    When I dig, I use a tarp to put the dirt on, or if its a small hole, a 5 gallon bucket.

    We call a "soak away" a "Leach field" here in the States. It's always interesting learning the different terms. I think flushable means that the plumber is *able* to get his or her wallet *flush* with money from people using them. 😂

    I blame a lot of these blockages on these super low flow toilets the old sewers where not designed to move it along with so little water. That & havent seen any corn for ratty in ur sewers. Great vid keep them coming. Its 75 here in NJ better then rain.

      Just before I watched this I was watching a video on a New York drain unblocker, working outside in a garden. The weather was the same though the rain was heavier in NY.

    • @stevem1081
      @stevem1081 3 месяца назад +1

      Yes, super low flow does cause issues, even extra build up in sink drains. That's why most main drains are now 3 inch, where older ones were 4 inch, although many I see here are 6 inch. One thing I do to help, about once a week, I go to the furtherest drain,(in my case, it happens to be the kitchen sink) I let both sides fill up and pull the plugs, that high flow pushes any items down to the city. I started doing this at a local restaurant that kitchen drains often got clogged, and in the last year, no more problem.

      With the use of wet wipes, the system is to old to prosses them in the waste. At the very least, they have clean bums.

    How deep do you have to go to be below the frost line in your area? It seems like England doesn't get crazy cold during winter so my guess is your less than a meter for most plumbing?

    • @Keep_itflowing
      @Keep_itflowing  3 месяца назад +1

      drainage doesn't tend to freeze in this country so isn't an issue there probably is a measurement but iv never heard of one, tbh most work I do the drain is always already there and we are replacing a damaged part so the depth has to be what is already there to start with
