In my case 6 months after I stopped attending meetings, two elders appeared at my work to talk to me. I let them know that it was 100% inappropriate for them to disturb me at my workplace. They left. I later discovered that the co was visiting and they appeared because they had been scolded for losing track of me. I later let them know at my home why I quit attending and that their lack of interest in me clarified to me whether they were being directed by Jehovah. My worldly associates had been the ones who helped me through the end of my marriage when my husband was disfellowshipped. Not one witness checked to see if I was ok or needed help. Even after my parents had contacted the elders and asked them to check on me. Because my husband was being physically abusive. This was all I needed to confirm to me that JW’s do not have God leading them. They lack agape love.
That was my situation when I left my ex husband. He was abusive and over time just stopped attending the meetings. I continued to take my children to the meetings and conduct a family Bible study with them, etc. But my ex was correct! ….No matter what I told the elders about his abuse at home…When he walked into that Kingdom Hall they tripped over their shiny dress shoes to shake his hand! And he was right! My children ages 16 and 19 left as well. As soon as I was out my eyes were opened to all of the bs. I was raised a JW. I left at 38 yo. That was 25 years ago, and I only regret not leaving sooner. ❤
Agape love ? 😂 Hippocrates 100% $$$$ only thank you
The audacity of it all. I am glad you are free from it all.
I am glad you are out and free from their control and hypocrisy.
Very true I found them with no real human compassion and I only studied for 1 year and found it seemed very robotic and absolutely no emotional feelings!! And this is Jehovah God's visible organization??
My dad warned me that I'm still a baptized witness (even though I've had nothing to do with them for about a decade), and I told him that the religion I got baptized into (in the 90's) no longer exists. I told him that the truth never changes, and yet the "truth" I was preaching is no longer the truth. He the then asked me to leave the house. All the JW organisation does is cause division, braking up families and friendships should you question anything. An organisation that can't be questioned, is a very dangerous organisation.
I agree. They break up families and are divisive. Thank you for sharing your experience. All the best in your journey and thanks for watching.

EPIC letter!
when I faded, I joined the air force. after 2 years of being in the military, elders tracked me down and came to my house. I still have no idea how they did it, I assume my father (an elder) had something to do with it, but he didn't have my address because he wouldn't talk to me. i also don't think I put in a change of address to that house either. weird and creepy.
They asked me why I left, and I LAYED it on them. I also put on my military uniform shirt at the same time. they got uncomfortable and asked if they could read me a scripture, I said "hell no, get off my property and never come back".
Leaving that organization was the best thing I ever did in my life, the freedom, and the weight off your shoulders is the best feeling ever. Stay strong fellow and future survivors. YOU GOT THIS
Thanks for relaying your experience. I am glad you made it out.
Once they tag you as lukewarm, they go into the tracking down mode just to make sure that other JWS will know that you are considered lukewarm and that should never be trusted.

My sincere pleasure!
My mother is still a JW. I was going to meetings when I was younger and finally when I was 17 I told her i didn’t want to do this. I wanted to be with my “worldly” friends. She tried to make me be friends with the witness kids and they were so clicky. I’m married now with a 20 year old daughter and am so happy to not be around that cult religion. It’s very sad for a child not to be able to celebrate their birthdays. I missed out on A LOT.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I am glad that you are free and living your life cult free.
Took me a long time to realize they have no power . Great show of strength my friend !

