the religious buildings/kingdom hall he is in our hearts everywhere we go, always. He does not give us the spirit of fear, anything in the Bible that causes fear is a misinterpretation. Jesus came to free us from the lies and it’s happening again, we are the new scrolls...the countless witnesses of how religions are a snare! Jesus said it was done! He didn’t say now we have to follow another religions rules to inherit the kingdom! My Father and I share the same will that ALL WILL BE SAVED!
