Thank you so much for flagging! And apologies for the incorrect info in the video. Nice to know that the Immortal wolf ability does stop ageing after all.
That's pretty cool. But I found you gotta be careful about the raw meat your werewolf Sim brings back if you are living with non-werewolves. My werewolf sim would go hunting and come back with a couple pieces of raw meat. He'd eat one and I'd have him put the rest in the fridge so it wouldn't spoil. But then like immediately after, my other Sim who isn't a werewolf would go to the fridge to get a snack when they are hungry and they always tend to grab the raw meat then get upset/sick for eating raw meat.
@@bloodwolfgaming9269 I always found it really odd how sims would choose to eat foods that disgust them, without any food shortage, and then complain about it afterwards. A normal person would just stop after the first bite

The raw meat has "interesting" effects if non-werewolves eat it. They'll get angry and go all Gordon Ramsay with a moodlet that says "IT'S RAWWWWWWW!!!!" So funny! Also, werewolf toddlers and children can eat the raw meat with no problems so it is an easy way to feed kiddos when money is tight. I like the hunting perk, tbh and a lot of my werewolves have developed the carnivore temperment which means they have to eat it.
It also pairs well with the Simple Living lot trait since it provides a source of meat besides the grocery store or needing to sacrifice and wait for livestock meat. We'll just pretend the mystery steaks are venison. The downside is that it counts it as both an ingredient and a complete dish, so human Sims will regularly pull raw steaks out as "leftovers". When paired with wolf nap, grooming and marking territory, hunting allows a werewolf to live entirely off the land in a very animal-like fashion.
There is something I've noticed after unlocking the Transformation Mastery perk on my werewolf. The longer I kept him in his wolf form, he actually started getting the Bored moodlet whenever full moons were approaching. Said something along the lines of "There is no real excitement to it due to them being in their beast form all the time anyway." or something along those lines.
Worth noting with cursed bite just biting someone is usually seen as a negative. But if you are friends with a sim you can ask them if they want to be a werewolf and they will hold out their arm and let you bite them for the curse. Its just a neat little extra way to play if you don't want to be some crazy werewolf that bites everyone but you still want to expand your werewolf family. Also you cannot bite other occults for obvious reasons.

I personally like that you have to unlock the ability to control your transformation as, if your Sim is new to being a werewolf [such as being bit or being a teenager experiencing their first transformation], they would naturally not be able to control it well. Having it unlocked by not scaring another Sim while rampaging/during a full moon makes sense to me
My werewolves aging stop with immortality abilities even with turning aging on. Other normal sims age normally but for werewolves with this ability, their aging stop like those of vampires.
@@ngominh259 Werewolves are better. Their ability make them completely invulnerable from everything. Even using violence mod can't kill them. They just simply can't die, just as description, they live as the moon stay around the earth.
@@BkExtremis True, plus if you wanna max out a Vampire they gotta sleep in coffins or be tense during daytime (negated somewhat by Deadened Emotions, which gives you a permanently poker face Vampire), and that's not counting the fact that they can't eat, ever. Werewolves can still be normal sims. And they can generate next to no Fury whatsoever with the right temperaments (for me I have both the Mark of the Wolf and Mark of the Forest, which probably stack and help reduce Fury gains by a shit ton) and Refined Lupine reward trait. I practically generate no Fury, but take it with a grain of salt because I haven't seen if Vicious Howl increases it.
@@ngominh259 That's why I love werewolves more than vampires. They can enjoy quality meal. They can still retain their human characteristics, while vampires become a walking dead emotionless beings.
@@BkExtremis Let's hope they overhaul Aliens & Mermaids soon. There are tons of potential for cross-occult references & career improvements, especially with water being essential, the Luna Fish being something the Mermaids should definitely know about, and the Secret Agent career / Covert Operator branch of the Military career not having anything great to do with Aliens or Strangerville, or anything awesome at all.