Yes! The very best!
I chose to disassociate myself last year . I wanted to take control . The elders got my letter and tried to rush me into an urgent meeting the next day, only for them to DF me I guess . I refused

Lawd 😂have mercy 🙌🏾🙌🏾 that letter is longer than the Bible 😂🤦🏽♀️! I just left my home congregation since a kid, got my records transferred to another random hall, and of course, " they" elders recommended my pioneering be taken away 🤨! At first, I was hurt and frozen a little, but I decided to stay positive and focused! They did me a favor, simply fading away now! The new congregation doesn't really know me, so it worked out ! Praise the Grand Creator and Universe ❤❤🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

We always think we are alone but the exact same thing I did also. And many more people I know did it that way.
I love your letter SO much. . In 2003 i had the opportunity to give this speech to the presiding elder of my parents, congregation along with my parents over a 4 1/2 hour period. He met with me as a personal favor to my parents with hope of bringing me back into the organization. I had told them “I had questions” I showed them original publications of the watchtower society all the way back to the founding that I had collected over the years after I left the society unbaptized. Since i was not baptized I was never completely shunned by my parents but our relationship was severely strained,.. I actually got some of the publications from my parents that they had collected from witnesses that were older than them when they passed away and bought some from online auctions. I must say you did it MUCH more eloquently..
I left in 1979 at the age of 18 after the 1975 prophecy failed. I knew then they were false prophets. Unfortunately my parents remained until their deaths in 2011&2017 blinded and disappointed by the cult as the generations before them

I’ve heard of several people who threatened to sue the elders if they persisted in their witch-hunt and made announcements of disfellowshipping and such. And were successful.
Wrong. You can't sue the watchtower...also they no longer announce disfellowshipping. The announcement simply says so and so is no longer one of Jehovah's witnesses...you are a hot air bag
I left shortly before the change in the 1914 generation teaching in 1995, I realised that the generation of 1914 had already by some means passed away whereas Jesus said it would be no means pass away ,the quiet removal of the creator's promise in the Awake wouldn't wash with me. Upon waking up I found it difficult to suppress my free speech and one elder asked me if I still viewed myself as a Jehovah's Witness to which I said I wanted to follow God not the Jehovah's Witnesses religion, they made an announcement at the next meeting that I had left the Christian congregation and I have been shunned ever since. Looking back I wish I had followed a similar tack to yourself, well done for taking the initiative 👍

