I love this! I'm looking forward to more solo videos. You're always an inspiration, Valeria! I'm also to a point in my life where I had to be honest with myself and admit that I don't want just a normal life, but an excellent one. Hearing this from you somehow made me realize that it's okay to want more and not settle for just the bare minimum or for the normal-especially since, like you, I missed out on that foundation during childhood. Thank you!

Thank you for being so authentic and truthful Valeria. I reached a threshold a long time ago after living in Hawai'i for decades. I always wanted to move to where I live now. I wasn't thriving on an island that was so busy,in a town where a Target and Whole Foods changed it so much. I've been hard on myself in the past, especially having a very successful sibling and I've had to accept that we are very different people and not to compare myself to anyone ever. 🙂 Self compassion is so important,as well as challenging yourself in a healthy way.

Valeria, I am so inspired by you sharing your shift on botox. I lived in South Florida for four years and completely understand the toll the beauty standards today (especially around Miami) take on our perceptions of our own beauty. Aging is a privilege, and in so many other cultures with much deeper roots than Western culture it is the elders who are seen as the most beautiful!
I truly see this narrative around us as we are coming into our 30s as a fad, just like skinny was the fad when we were young teenagers. I applaud you being brave and sharing your perspective on this. You are beautiful inside and it radiates outward!

Thank you for this solo episode. I think I needed to hear your thoughts when it came to what is ‘home’ and moving countries. As an Irish woman living in a terrifying Ireland, I too want to live somewhere that’s safer. I admire your mother for emigrating to Canada for a safer place to raise you and your brother. She did the right thing. I would love to hear more episodes talking about migration. I’m considering moving to the USA. 🇺🇸
Once again, thank you for your thoughts. 🇮🇪☘️

You are such an inspiration and what you talk about in each episode resonates with me so much. I've been going through these shifts in the last few years as well and sometimes I struggle to find like-minded people who get me, in a world that's still full of limiting beliefs. I'm not where I want to be yet but I'm grateful for the experiences that led me here and I know what my goal is.
Keep doing what feels right for You because that's the only way forward! Your podcast is the best and I definitely feel less alone thanks to You!

As a Russian immigrant yes I agree. I don’t have loyalty to a city, town or country. Because sometimes you will need to pick up and leave those places behind either for your growth or safety. Be loyal to your family and people that are around you everyday and that fill your cup up. We human evolve and grow and mature we don’t stay stagnant throughout life.
I teach my kids that all the time. My personal family we have moved 3 times in 3 years and yes it nice to be in one place for a while but if it’s not meant to be then it’s not meant to be. We can’t stay in one place for others. ❤

    My draw towards Valeria.
No matter how much I tried to forget her I keep coming back to her channel.
I find her slightly intimidating but honestly it’s just me being intimidated by the power she holds. It’s incredibly inspiring.
She has overcome so many challenges and through facing her fears she has unlocked opportunities which have led her to living her dream life.
She had such a fear of being seen and despite this she pushed through and became a model.
Through putting herself in uncomfortable situations, she learned to find comfort in the discomfort and she kept that mindset for life.
She looks at life from a balanced and grounded perspective, despite being very intelligent, kind, beautiful. She has not let her achievements make her out of touch with reality.
She was so insecure and afraid to find her own voice and now she regularly expresses herself and speaks her truth and spreads her inner wisdom to her audience. That’s what makes her so magnetic. She is authentic to herself and living in alignment.
She could have settled for a life as a model but she made the conscious decision that she wanted more from life and she stuck with it. I find that the most inspiring, when in a situation where the easiest thing to do is to stay, the person chooses to leave as they value their growth more than their comfort.
With each episode she continues to amaze me more and more and I am grateful to have this figure to look up to.

Love it!! thank you sooo much for sharing Valeria. Totally agree about moving countries, I´ve done it 3 times in my life and it´s not easy at first... but God, what you gain from it, is so worth it, you grow and learn so much!! About botox, I´ve never done it and I am 44 years old and to be honest, I still have the same face with no wrinkles than in my 20s and 30s... I am starting to notice some sagging in my cheeks and I now I do use a devise for sculpting face and neck massager, and is working wonders so far + I´ve always done a nice mediterranean diet, drink lots of water, gym, use a nice serum and moustriuser... I mean, nowadays if you look after yourself nicely on a daily basis, you can get old in a beautiful and natural way, not having to do invasive treatments. At least thats my experience. Take care, until the next episode ;-) Besos.

You’re gorgeous without Botox. My grandmother had amazing skin and her skin was plump into her 80s and smooth to the touch and it was in Russia where you didn’t have much skincare options in her day. So yeah if those women can do it so can we in our modern life. You don’t need to inject poison into your body. Eat healthy, drink water, eat saturated fat and animal protein and your skin will be glowing and healthy. Add some skincare as well. ❤❤
