I was looking at the SV650 but financially it's a bit of a stretch for me. I'm deciding between the Ninja 500SE and Z500SE right now. I'd be happy with either of them but I really like the look of the Ninja.
I can't decide between a bv400 and a xmax300 to replace the bv250 (2007) I own. It's light and it's a lot of fun but it's getting old; I would buy it as new if it was possible. You haven't evaluated the xmax300 yet. Will you someday? Thanks!
Nice comparison. I like the red/black design on the Ninja 500, but also the green/black on the Z500. Will you be showing the 2024 Orange Ninja 650 if there is one in stock? I really like the more vibrant colors on a sportbike. Thanks.
As a thin guy, I prefer the tapered, narrow handlebars of the Ninja. The Z’s handlebars are more straight and I feel like I’m reaching out for them over the wider tank. The Ninja feels more like you’re in the cockpit, instead of stretching over it.
Revving is what these bikes are made to do. It's not a problem to ride with them on higher revs. Yes bigger engines may rev lower at high speeds, but it's not going to harm the bike.

Those two Kawasaki's are a lot of fun. If they fit your budget, you won't regret it.

The USBC on the Z500 is indeed in a strange spot, behind or under the front fairing where the headlights are, you'll find it.
They just teased a new model seems like a new Z, what could it be?
If the seating position is the same, as a beginner, I want to use it as daily commute, should I get a Ninja 500 or Z500

I also prefer the clip on style handlebars of the Ninja. You’re going to just have to sit on both and see what’s comfortable for you.
the 500 SE make not stuggle to get to 70mph but holding it there its up in the rpms not fun at all

Don't scratch that "taint" Pete!!!..lol
I knew someone would catch that. I left it in for your entertainment. 😉
Hi Peter
DEE-CAL not DEC-AL
Sure. You can call it that. I use both those words. Don’t let it bother you.