You know that you can make the elders stop contacting you useing GDPR privacy laws?
I was tempted to write a letter. I'm deciding to fade instead because even if I told the Elders all the things I've found out not just about CSA, but also Geoffrey Jacksons testimony and the Australian Royal Commission (as well and the Legal Departments lying not just there but other courts like in Norway and Canada), I know it won't make a bit of difference.
I saw one Judicial Committee video (as well as others) and even with evidence proving the inaccuracies, the Elders mentality seems to be "We don't care, you're either with us or against us." If it's going to end up with disfellowshipping either way, why should I give them the time of day?
I agree. All the best with your fade and your journey.
Great points. A person that has faded can no longer be considered, by law, to be a member of the JWs. However, if a faded person agreed to a JC he would then be retrigerring that membership and by doing so, would be bound by the JWs rules.
Exactly right.
By law? There's no law. Law doesn't care.
@@MercutiosswordIt does matter. If you are recognised as a member, by law, then you are agreeing to acceptance of the rules of the organisation. I "returned to Jehovah" in late 2022 after being out for 10 years.. After attending quietly for 6 months, then the elders and JW family really started the control including a forced weekly 2 hr Bible study on Saturday afternoon for the whole summer until I said this was enough. I would have told them whether I wrote that book it’s NONE of your business. And sue them!
I faded, but not silently. I was vocal about questions and criticisms of watchtower, but no action was taken. An elder stopped by my shop, spoke for a bit, and then asked if I believed the GB were gods representatives on earth. I said "no". He shook his head and drove away. Still nothing. Perhaps because I was in the congregation since it's founding, they shied away from the inevitable questions from many as to why. I finally gave them a very public reason to disfellowship me, which prompted a call to request an elders meeting with me, which I declined, as I told them I did not recognize them as having any authority over me. They were free to do as they wished. I attended the meeting for my DF announcement. I actually enjoyed it.
Thank you for your comments. We all have our ways of leaving the organization and dealing with the aftermath.
You did great!!
Thank you.
Which ever way, kicked out or disassociate, consider it a blessing in disguise, 😮, by the way, did you write a letter to join the organization ???, just asking, 😢
Writing is a way to get things off your chest. And the second good reason is that it gives the receivers an opportunity to consider and reflect on whether they indeed are in a cult. You never know what will help someone wake up and walk out to freedom. By the way, not everyone wants freedom, some people really want to be told what to do, some people want to be flying monkeys, some people are too terrified to step out of their imagined comfort zone. And some people don't really care what is true and what isn't.
@@muma6559 totally agree 👍🏽
way back in the year 2000, i had misgivings over the blood issue.
earlier no blood means no blood.
some article in the awake said we could take certain components of blood. these were derived only from donated blood.
jws do not donate blood , then why were they permitted to accept components derived from blood?
the new light on blood confused me, i knew if i confront the elders on this topic they would tell me leave it to jehovah. i along with my wife and 4 small kids would prefer going to the zoo etc. and rarely came to the meetings.
this erratic attendance prompted the bosses of the congregation to have a sherpherding call.
we had a heated argument .
unless the wt org does not give it in black & white; i and my family will not come.
i threatened the 2 elders tho' there were 4, you know what i said, if you disfellowship me without an open committee, i will break your bones.
they developed cold feet . no one knows what was the actual reason for me leaving.
but old womens gossip says my character is questionable ,so avoid association.
all this was only conveyed by word of mouth.
i do not regret threatening those stooges of the GB.
I love this. Good for you for standing up to them.
At the time I was disfellowshipped in 1994, there wasn't so much talk about all these changes, or they hadn't considered them yet. I felt it was my doing and I should stand up and take my punishment. I was used to it, I'd been disfellowshipped in 1975, 1977, and then 1994. All because of love for a man, or by the last one, men. So why drag it into all this complexity? I really had other agenda at the time, so I wasn't that affected. Now, considering falling to the bottom of the pit in 1994 with this guy, I wish I'd never done anything wrong. It was a safe place for me, and I abused it. Now it'll be 30 years since I was one of JW, and it's all changed. I don't even feel I'd be going back to the same organization, selling off the Kingdom Halls the local brothers paid for? At least the land usually. Or what is transpiring at the top of the ladder? It makes me want to just cry, it's gone. I've asked the Elders over twice in the last decade. My unbelieving son lives with me and scared them off, they went running the first time, and the second time they quickly said a few words and they were gone. Hmmm.😒

Thank you for sharing your experience. I hope many PIMOs watch this, and that was an awesomely written letter that every PIMO or people who've faded should have nearby - it can come handy when those elders show up an announced. I was disfellowshipped in 1998. Best thing ever! I'm so incredibly happy that I don't have the weight of bringing someone over into this cult on my shoulders. It would have devastated me. I watch now in horror as their manipulations and lies keep pulling up and ache for my my parents and sister who are still in. They're always in so much fear - at 71 and 79yr olds - it is horrible to watch them buckle under the pressure of being a JW. I have completely stopped arguing with them about their religion. At least they've not shunned me completely. They eventually stopped asking me to please speak to this elder or that one, "they all just love you so much and wish you were back with us in the truth!" The last time my mom said that to me I told her they have no power over me, they are just people I know, if they decide to talk to me like a normal human being without bringing their culty stuff I'm happy to sit down for a chat and catch up about life and shit. 😅 There's is no talk about me "coming back" there's nothing to cone back to -it is all a big fat lie.😂 Two of those on my judicial committee are now dead, one I've not seen for eons. Before I moved out of my home country - I hung out with quite a few bad JW boys and girls, drinking, partying -I discovered a whole group of young adults and adults living a double life and they irony hit me so hard. All I needed to do is keep my mouth shut, but I foolishly wanted to clear my conscience so I went to the elders to tell them what was going on in my life and that I wanted to cleanup and become a good withness, get more responsibilities, blah blah blah. I was so dumb. They humiliated me then promptly disfellowshipped me!😂😂 I will NEVER forget the line of questioning on my judicial committee. I was traumatized for months - every time I bumped into one of those elders I wished the earth itself will open and swallow me. Looking back now , I find it silly how SCARED of those suckers I was!😂😂😂 And now. After I left it still took me years to deconstruct. My last time ever in a KH was in 2008 while in CO, memorial. The next year when my mom called to invite me to go to the memorial - I spit out a crap load of poison and told her I'm never ever going to set my foot in anything JW. The invites stopped then.😂

