- In this video we've got a septic tank that hasn't been emptied for a long time and all their drainage is backed up so we get all that running. Also we've also got some block toilets in a school you won't believe what was blocking it, I don't know how they got it around the bend?
Please leave a like, a comment and please subscribe to help me make this channel as big as possible also if you could turn on the notification bell that would be amazing
Thank you.

2. OMG! That is a ton of backup. Seemed like an entire second tankful
There was definitely a lot
Lovely video.
I’ve never been out of the US, so I enjoy the scenery of other places. I appreciate you filming the houses and farms and backroads. I like seeing the towns too. May have to put a visit there on my bucket list. 😊
Glad you like it I like to try and get in some scenery where I can.
Love it! Fantastic. Your post production audio is slightly over amplified, almost clipping. Probably just needs the gain dropping very slightly to match the rest of the audio ❤👍🏻
If i can work out how to do it i will
@@Keep_itflowing haha - yeah easy for me to say I leave the other half to do the creative stuff and all the sound and video engineering! It’s a good job he knows what he’s doing 😂
@@bobradamus 😂il work it out somehow
don't think I've ever seen one so backed up before, it's as if it had been blocked for years.
where's the second half of the phone 🤔
The lady did say she had been telling her husband for months she thinks it was blocked
It was a calculator, the other half wasn't in the drain unless that half had made it through, I wouldn't be surprised it it shows up in a main line in a few weeks
@@Keep_itflowing He needs to start listening better!
he did ask us for a regular reminder for tank and to jet thru system so 🤞
🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃 choo chooo, the poop train is coming! 🤣
Choo Choo
You need to use a tree root cutter to get through that log.
😂
Shocking plumbing work on the second job. Council workers I suppose? Need rat control as well!
I guess it probably was and yes they are aware 👍🏻
could do with one those whip hoses with trigger control valve for the smaller jobs like that school
I do have a small jetting hose but the trigger control would be very handy
time to nag the boss! the perfect for small jobs like gulleys 👍
@@peteb3365 definitely would be
Great content ❤ watching all that water come through that drain on your first job proper Satisfaction 🌊🤗
How long did the first job take ?
Yeah no one likes that lane 🤬 😂😂
Keep up the good work 💪
Thank you, The first job only took about an hour, that lanes awful have you tried it this week while Charlton roads shut 😂 I will do
@@Keep_itflowing
Ah not that long then 💪
went down it last Sunday after finding out it was shut 🤦♂️ wasn't to bad though
Try it at rush hour 😂
@@philipbowen4162 apparently its open again but im not sure if its true yet
Awesome video! Fantastic job especially at the first site. You really helped those people. I don’t think anyone could have done it better!🤩👏👏👏🏆🏆🏆

Glad you liked it Thank you
That Grabber you used from the caretaker from TEMU looks a handy bit of kit do you have a link for it please
I don't have the temp link but search drain grabber on amazon they come straight up I brought one after this
🎉🎉😊
👍🏻
does you employer not mind you recording your jobs for your channel??? do they know
yeah he doesn't mind at all its a free bit of advertising for him as well
Why in the hell did you not jet the first drain? I was so frustrated that I skipped ahead to the second job! And when I say jet I mean with a turbo nozzle not just an open end on the hose!
I know looking back i should have done but at the time the water pressure was slow and i got bored of waiting for it doing it that way i could keep jetter running longer as it uses less water than if i was jetting
I would think that the guy that hired you to get it opened up, seen you just using the garden hose and not the Jetter,😮 could be saying that he could be doing it for himself and then saved money 💰, but he Hired you for the " Jetter Work " and not just the Garden Hose that was only used... So Far..... and the Jetter will use less water 💦 and more precise for getting it done and opened up and then off to Another Job... Bored or Not 🚫....
Tbh the way I work if a job can be done by the customer I don't mind them seeing how to do it if it helps them out in the future I would rather that then rip them off and pretend the job is harder than it is. Customers don't hire us to to jet unless they specifically ask us to, they hire us to unblock their drains, it isn't always necessary to jet every time.
I know looking back i should have jetted it but at the time the water pressure was slow so would have put a lot more time on the job, I know the jetter appears quicker but it can take half hour to fill the tank and it pumps out at 12 Gallons per minute a lot higher than a hose pipe so can empty it in no time at all. The jetter is always empty at the start of the jobs and drained at the end due to weight on the vans making them over loaded.
@@Keep_itflowing You should secure the water first and get it flowing in to the Jetter Water Tank and then Start with the Suction truck and then by the time you need to start the Jetter the tank is Almost Full.. The Company that I was working for, years ago that was the first thing that would happen is get the hose to the Spigot and then Start with Filling up the Water Tank and then we would look at what needs to happen and what we need and then the tank is getting full enough to use and yes especially since the water flow is not great.... and also we had a Water Faucet Splitter in case we needed water in both places and more hoses and the guy "The Boss " had about everything Already Figured out by the Tools that he had.... Already......