I'm just so glad Werewolves have Legacy of the Lycan that allows simmers to dump power points into it. Really wish Spellcasters and Vampires will be updated soon with perks like this. The Spellcaster ability panel literally has a gaping hole for at least 2 more perks already. The only thing left is to expand the Vampires' ability panel and let them have a new ability to turn extra Power Point into satisfaction point. I recognize that Mermaids, Aliens, Plant Sims and Ghosts are getting kicked in the head here, but it'd be so cool to see the top 3 occults get updates to be more well-rounded. Extra power points should be turned into something beneficial. Also I notice a funny thing: With Lunar Howl, you can change your wolf's temperament and stop Fury from increasing, like at all (with the addition of the Refined Lupine trait in my case). It's like your Werewolf becomes almost unable to rampage. With Vampires, you can let them have Deadened Emotions. It feels like leveling up your Vampire & Werewolf allow them to attain nirvana & be free of extreme negative moodlets. Pretty cool of the teams to think of this. When you've achieved power, you stop being influenced by emotion. I hope in future update there'll be a tome/diary that addresses this cool point. Like the Grand Master of a Vampire clan and the Apex of a opposite Werewolf pack turned out to be just super mild-mannered & relaxed sims that want nothing to do with fighting, and just want to work on some ancient totem/artifact together to end the feud between the Vamps and the Spellcasters/Werewolves.
@@AgentAsteriski Try it out, lol. I have 3 sisters in my household living together, all leading their own factions of occults. One is an Apex leader of the Wildfangs who is a white wolf with white eyes, blood-red patches on her hands and throat, and 6 tomoe patches round her chest. Super into Gardening and jogging. Another is an overmaxxed Spellcaster that occasionally does yoga and goes fishing. The youngest is a Grand Master Vampire that loves bingewatching TV and cooking. All 3 of them live in the same house and goof off like puppies all the time.
Yes, I'll add my "no aging = immortal" observance to this catalog of useful comments.... I currently have MCCC set all sim life stages to just 1 day each = Pregnancy to Death = 8 days --- Rory the werewolf has seen many 8-day generations in her sim lifetime and she's *still* a young adult😂
Hunting gives you a positive moodlet and there's that temperament that requires it too. And storytelling. My wolf is a wild animal! He's going to eat raw steak versus a bowl of cereal lol
The scavenge ground has come in so handy, I decided to cure my werewolf, although no rush. Very cool to see the abilities so we can see what everything does and be able to pick before we find out it's so not what we want. Thank you!

Imagine this: Your sim can use charisma to get loans from a sim. Then ask money for a compaign when in the politician career. Then scare them away with your werewolf abilities. Lots of income per sim.
I love how they use a doggie chew toy for the tug-of-war 😆 Also, aww... Lily Zhu took the Immortal Wolf ability so she could rebuild a relationship with her vampire cousins...
Whenever I have a new werewolf and I unlock the Veracous Hunger perk, I go to a community lot I never touch and eat everything. Boosts your rank up decently quick and you can do it while rampaging
Thank you so much for making a video about the werewolf abilities. I have the werewolf pack but haven't really played with it as I prefer watching videos so I knie what to do. Your video is super informative and I now have a much better idea of the abilities to choose. Thanks 😀
I saw some one on Social media have a werewolf devour a dolphin in island living… I have no idea if it was photoshop or if you can actually do that I’m too scared to test it.
Lets not forget: its not an ability but you can easily increase your handiness skill by letting your werewolf destroy objects and let them repair it afterwards. Rinse and repeat.
Ya I feel like they took out any of the negatives and just put in only positives which sucks did the same thing to spell casters I liked the balance between two it made game play more interesting.
Y’all, the temperaments ARE the negatives- Some of the perks are for those who wanna be more like the collectives and never rampage (which you will eventually anyways) and some for those who don’t care about rampaging. The fury IS the downside, you can’t function normally if you get all the necessity temperaments. You guys are saying there’s no weaknesses when they’re are-
I want to add that, while I can't 100% confirm this, I'm pretty sure that when you attempt to unlock transformation mastery that it includes not scaring any pets in addition to not scaring people. I managed to keep my werewolf well out of sight for several rampages, but only unlocked this skill after taking extra care to stay away from my Sim's pets.
I lock my werewolf either outside or in a certain room when he starts to have high fury. You cant lock doors on the actual rampage but I usually take care of some of his simple need and if I have enough time I lock him in a room with nothing to break or just outside and outside he just territory marks and scavenges over and over again. Pretty effective 👍. Also when I got the territory mark he just spontaneously peed randomly and it was hilarious
I May be ridiculously late, but, you can also use the will to resist skill to get transformation mastery. It’s super easy. If your about to rampage, stay in a space where there’s not many people. I like to lock my sim in a room or something. Then try to use the skill. If it works, ez transformation mastery and you can transform whenever you wanna. :)
Also the curse bearer tells you the kind of occult sim it is cuz you cant turn a occult sim into a werewolf lets say the sim was already an alien it would say “This sim is already an alien” and it tells me what occult sim they are and it’s cool
I just discovered that the meat (or mushroom if your sim is a vegetarian) can be used as an offering to spirits. It's very handy if you don't want to craft knife blocks every time you take a paranormal investigator gig.