So Robin, how would you know if the elders made that announcement or not? And did you ever hear from them or any one again.
After that long letter that I listened to till the end, I think we deserve to know.
As far as I know from insider information in that kingdom hall the announcement was never made. Although the shunning happened.
I am perfectly willing to engage with Jehovah's Witnesses at my door having studied their history and beliefs. A the same time I have no expectations that my logic and critical thinking will make any difference to their shuttered beliefs.
I got in similar situation. I told elders they cant disfellowship me because i dont feel like JW for many years etc.... Then they told everyone that i asked them to not be JW anymore and that they fulfil my wish so i disassociated (i didnt say such things). They simply lied !!!. I called to betel with complaint then and they told me they "believe their elders" and not me. So tell me what to do now? 😂😂😂 You can show them laws, you can show them even their own rules. But if they really want to hurt you, they will simply lie.
Now I am writing a letter to betel with another complaint, because the elders violate laws about GDPR (europe here). Then I want to write a complaint to state because of it. But what can you do more? They choose to lie and you have no evidence just your own word.
Their actions are truly appalling. It is despicable. Thank you for sharing.
I self-litigated when the Workers Compensation Corporation shafted me, for the third time. Nice to say, ‘I’ll Sue you’, but Court Proceedings or costs are an ordeal. I told them they can do whatever. They shun you anyways when you stop going, so an announcement is no big deal.
Perfect.🚴♀🚴♀On your bike and leave me and my family alone. A lot of people who have left get scared and knuckle under. That just shows how bad this organization is. It is all about fear. I wrote a similar letter years ago, I gave my reasons why, I was left alone. I still have contact with old acquaintances, I tread lightly. It's a matter of conscious, don't mess with mine and I won't mess with yours, respect.
💯 correct. I agree.
Their manipulation is so deep it’s quite disturbing! The psychological & emotional twisting really hurts a person. They are nice ( but uneducated or brainwashed ) people following a very cultish organization which uses very strategic methods to control people’s behaviors and to keep them from leaving through guilt, shame, and control!
Very valid points.
Having said that I also personally believe that both the individual elders, witnesses, and the watchtower bible and tract society are very liable for a great many crimes against their members and of their extended family and friends.
They have so much blood on their hands. Thank you for your comments.
Thank you Robin. They caused the death of my father due to their false doctrines.
@@jamescarver3980 I am so sorry to hear that.
I heard fading is no longer an option, the Watchtower now ruthlessly hunts down faders, sends their kin and friends after them to ask them to return. By ask I means demand with the threat of disfellowshipping.
Gosh. They hate losing control and they are bleeding members.
I wouldn't believe everything you hear.
That has not happened to my husband and I. We faded in 2020.
This is a really lengthy letter. If you gave a copy to each elder, I am certain that all of them did not read it. But I am sure that one of them kept their copy and just did not share with the others that he plans to read it late. So good job with the elder body distribution. I know that putting so much details in writing was therapeutic. Also, I give you a lot of credit for delivering your letter in front of a field service group who would stone you if they could. Good job letting the elders know that they are not that valuable to their religious leaders who would not help them in an individual law suit.
👏👏👏👏👏 Superlative Letter!!!
Thank you very much.
Thanks Robin #Courage
Thank you Todd.
Thank you for clear and precise explanation of your thoughts on this matter, may I ask where your accent comes from please?
Thank you very much. I am from South Africa. 😊
I've never been a jw my family was catholic. But my relatives that became jw is so sad. Two committed suicide because they feared being shunned. Some did leave and didn't care if they were shunned they had support by us and the family they married into. It just blows my mind that they want to keep everyone poor to keep control
Almost like the government. Bless you sir. You have now awakened. ❤ welcome to living life.
Thank you. I am so sorry to hear about your two relatives.
One word to you Robin. Excellent❤👍💪. PS watchtower I made copies😂😂
Thank you very much. 😄
@@RobinJacksonZA you're welcome Robin. Hey Robin I'm from the screwed generation 1975. 😁
there coming to get you Barbra!
The problem with J W is they know to speak about other religions but they never speak about their own false doctrines sins behavior etc
That is true.
Amazing
Thank you.
Well crafted, excellent letter. Too bad they're not going to read it
Thank you and thanks for watching.

