Your design projects are so amazing and unique! It's really inspiring tbh. As a mass communication student who wants to pursue a degree in graphic design soon, your videos have taught me a lot about what graphic design students usually do, all of these tips about portfolio and etc. Really appreciate it! ❤️
Don't pursue graphic design. These people just selling themselves to make living. Just showing fancy stuff to lure students to watch their content. Reality is really opposite. You will die with frustration you will get in graphic design. There is no scope in near future. Rather go with UI UX. It's more customer centric rather than posting no sense design. Consider this option.
As a graphic design student, I wanna be able to build a really strong portfolio that showcases my work in best way possible, you have no idea how helpful your video is to to. Thank you so so much for all the tips and pointers, I now have a really good understanding of what to focus on in my portfolio.
WOW, you are incredibly talented! I'm a new graphic design student, so while I've been creating on my computer for many years, I'm still relatively new in the world of design and actually applying techniques that bring designs together. You're extremely inspiring, I hope one day I can present work that's even half as good as yours.
I’ve done so many branding projects like this till now in my class but never knew how to put it together. Thank you so much for this 💜. You’re such an amazing artist 😍
I don't know why utube recommend this video after 1year man... it's too good ur works and portfolio is also too good. I have many designs and portfolio also, but i don't know how to organize them properly. It will help me alot thanks.. Appreciation from India
Hi, I'm an advertising student and aspirant graphic designer, your projects are so amazing and this tips for making portfolio are so simple and sorted. Like I've been wtching many videos on youtube to get a proper guide to make my portfoilio and many of the videos confused me. But after watching this video, I think I can now work properly on my skills, my projects as well as on my portfolio. Thank you so much for making this video. 😊💖✨
Wow! I'm so, so impressed by the way you lay out your work. Your keen attention to detail and organization really comes through and you have some really beautiful work. Thanks so much for sharing!
I took a graphic design certificate from Coursera and I completed the certification but I felt like I didnt learn anything. That the projects they had were very simplistic. And looking at this video definitely proof what I felt. I didnt learn anything at all. Thank you for this video.
It's kinda the same in many school, graphics design is a loooot of personal work on the side, there are many project ideas on the net if you need, pretty sure you have good basics and can get even better and create a nice portfolio! Let's go mate
Girl... this is such an inspiration and SO well done. I literally aspire to have the talent and creativity that you do. This video made my day. YOU ARE AMAZING
I really do not know how to stumble upon your channel, but your are skilful designer, much like a Modern and fun designer! i love all the designs, but coming from the user experience research side, I would give your last UI project 1000/100!
I just thought of ways on how to make my life turn around, make money as a student to compensate my school expenses and help my family in terms of financial so I immediately jumped into graphic designing. Graphic designing still seems kinda complicated to me considering that I'm new to this stuff and frankly I know I'm not that creative enough to be a graphic designer. What makes it even more difficult is that I'm no good when it comes to art, but as they say if you never try, you will never know. Making me realize that the cost or risks it would take will be worth it someday, if you just take it seriously. Watching your vids encourage me to become passionate about graphic designing and make me wanna learn it. I'm currently an Accountancy student wanting to learn new stuffs.
Im a second year graphic design student, and this video really gave me alot if valuable insight on creating a portfolio and especially the quality, i really love ur designs and concepts they are so beautifully crafted and executed, and aesthetic as well! ☺️
Impressive and helpful. Actually i was having trouble of how to showcase my portfolio for my designs and creativity. This really helps a lot. Thank you so much ma'am. Truly appreciated.