I feel like the "Hunt for Food" option was the closest PG rated thing they could implement for werewolf roleplay. As we all know, werewolves are universally known to be cannibalistic.
The Sims: Furries....uh I mean werewolfs... actually seems to have a lot of interesting content and new powers, I might actually consider this one, at least it doesn't seem to be a total cluster like the recent wedding pack.
This is a late comment but when I get a werewolf I immediately get them to transformation mastery and turn them into a werewolf if you just go to moonwood mill and mark territory somewhere not on a lot it will up your sims werewolf experince and doubles it while rampaging so that's what I do and I don't lose hygiene.
One thing that wasn't addressed is whether the Natural Healing power affects injuries from other packs, like the Dazed moodlet from getting zapped on Robotics Workbench, the injuries you can get from the woodworking bench, or injuries and poisons from exploring the Jungle. the Robotics one happens way too often, even at high skill, and lasts a ridiculous 3 hours. It would be great if that power could knock it down to an hour.
Absolutely Great! (But say - who could ever WANT to resist icecream?? O.O *scratcheshead*) After watching the video I have to think, this time EA really put a lot of effort and thoughts into this Pack ... after the Desaster with the Wedding Story Pack! ;) Not sure if I will play a Werewolf soon, but who knows? Although your Video is - as always! - very helpful for any newbie on the Werewolf-Trail. Keep on that awsome work!
I like all of the need boosting pup powers since you get xp just by satisfying your needs and I would give hunter a 3 because it's a good way to get everyone food if the household are all wolves and if your wolf has the carnivore temperament it's basically required
it does in a weird way tho, unlike vampires it resets the age meter every day so you'll always at the beginning of the lifestate (so for me young adult is 94 days, will go down one but instantly reset the next day or so
If you want to fulfill your werewolf's social achievements you need to have him or her start out as a tame wolf which is a lot harder done than said and it will be hard enough without actually trying to build them up to environmentally dangerous beasts first. I like werewolves, but spellcasters get more benefits from gems than werewolves do when not selling them off for money. Eating Raw meat does replenish a werewolf's hunger better than simply devouring objects despite the devouring action being more fun to watch.
Great video! Though I seem to have come across something in my playthrough. During the full moon my werewolf sim was able to turn someone, even though they didn’t have the cursed bite ability. The interaction is called full moon turn I believe. Also, my werewolf sims can still ask others if they wish to be turned, however so far none have accepted the offer, due to being to low in relationship it seems, so I am unsure what would happen if they accept as of yet. I am unsure if these are bugs or not as the cursed bite interaction doesn’t appear. I am also curious to see if they can inflict werebies on a sim, even if they don’t have this ability.
22:32 I have to disagree and think werewolf mastery should be an unlockable power, especially for sims who became werewolves by being bitten. When You have the beast inside of you whether through a bite or being born with it, the beast will always be wild and vicious. That being said it will obviously be hard to control at first. Especially if you were bitten, having an uncontrollable wild entity inside of You fighting for dominance of your body. But within time you'll learn to control it and work with it. Kinda like the relationship between Eddie and Venom. Also like in the underworld movies. Newborn or recently bitten Lycans can only transform during a full moon and it's slow and painful, while elder lycans can transform at will and it's painless for them. Also in some cases if you don't learn how to take control of the beast, the beast will take control of you and you'll go feral and be stuck in werewolf form forever
Description says Enhanced Smell allows werewolves to smell emotions, but i can't find the option to do it. I was looking for an option similar to alien's "Emphatize" or Servo's "Scan for emotions" on the social menu. Maybe i'm looking on the wrong place?
Ooh I may have an answer for you Darchy. I think this relates to the scent they give off, and the general smell interaction will reveal this. For example I found that flirty sims often gave off a pink scent, and angry sims a red scent. So I think this is what the description was pointing to.

My werewolves aging stop with immortality abilities even with turning aging on. Other normal sims age normally but for werewolves with this ability, their aging stop like those of vampires.
And Spellcaster, if they drink the Potion of Rejuvenation & Immortality.
I want to correct 15:45 Immortal Wolf; my Apex Wolf has not aged at all since attaining this ability.