My take on disassociation is scriptural. Do not cast pearls before swine. It is none of their business what I have decided. There aren't any scriptural precedents in fact the opposite in John 6:66 where some left and that was the end of it.
Excellent work, Robin! I don't know why the Amazon ratings of your book Losing the Faith are redirecting to a different author though. Thanks
Thanks you. I will check that out.
I just up and left been 6 years now I’m treated like I’m disfellowship when I’m just inactive I figured just stop going would be the best choice since I could still talk to my family but that don’t even matter I guess there very radical I found Christ wish the others would wake up , left at 26 now I’m 32 and happy I left so young
Thank you for sharing this. No matter how you leave that organization the result is the same. All the best in your journey.
I think this is a valuable document and can be used as usful record but I dought they would read it all?
Great stuff and cheers from the land down under…
Thank you Jeffrey.
Usually there are many different types of pro bono/free law school students groups, lawyers, law firms, prosecutors officers, mental health social services emotional well being advocates, etc that are very aware of the precedent setting federal, state, local court rulings cases that pertains to each persons right of worshipping their choice of religious beliefs in America. Call your federal, state, local prosecutors office, law schools, public defenders, to see what types of free or adjustable legal fees charges according to your income level. To help you with the legal assistance of filing a " notice of intention to Sue for causing you or any family members, or distressed persons, to have any types of emotional duress/stress inducing feelings ". The certified motion for" Notice of intention to sue for any type of law breaking", is a very simple self explanatory pre emptive warning for anyone that even remotely causes someone to feel emotional stress/AKA emotional duress. You have a civil right in America to not be stalked, harassed, defamed, emotionally religiously mentally, or physically coerced/raped/harmed in any manner/cheated/robbed/tricked/swindled/etc. Once you contact the prosecutors office. it's the official job of the prosecutors/public defenders office to at least try to protect your civil, and criminal rights in America. Call them to find out how they might be able to help you. Ask them to send you their legal answers as their official reply from their office to be sent to you on their offices official letterhead documents. It's called creating a legally binding paper, or email trail. You'll need it in the process of trying to get someone to stop harassing you or anyone else that may feel threatened by someones words, or actions.
I faded, and so far I have not seen or heard from any elders in about 5 years when my mother died. You aren't the only one who was tracked down when all they wanted was to be left alone! It's awesome that you left and threatened to sue the elders for harassment over writing a book about your views. Rolf Furulli wrote a book about how he loved his religion, and even defended the 1914 debacle; yet they still did fellowshipped him anyway. I'm curious as to where you can find your book, I would love to purchase it to read! Nice letter too!
Thank you for your insights and your comments. My books may be purchased by following the links in the description of the video.
@@RobinJacksonZA I am reading losing the faith book currently, and am going to refer it to a friend!
@jeneb52 thank you for your support. I appreciate it.
Like a boss!
It was closure for you but I doubt they would even read the letter. Did you get a reply back ? I'm a former jehovahs witness myself.
I am sure they read the letter because I heard from an insider that no announcement was made.
After I left the JW organization in August 2019 due to researching and finding out so much disturbing information and false doctrines!! 2 Elders decided to call me this was around the visiting of the Overseer, can they stop back? No I replied!! I been in that organization for 60 years, hardly no visitors when I was in the hospital for several major surgeries! But now they want to visit me to make an impression with the overseer!! Hypocrisy and full of themselves!! So glad I did the work to research and got away!! I faded out doing the pandemic!! Don’t care if they shun me, because I am shunning them!! Stay away from me !!!!
Good on you. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Governing Body BLOOD GUILTY 🛑
Well stated 👏
Thank you.
“Love on another. Without love, there is no lasting peace.“ “The mind creates the abyss, but it is the heart that crosses it.” “Why is the ocean greater than all the lakes, rivers, and streams? Because it lies lower than them.” “The one you are looking for is the one who is looking” Now a word from Jesus. John 9:5. Life comes from life. That is Gods greatness.
I disassociated to get the elders off my back , but I had my christian brthers and sisters in my local church to support me ,so when Jws shun me ,they are doing me a favor.
Well done for getting out of there.

