@@catwacatwa KDE Plasma did the work for me, but it doesn't look exactly like Windows 7, it's a good imitation tho. I prefer to use Linux over a custom Windows 10 because I do not want to cope with Microsoft's unnecesary software and end of support.
Windows 7 was the first os and computer that I ever used in my life. I remember using windows 7 in my old school with 1 computer in my class and a big computer room with windows 7. I remember hearing that startup sound that made me happier as a kid.
@@micromachinesbsc1629 We had a laptop with Windows XP on it. A Dell Inspiron 6400. It no longer works but I would like to fix it at some point. On my current main computer I use Windows 98 Second Edition.
Fun fact: when I was using Windows 10 I used the Win 7 legacy backup tool because the Win 10 version doesn't allow you to just press a button and do a backup, you need to setup a schedule which is impossible if your backup drive isn't always connected to the system (this was the case for me). Nowadays I use Fedora and just rsync my stuff when I feel like it.
Windows 11 Guide: "We put our fingers in our ears so that we could not listen to you anymore. Ahhh, much better. We created Windows 11 to monitor you constantly, to check up what you're doing. Windows 7 was amazing. It looked clean, it was made properly (like seriously, since Windows 8 we had 2 settings programs), easy to use, and was fast, even on an HDD!
Nowadays, I still feel sad about why this perfect system had to be replaced. If more programs supported it, it would still be my main operating system to this day, and I would use it all the time. I used Windows 7 for a long time, and I didn't encounter as many errors and nonsense as here on Windows 10. I think it looks much nicer and the menu is much more transparent than on Windows 10 and 11. It's also a shame that on Windows 10 or 11 you can't set it to look 100% like Windows 7. That Aero transparent look was really nice.
KDE Plasma is a completely different Linux based operating system and it only LOOKS LIKE the AERO look of Windows 7, but only the AERO look. Even the menu items of the entire system and the appearance of the icons have not changed. I think the look of Windows 7 can only be found in the Windows 7 operating system itself. I think the look of Windows 7 cannot be 100% imitated. By the way, I am very happy that the support for Windows 7 has been extended.
RUclips should keep recommending your videos. Too underrated!. Nice vid anyway. I installed Windows 7 professional on a VM a month ago, Windows 7 was Microsoft's final OS that was really good :(.
I use Windows 11 right now and while it isn’t as smooth as Vista-10, it looks very modern compared to 10, although I’ll admit I didn’t think it looked that modern when when I first saw it.
I would if they completely updated it with the latest security features of Windows 11 because using a 14 year old OS is probably not a good idea even if it's getting updates.
Windows 7 was pretty great. I feel like 10 is also good, but it has the first signs of the downfall of Windows as an OS that values user experience. Windows 11 seems like the natural continuation. When they stop updates, I don't know if I'll just upgrade to 11 or try out Linux on my main machine.
I still use win 7 on ryzen 5 2600 for basic application and i think this is better than windows 11 or 10. I know this os can't run all programs but most of it still does. Now microsoft made windows focuses on quantity rather than quality.... this company try made version's like mac os or linux...

@JigaTech I mean, I would too, but not on a primary system due to there being some security holes and isn't updated at all anymore since extended support also ended earlier this year and our best bet for updates is legacy update. Sure, older Windows OSes are significantly more properly built but they're now outdated and using them as a primary system OS is not a good idea as your more valuable to malware attacks and software support for the OSes are slowly going away except, mypal browser and legacy update which even they mention that the OSes are only being held up by them and they still shouldn't be used as a primary Operating System. I am planning to get an old computer that I can multiboot Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8.1 and maybe 10. They are actually all my favorite Windows OSes. Back to then main point with all the gathered info is: Older Windows OSes are no longer supported and shouldn't ever be used a primary Operating System anymore and they're only purpose now is for use on VMs and get them destroyed by malware, or like me, put them on an old pc for nostalgia and playing around with like seeing how well the modern web works on em and stuff. If you want a safe and supported Microsoft Windows OS, go for Windows 10 or 11 and not use Windows 7 as a primary system. That's all I have to say, sorry if it's a lot.
Everything you did in this video is wrong. 1. I never used Vista I went straight from XP to 7 2. I did not buy any Windows copy I always pirated and burned it to a DVD 3. I never do upgrade option I back every file up to data partition and format the Windows partition 6. I never had a product key and there is a skip option so I click that. Later I disable Windows Update so it does not count the days for activation/run a Windows Activator included in the ISO/from torrent 7. I never use a Windows 7 edition lower than Ultimate 8. Only thing I do in personalize is change theme to classic mode for better performance 9. Only reason to use Internet Explorer is to download Google browser 10. Who tf uses Windows Media Center use Media Player Classic or VLC 11. I would go back to Windows XP because 7 slowed down my PC and I will blame it on 7 cuz XP works flawlessly
Meanwhile i am stuck on Windows XP until 2022 lol 🤣🤣🤣. My family never upgraded on Windows 7. Not even in 2013. We just used XP until 2022. In 2022 i get Windows 8.1. My current hardware cannot run Windows 10 better because it's underpowered
I personally would not like Windows Vista being upgraded to later versions or earlier versions on a computer. I agree that Vista isn't a living thing. Sure 7 may retain Vista-ish features, but it still doesn't completely feel like Vista. I love Vista because of the graphical aesthetics and it's games like Purble Place. We Muslims ask Allah for forgiveness for deceased loved ones. I didn't personally like the upgrade to 7, but I prefer the vice versa and upgrade from 2000 or XP. Also, on the other PLUS side, you didn't bully me for loving Windows Vista for the reasons that it is discriminated in society.
