I have S23 U and S24 U and waiting first uppdate.. S23 U gets year uppdate its very good but S24 U goes better near future i guess 🙂 then they push first big uppdate it see then..
It is so close that it looks like we are not getting a generation leaps of improvements... If you have S23 Ultra, there is no point to "upgrading" to S24 Ultra for sure!

@@fernandofonseca2033 And still games are only CPU bottlenecking, not GPU.
Genshin impact for example has the same frame rate on 8gen2 phones regardless of if you leave it on 880p or put it to 1440p after rooting the Phone.
Only at 4K it becomes a GPU bottleneck, rather than a CPU one.
So that the 8gen3 has a stronger GPU is sort of pointless when it will CPU bottneck at 50-60% GPU usage anyways.
@@fa14bi-78do u even know what cpu bottle neck means? At 1440p it doesn't bottleneck, it actually uses 100% gpu on 8gen 2 for 60fps And at 720p it uses 20% gpu of 8gen 3 for 60fps .
The Higher resolution and gfx will make it use more gpu but no genshin doesn't want to upgrade gfx and resolution, so blame genshin for low res and gfx bruh.

I love extreme stress tests like this. I like to know which phones can handle the most demanding circumstances.
Good comparsion. Because same nm processor draw more power but normal usage has more efficient a little bit. Probably most important man its the temps of battery, not front display. Thats why s24 u trottling early and faster than s23u and s24u has more area cooler. You should test battery temps (apps) and with this device measure temps. Thanks. ❤
S24 is beast, better in both cooling and performance
But it's drivers are not optimized. So for emulation the s23 still wins.
Lower surface temperature, 8:22 "running cooler" as you say is a about how efficient is the heat transfer from the SOC to the outer surface. So a cooler surface is not always a good thing, because we want the heat to escape as fast as possible.
I'm surprised that S24 Ultra throttles this much even though it has like 92% larger vapor chamber compared to S23 Ultra, I guess they need to make it 100% larger next year 😂
I think it's because the 8G3 chip runs hotter than the 8G2, and Samsung lowered the threshold for throttling for the 8G3 on the S24 Ultra.

I've had no issues with my 512g S24 Ultra.
My Note 8, 256g Note 10+ and my 256g S22 Ultra got a little warm but just a little while on wireless charging & watching a movie or something like that.
(I don't play games)
My S24 Ultra hasn't even gotten warm. It's just a powerhouse.
If you have a 23 Ultra? No need to upgrade but a 22 Ultra?
You'll notice a huge difference for the good. I got $800 for mine through my Carrier & the 512g for $1300-$800. Then I just paid the $500 difference to own it & have it unlocked.

BIG performance increases coming with 3nm 4.0Ghz 8Gen4 in S25 Ultra. 50% performance gains over 8Gen3 already in early benchmark tests, which is almost unbelievable.

To some extent, yes, I did a display test video a while ago. Check it to see how it's with my device.

you need to turn on performance mode for the oppo to release its peak performance, for samsung it does it automatically however the oppo you need to turn it on in battery settings

S24U is kind of like S23U with a cherry on top, nice to have but no real day to day difference
S24U is the best, hands down. 1st in max score, 1st in average , 1st in lowest score AND ran cooler than the rest. Absolute monster job for Samsung, really like the thermal management
