2002 Lexus IS300 bad faulty Radiator Cap leak replacement

Make sure the engine is cold when removing the radiator cap. I will recommend replacing only using the original cap from LEXUS TOYOTA DEALER.
PART NUMBER WAS CHANGED.
from OEM Toyota (16401-46610) Radiator Cap Sub-Assembly
to (New Part # 16401-30020)

Where you able to get the broken pieces out the radiator? I just noticed my spring fell apart on the radiator cap

I didn't mind about the pieces 🧩 the vehicle is running alright for about 7000 miles or so

@@gavrilovas1 same, I’ve probably put near 10k already. I changed my thermostat as soon as I dropped the broken pieces because it was stuck open. I don’t know if it was a coincidence, but it was pretty bad, so far so good tho.