I'm an IT turned Graphic Designer (PS is the only tool I know how to use) and is planning to find another opportunity somewhere so I started watching videos how to make Portfolios, but seeing how you make yours and the skillset you have I just realized that I'm really a novice in everything related to Graphic Design 😂
amazing. i’m a second year graphic design student. i’ve been feeling a bit lost in my “style”. for some reason this video really calmed and inspired me to just keep on working. thank you
Hi Dena. I glad to find another female graphic designer to share tutorial and helpful tips like you on RUclips, and also a Vietnamese, I'm so proud of you. As a graphic design student in Vietnam (because graphic design is a new major in Vietnam, so many of the universities in here don't have the proper knowledge of graphic design), I learn so many design skills and knowledges on RUclips. Thank you for sharing this tips about portfolio and many helpful contents ❤️❤️❤️
Your design project is amazing! The entire portfolio design is just clean and eye-catching! Thank you for all the tips, I am making my portfolio and I have 0 idea on how to design it
Thankyou for this video, it gave me some idea of how to recreate my current portfolio. In my last year of uni I was feeling overwhelmed and my creativity just seemed to halt, as result my portfolio was just bland and static. You’ve inspired me to give it another go.
I'm new in the Graphic Design industry and I feel like this is the most inspiring video/information that I've Gaines in the past year! Your tips are so great I want to print them out so I remember to look up to them. I aspire your creativeness and design process - you really are an inspiration!
Very inspiring! I've been working for a few years now and Im ready to rebrand my own portfolio. Im more fired up to do so because of your video, thank you!
I like how well thought out and helpful your tips are. They are different than the constant things everyone is saying on RUclips. Also nice design work and good luck in your career.
Even if it's year ago, this is my second time watching your tutorial and l can say l now have insight on portfolios and how to create one. Thank you Dena☺
Your video just popped on my RUclips so I decided to watch it and get some inspiration to create my own portfolio. More than that I just loved the way you communicate... you seem calm and humble. =) It was equally pleasant seeing your projects. You are organized and know exactly how to show your work. Thank you for it xox!
I’m getting into my design degree, yet im so encouraged just look at your portfolio. I personally really appreciate your tips and your RUclips channel ❤❤
Would love to see where your professional journey takes you. And do you have mentors in design? If you don’t I definitely advise it. It’s been a game changer career wise
I’m interested in graphic design I think typography will be my favorite. Because I’ve done calligraphy before and I think it will be fun to create designs or fonts with typography.
I went to college for graphic design as well and wish I got as much as you did from your program. Mine could have been so much more fulfilling and educational
Hiii Dena 👋 How'd you manage your time, so that's so productive? I mean apart from design projects, there are quite a few design passions that you also work on. I'm very happy to hear stories and tips from you 😃 Uh-oh!! Your design work is so good and beautiful, wrapped in a harmonious portfolio, and the way you communicate in the video are calm & smooth-gentle, it really impressed me! Oh yeah, after watching your video, I'm not lazy again to make my design portfolio, thank you! your videos inspire me, and maybe a lot of viewers are here too! Keep it up 🔥
This is so strange to me, like I had no idea when I started to watch this that your passion project, that ive used myself, would be on here. During that time when your post went viral, it inspired me for the most of my high-school papers and to speak-up about issues. Thank you :D I'm glad that youtube recommended me this
So I've missed and loved being creative and after 20 years I'm getting back into it. Done some Adobe Photoshop tutorials on RUclips and came across your channel, liked and subscribed. Helped allot thanks.
I really like your works and there are lots of passion projects in your portfolio, which shows some depth to how you approach social issues. However, I wonder if you have showcased any actual client works to show that you have corporate experience. I’m a senior designer and we often look out for designers who have some experience in designing for companies/clients. Passion projects don’t rly go the distance so it’s good to include some industry works to show you’re a good candidate for hire :) thanks for sharing!
this is really motivating!! i just graduated my graphic design program but it killed a lot of my drive since it didnt give alot of creative freedom the past few years
Its an very informative and inspiring video for me. I am a learning graphic designer and thinking about the steps that you have gone through to make these type of projects or brand identity is brilliant. You seriously have an lots of exposure in your life right.

This was the most different video on portfolio I've seen so far. Your approach on this through the different mediums is super important and I need to study this better and improving my personal portfolio. Plus, it might make the different fields I'm interested in (graphic, ux, branding) more fluid
What is the name of the application you used to animate the portfolio? So that it would be an interactive book
It's called FlipHTML5! It's completely free to download if you just do a google search :)
@@DenaNguyen thanksss !🥴❤️
Is it possible to download the file with the animation? Or can you just embed it with this application? :)
