Doctor Who - Season 1/Series 14: ‘Space Babies’ - Official Intro (Episode 1.01/14.01)

- Season 1 (or Series 14 - whatever your preference may be!) has kicked off its run with Episode 1 - ‘Space Babies’, bringing with it this new extended and modified title sequence!
For the first time in a long time, the episode begins with the title sequence right off the bat, although this time the intro visuals begin earlier, in time with the ‘sting’ section of the theme, meaning that the visuals & theme are slightly out of sync (almost bringing to mind how badly synced some of the intros were during Peter Capaldi’s run as the 12th Doctor, something I’m sure some of us wish we could forget lol!)
This is more than made up for by the brand new extended sequence that bridges the actor credits and logo sections of the intro. Now featured is a longer scene depicting the TARDIS flying out of a nebula and into an asteroid field, complete with multiple planets in the background, as it hurtles towards the time vortex.
It’s here where you can see that they really listened to the fans and made some changes; inside the vortex, a brilliant new, modified logo emerges, far more animated than what we’ve had for the previous specials, now with what appears to be regeneration energy swirling around it!
Following on from this altered logo, the main theme itself has been extended that bit longer, overall making this intro a huge improvement and step up!

Honestly, it's a massive improvement over the 60th titles (including the logo). And I think the reason why it was out of sync is because the opening part of the title sequence, where the theme sting is supposed to be, was cut (see REALTIME Studios Wild Blue Yonder VFX Breakdown).
Its a good upgrade to an already great intro 😎 Although the logo goes for a bit too long 😐

I think they still had enough time to add Ncuti's face into the title sequence. The only NuWho Doctors that have had their faces in their title sequences are Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi, since most of the classic Doctor's had their faces in their title sequences.

I know I'll have insults but I stopped DW because of Disney, not because "it's woke naw blablabla" it could be a good debate but on Internet, lol. I just can't follow these new stories it's too... idk how to explain, too cartoon since they use the Toymaker/Edge of Universe card. And it's sad because 15th is beautiful haha... So I'll continue but with comic or audio drama, I can't wait to read the upcoming comic with 15th VS Cybermen for example. But TV series... it's over for me.
But it's good to see this opening a little longer.
