@cleyt973 yeah, 8 gen 3 has better peak performance but does not sustain it as well. 8 gen 2 slightly slower but more stable at that 90th percentile performance range vs 8 gen 3s peak.

If there was a way to bump that cpu to 100 percent on games at least like a featured but with cooling cellphone fan all i know its that the cpu on the s24 is 3400 on the 4xcortex ghz while on s23 3xcortex 3360 ghZ for some reason in the percent the s23 in the beginning is like 15 percent less than both phones gos disabled will make a jump even highter i test some games before and i can see a difference the bad thing is even though it doesn't trottled it just overheats a bit so it saves less battery overheats equal less battery and degradation gos is an app optmized to prevent overheating by just throttling while gaming gos Disabled with a fan cooler its magic and very satisfying

@@VelianSpeaksTech In order to prevent damage to the processor during long-term use, Samsung sometimes gets confused when the game booster is turned off or when a game that does not support game booster is entered or when there is a video call in the foreground, and every time the processor hits the temperature limit, the processor frequency drops by 1 level and eventually all performance cores are turned off.
It seemed like an optimization issue to me. S23U is completely optimized with its processor. It got a bunch of updates so far. S24U is at the beginning of its way. Samsung will fix it. I guess..
It shows that no matter the marketing around the vapour chamber, it is just words. The S24U performance could have been better, and even though this was an unrealistic test, it proved that the S24U needed to be better optimised. The 4nm v3 is a downgrade.
Thankfully, most people won't stress-test their phones like this, but the facts are the facts, and the S23U performed significantly better than the S24U, which is shocking. If you have an S23U, do not bother upgrading to the S24U for performance alone.
8Gen2 is a better developed and more efficient chip than the more powerful 8Gen3. Looking to the future, have people seen the early benchmark scores for the 3nm 8Gen4?. A 50% performance increase over 8 Gen3. Peak frequency of 4.0 Ghz also!.

Raw performance has very little do to with smooth and reliable day to day experience. I wish Samsung focused more on polishing the software.
Absolutely. 8gen3 at least dke now seems less optimised vs 8gen2. This is my 3rd 8gen3 device, Xiaomi 14 Pro, then OPPO Find X7 U and now the S24U.

Yes, that's true. That's why I love to use it. The more unoptimised, the harder for the phones, especially with the video call. This kills the phones.
@@VelianSpeaksTech You have a point, but it's just too much, unrealistically too much even to compare. That game is always bad, Genshin can be good enough with the better performing phones so in a theoretical comparison one can be better than the others in a usable/playable way. Also all the others use Genshin and for some strange reason S24U seems to be doing 45fps while Chinese phones are capable of 58-60fps. How is that happening I wonder?
Next video and not all same settings phones.. x7 ultra has bluetooth on. Etc. Why? And you should temps of battery. Cpu 60-70 celcius its normal, but most important its how heat battery. Sorry for my english. But this not fair test. And 5g vs 4g vs 3g...

Such a test sucks. At S24 Ultra you were practically in the city center. There were many cars there, etc., at S23 Ultra you went somewhere outside the city. Every player knows that the more objects to count, the worse the frame rate. Pointless test, I'm in favor of it. It doesn't lead to anything.