Notice some Rat droppings behind the School walls. They don't jump on that there?
They'd shut Schools down here for that
👍 yeah I spotted that I did tell the caretaker he said he had seen it as well and was dealing with it
Hello friend. I live in the USA, and I've come across some really old plumbing setups. I mean, like the mid to late 1800s from toilets to old cesspools, which are that old and still in use in rural areas of the Northeastern states where the homes are close to 250 years old or less. My question is, what are the oldest drains and fixtures that you've come across in your work?
I have definitely seen some old septic tanks there are plenty of them about, A lot of the drains I work on are victorian and tend to be salt glazed pipe.
Perhaps, just perhaps...if they showered just on a daily basis, the solides would go through.
Edit: please don't put grease down the waste, it will eventually clog!
👍
Wow that was like going back through the years at this house. All of dinners that ended up going down the throne and clogging the drain. I'm pretty sure I spotted some remains of the great grandparents 60th anniversary cake from 1977. Either that or some pork n beans. Hard to tell at this point. 😅
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
As an absolute amateur in the drainage business I wonder if it wouldn't have been much faster to just jet both lines from the manhole to the house and the other way to the tank? Seems like a lot of work to push the sewage manualy with a plunger or by the water from the house and break it down with a low pressure hose?
I know looking back i should have jetted it but at the time the water pressure was slow and i got bored of waiting for it doing it that way i could keep jetter running longer as it uses less water than if i was jetting
@@Keep_itflowing ok, I see. I was wondering if I missed something, why jetting would have not worked here...
@@craddocraddoc it would of worked perfectly if the water was a bit faster and i was more patient 🤣
all of the water savings of the eco toilets + some, used to unblock it, ha ha good customer for money again in 6 weeks, JAM, order a new car for the wife
the type of customers you want, we do need a new car
We don't put traps in laterals here in the U.S. No disrespect, just wondering why
Its an old fashioned thing to stop smells and rats
I'm quite surprised how close the tank is to the property.
Its surprising close this one
Some amount of back up in the 1st one, was like a torpedo coming out that pipe!
🤣🤣🤣
ha ha see the hairy knees have been unleashed upon the public 🤣
🤣🤣
we have used grabbers for years very handy
They definitely are I went straight out and brought one
Nice unblocks, did I see some wipes in the fist one 🤔 fat and wipes = blocked drains
100%it definitely does
Wow that first job I think its been backed up since forever! Great video .
The lady did say she has been telling her husband for months she thinks its blocked 😂
I think that first one still seems like it not flowing 100% tho
I don't think the falls are right on this one, also the line between the manholes seems to have a smaller pipe possibly only 3 inch
1. Customer needs to get to B&Q for some Envil. Or, some Green Gobbler from Amazon. Along with some drain sticks, in hopes of mitigating the grease
Or they can just leave it to block we don't mind 😂
@@Keep_itflowing T R U E
😂
Why do people pour fat down the drain ? Its one of the worst things u can do to ur pipes goes in liquid but turns to solid when it gets cold. People r there own worst nightmares when it comes to drains. This was a good one.
Yep and another disaster in the making is flushing wipes 👍🏼
I don't get why they do it still .
It’s inevitable, even rinsing you plates is still contributing to FOG buildup. Granted not pure fat going down but still long term same effects.
That is true you are never going to stop FOG Build up but people can help reduce it
@@Keep_itflowing Correct, that’s why nowadays PPM’s are required in 9/10 sites we visit. Can’t stop it but we can put preventative measures in place help. God us drainage engineers don’t get enough credit 😂😂
That hill at the end looks a bit of a rigmarole! 🙄
It always is 🤣
you work in a nice part of England
👍
Can we have the Temu link for the grabber please!!!!!🙏🏻👍🏼
He didn't give me one but I found one myself on amazon easy enough search "drain grabber" they come up
Google search flexible pickup tool.
👍
Great work on this, it was a big job mate.
Cheers
It must’ve smelled so ripe at the first house!
you get so use to it you can't smell it
usually its not to bad until you disturb it
Good work!😀
Thanks! 😄
Great video!!
Thank you
It needs jetted
👍
Nice Work
Thanks
Good video, but why don’t you use a Spade to break it up?
So first a spade and then water?
I agree, surely you would use less water
Good videos! You have some really narrow streets.
I know it was definitely thick
We definitely do have lots of narrow roads
We would probably be shocked if we only knew just how many people are ignorant of what grease does to plumbing!
I know it still amazes me
I’m thinking the house has to much fibre in they’re diet 😂
I think so