My aging in game is on FYI
Same! Mine hasn't aged at all
I'm just so glad Werewolves have Legacy of the Lycan that allows simmers to dump power points into it.
I think I just found my next household idea in a 2 year old comment, lmao
Never into the occult pack before but after watching this I kinda wanna play it
Hunting gives you a positive moodlet and there's that temperament that requires it too. And storytelling. My wolf is a wild animal! He's going to eat raw steak versus a bowl of cereal lol
But not so wild that he'd forgo a plate of course
The scavenge ground has come in so handy, I decided to cure my werewolf, although no rush. Very cool to see the abilities so we can see what everything does and be able to pick before we find out it's so not what we want. Thank you!
My favourite is tunnelling, because it saves so much travel time.
I've been waiting for this video since the pack came out! I'm so happy to learn all of this important info! I've been struggling so hard with my Single werewolf Dad that I LEGIT stopped and told myself not to play that family till Petey made a video about the pack!
Thank you so much Petey! I can't even express how happy I am that you made this video! You are the best! I'll be sharing this video with all of my friends for sure! I feel like I learned so much and now i have so many ideas! Thank you again Petey!
Cya Later!
Awe shucks thanks Calypso! Really appreciate the super kind comment and support, you are too kind! Hope that you're going well :) Cya later!
I’ve been looking forward to this
Super speed is my favorite perk along with tunneler. Since Moonwood mill is basically open world and they’ll literally walk home from anywhere, super speed and tunneler are so useful for my impatient self
Imagine this:
Your sim can use charisma to get loans from a sim.
Then ask money for a compaign when in the politician career.
Then scare them away with your werewolf abilities.
Lots of income per sim.
😂😂😂😂
I love playing with homeless sims and weareolves seems to fit that game play style really well
To be honest. I think the hunting ability is good for story telling. it gives that wild vibe and you can be in the forest camp for example vibe.
I love how they use a doggie chew toy for the tug-of-war 😆
Also, aww... Lily Zhu took the Immortal Wolf ability so she could rebuild a relationship with her vampire cousins...
People say this pack is bad but it’s literally the perfect homeless challenge build. Love it!
Was waiting for this video! Go over the temperaments next, please :)
Wish there was a link to the pale blonde sim you turned into a werewolf because his aesthetic is amazing and he looks fun to use!
Agreed
I literally just started watching your videos a few days ago and i learned so many things i didn’t know about, you definitely have a new follower!
Thank you so much for the support Nicarra :)
The zoom ins are always hilarious with these types of videos
Whenever I have a new werewolf and I unlock the Veracous Hunger perk, I go to a community lot I never touch and eat everything. Boosts your rank up decently quick and you can do it while rampaging
was wanting to level up my werewolf quick to test some stuff
thank you king/queen/your highness
Can we just acknowledge how funny the description for the moodlet "smells like vampire" is? It's, "Ugh, is there a walking corpse nearby?!"
Bought this yesterday, I appreciate the upload!
Thank you so much for making a video about the werewolf abilities. I have the werewolf pack but haven't really played with it as I prefer watching videos so I knie what to do. Your video is super informative and I now have a much better idea of the abilities to choose. Thanks 😀
Awe shucks thanks for the kind comment Samantha :) Really appreciate it!
I’ve been waiting for this one!🙌 turn it uuuuppp ✊😤
I know one thing. The werewolves scares the crap out of all the other Sims. I never seen so many scared Sims. 😂😂 And actually it's fun.
I saw some one on Social media have a werewolf devour a dolphin in island living… I have no idea if it was photoshop or if you can actually do that I’m too scared to test it.
And apparently chickens from Cottage Living
Good to know. I've only tried it with bunnies, which didn't work.
Lets not forget: its not an ability but you can easily increase your handiness skill by letting your werewolf destroy objects and let them repair it afterwards. Rinse and repeat.
I didn’t like this pack at first but as I watched gameplay of it and the abilities It’s starting to grow on me
Most of those abilities are just simply lazy perks.
I was hoping that they have sort of customisation way of bouging just like vampires.
I agree. I hoped that they'd have a skill tree where the werewolves would have to choose a weakness after then gain a certain amount of abilities.
hunting and night vision are lazyyyy
Ya I feel like they took out any of the negatives and just put in only positives which sucks did the same thing to spell casters I liked the balance between two it made game play more interesting.