Death Cult 🛑
This is a great RUclips video by my fellow African ex JW brother. I have referred one XJW sister in South Africa to this RUclips even mentioning that Robin Jackson is an African 'Raymond Franz'. By the way, in response to the false accusations made by a cult group labeling us as "mentally deceased," it is essential to clarify the true nature of this organization. Operating under the guise of the Watchtower Secret Society of Jehovah's Witnesses, this group is far more than a religious community; it is a sophisticated multi-billion-dollar real estate empire and publishing conglomerate with a strong anti-higher education stance and litigious behavior. As it transitions into the digital realm, it continues to exploit its religious front to secure tax exemptions, grants, and government funding. The group is controlled by eight leaders based in New York State, who not only amass significant wealth but also exert absolute control, displaying cruelty towards their followers. Their activities include organized stalking of both current and former members, family disruptions, and a rigid doctrine that rejects life-saving medical treatments like blood transfusions, all while promoting a deeply misogynistic, homophobic, and patriarchal worldview. Beyond these operations, the group engages in relentless manipulation tactics, hypocrisy, and a glorification of death that severely impacts innocent lives. A 1975 study by J. Spencer, published in the British Journal of Psychiatry, highlights that Jehovah's Witnesses are significantly more likely to be admitted to psychiatric hospitals, particularly for schizophrenia, which suggests that membership may predispose individuals to such illnesses. Despite this, the Watchtower Society has labeled critics as "mentally diseased," underscoring their role in religious hypocrisy. They preach humility to their members while exhibiting arrogance, narcissism, and extreme elitism. The organization promotes poverty among its followers while its leaders live lavishly off donations. It condemns the United Nations as satanic while secretly subscribing to its membership and attacks higher education while secretly sponsoring some high-profile members to pursue university degrees. The group uses sex as a weapon of control, discourages psychotherapy despite a high rate of mental health issues among its members, and promotes marriage despite a higher-than-average divorce rate within its ranks. They constantly change teachings to cover failed prophecies, such as the 1914 generation and the predicted end of the world in 1975, later blaming members for believing these falsehoods. The organization is frequently sued for child sexual abuse and settles cases out of court with gag orders, shows a blatant lack of respect for the privacy of former members, exaggerates the nature of its humanitarian work without proof, and arbitrarily imposes questionable teachings, such as prohibiting beards, only to reverse these rules decades later. The group instills fear in members and non-members alike with constant warnings of Armageddon, treats adults like children by dictating their behavior, and cunningly recruits new members through disinformation while prohibiting critical examination of its own false teachings. This organization is toxic, elitist, and anti-social in many respects, and it is crucial to expose the harm it causes under the facade of piety.
Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts on the matter. Thank you for your kind words. 😊
