Uhm....just a slight bit of pushback...I believe when it's advised that women do not give "Wifely privileges" to every man; it is to protect women from getting used and abused by men who seek to exploit a woman for their own gain. Denying men "wifely privileges" helps women weed out the narcissist from men who have the true intentions of being who they say they are. Basically the real men interested in being who they are walk the walk and talk the talk without trying to swindle women of their peace. Men don't want to be married whether godly or not; this is the season on the earth right now, and it sucks to be in the midst of it because i have a desire that's not being fulfilled. For me one of the annoying things about being a single fulfilled women of God as you define Shumake, people don't believe you can be happy by yourself. They always assume something is wrong with me, they make you feel like your faking your happiness or trying to save face, when I am not. Not gonna lie i lust after woman but somehow i restrain myself. I just dont go all the way or form relationship. I keep it stuck at i like but i have my priorities. As a young woman I really enjoyed this video and I, 1 billion percent agree with everything said. Thank you for mentioning that it’s not about cooking or cleaning and speaking on how men and women talk. I was recently at a gathering with individuals from my church. I was shocked and annoyed the whole time. They were all getting drunk talking about different sex positions, oral sex, waxed vs shaved etc. then the women proceeded to harass the men asking why dnt men want them who are good women🤦🏾♀️I literally had to get up, separate myself and leave.

This is kinda funny because i have a man who looks at me like you described and sees me as his wife however i am not physically attracted to him. On paper he seems great and i went out with him on a date once but for whatever reason i am not feeling him😢 not looking for a man to give me butterflies however i do want to be attracted to the man that mayb my husband or partner
That is vital - even in scripture, attraction and "not so attractive" is explicitly descriptive in numerous stories of men and women. You will be the one living with your decisions and not being attracted to your partner will have negative repercussions - especially during tough times (attraction helps many things both within and beyond intimacy), and you also don't want to deny him the option of having someone that will be attracted to him in the way that you aren't. You should check out a video titled "IS ATTRACTION NECESSARY? | Biblical Womanhood" by Bindi Marc .... I truly think this will help you to put things into perspective and be comfortable with your decision and gut-feeling/intuition.
I too dated someone that others said I should give a chance, but I wasn't attracted to him ... And I did let him know that it's best that he seek someone who would both be aligned with and be attracted to him. Don't guilt yourself into accepting what you know is not suitable for you.
I personally don't think it's fair to expect a woman to always show up as a wife when these men are definitely not showing up as husbands... sacrificing themselves, and loving the wife as Christ loves the Church. I get the point of the message but I believe without more in depth discussion, it can be taken out of context. Not to mention, the Bible says wives submit to your OWN husband, not just any dude you're dating. If it doesn't make it to marriage he's not your husband and you are not his wife. Like you said if a man sees she is good he's going to show up with husband energy as well.