Y’all, the temperaments ARE the negatives-
Some of the perks are for those who wanna be more like the collectives and never rampage (which you will eventually anyways) and some for those who don’t care about rampaging. The fury IS the downside, you can’t function normally if you get all the necessity temperaments. You guys are saying there’s no weaknesses when they’re are-
It’s neat how EA knows that werewolves and vampires are natural enemies
Finally Petey! Love your vídeos ♥️
Oooh thanks for that amazing added tip FelisRin! :)
i cant wait for a tvdu gameplay. if i can’t make a hybrid for klaus mikaelson, i’m just gonna have to search for whatever mod i can
I lock my werewolf either outside or in a certain room when he starts to have high fury.
What are your observations on fated mates sentiment? My sim got it when she flirted with Rory the first time..
Great video, needed this! Thank you so much ❤
Thank you for the kind comment Rayana!
My favorite is the one where you dig the tunnels I thought that one was pretty cool I also like the immortal one
i can see all the therians playing this pack. :) and i love how ur sims can do qauds! while a werewolf
Very good video as always Petey, very detailed and useful 👍
Thank you for the kind comment Riel!
It bothers me is they don't have tails...
Maxis gives us werewolves.
Werewolves look like cats without tails.
Lazy asf if you ask me. Ima mod the hell out of this.
I think it should be a lockable ability because in werewolf movies, they have to learn to take control of when they transform, and when they don’t.
the sped up werewolf running is so funny 😭😭😭
I feel like the "Hunt for Food" option was the closest PG rated thing they could implement for werewolf roleplay. As we all know, werewolves are universally known to be cannibalistic.
The Sims: Furries....uh I mean werewolfs... actually seems to have a lot of interesting content and new powers, I might actually consider this one, at least it doesn't seem to be a total cluster like the recent wedding pack.
One of the Temperamants requires raw meat so the Hunting ability is kind of crucial for that!
I’ve been waiting for this video
3:52 the lady in the chair was like "nope I'm out"
Nice Mod, but the Sims look weird in theyre Werewolf form.
Maybe there's gonna be a shapeshifter pack one day
not any weirder than previous werewolves
I cant wait to play this game pack, my only real gripe is that the wolves look too cutesy and have no tails.
pretty sure immortal does stop you from aging up
it does in a weird way tho, unlike vampires it resets the age meter every day so you'll always at the beginning of the lifestate (so for me young adult is 94 days, will go down one but instantly reset the next day or so
3:30 haha 😄 I do that too cuz I can’t destroy my enemies stuff cuz it will get me kicked out of the Wildfangs.
IT WOULD BE DOPE IF WE HAD A HYBRID ABILITY BLENDING WOLF AND VAMP
I didn't know I needed that video!
Thx Pete, great video.
Thank you for the kind comment Reece :)
Can you use a spellcaster to turn someone into a piece of furniture or an inanimate object and then have a werewolf eat them
If you want to fulfill your werewolf's social achievements you need to have him or her start out as a tame wolf which is a lot harder done than said and it will be hard enough without actually trying to build them up to environmentally dangerous beasts first.
I like werewolves, but spellcasters get more benefits from gems than werewolves do when not selling them off for money.
Eating Raw meat does replenish a werewolf's hunger better than simply devouring objects despite the devouring action being more fun to watch.
This pack is fun but god merciful did they invite "Cats" production team to work on werewolf look ffs?
You can remove any "uneeded" items in your house with the perks. No toilet needed, no bed, no shower, free up room for fun stuff.
One of my favorite expansion packs. Just don’t like how my werewolf keeps getting beat down in fights even with all the abilities
You have to level up the fitness skill
@@VictoriaTraducciones level 10 still getting stomped out by Greg 😭
@@iconickworld975 that's odd, must be a glitch 🤔
How do you get all the abilities though and how do you earn ability points
@@linseyvanderm4758 you have to do werewolf activities. For me going out to hunt helped me fill it faster
I'm really curious if you can have a werewolf wizard or vampire, probably not the latter, but would be cool if they took inspiration from Underworld.
Oh wow. Am I the first to comment and like? 🥳 It's a great guide ❤️ thanks pete! I love werewolves 😅
Aww thank you Rie :D
Been waiting for this!!!!
Is it just me, but I feel like Wolf Nap restores energy faster than an un-upgraded at times.
I love werewolves! Can werewolves die from anger?
The most I know is, if you have the immortal werewolf trait, you can't die from anything, aging, drowning, etc
Imagine the sims 4 werewolves update in werewolf customization and creation will be added about new rabbit as werewolf with rabbit ears coming soon
