@@Despamifier I was curious about this too, so I looked it up and it's actually correct. The original name is 湿った風 which literally translates to "damp wind".

This honestly made me laugh, lol
Man daisoujou was with me from the beginning to almost the end. refused him at 50 and got to my level (61) with the exp from the sacrifice , ended up at 75+. Had to swap out since super boss makes him shit due to not have high enough hp even with mitamas and meditation doing next to nothing to him

Yeah for some odd reason Kaneko made a male version of Amaterasu despite already having female Amatersu appear in several games prior.
This is literately the only time they used this Amatersu design....also in IMAGINE, but the Female form was still stronger.
They reused the design in the 2nd Raidou Game for Amatsu Mikaboshi, a rebellious japanese deity. Fun Fact: Is also Naoto's ultimate persona in Persona X Detective

I think metatrons laugh was more sinister in the original game.
He sounds a uppity douche in this version; I say it fits.
When I was first playing smt3 and I learned about red capotle I thought matador raised it for 4 levels for the entire party so the entire time I trained him up and actively giving him leveled so excited to get the buff because 4 stages of evasion is nice, but man
When I learned from playing it was single target my disappointment was immeasurable.
Welp, if you ever pick up SMT Strange Journey, you might be interested in eventually fusing Shaytan, mofo's unique skill is friggen Luster SOUL, a +4 to all stats to the ENTIRE PARTY, it's not a recruitable Demon though, only accesible through a Special Fusion and I can't remember how you obtain the fusion recipe
Technically 8x sukukajas since even if you're on -4 it raises to 4

Honestly, Red Capote just affecting Matador can still be good, but Holy Chimera, imagine if it affected the whole party.
Andalucia is even more busted in SMTIV:A, like it can hit up to 12 times, not to mention Matador get's pierce so he can hit at max power, high crit chance.
It's like even more busted than Hassoi Tobi in that game.

Game was amazing, despite the annoying as hell dungeons lol. True gem of the PS2 era. One of the all-time greats. Most underhyped, overlooked game of all time IMO. Classic.

Yeah when Nocturne shown multiple mots I was low key terrified thankfully the normal Mots do not have access to beast eye, but imagine if they did and ambushed you in a random encounter and you have to face TWO of him. "shudders".
Fun fact! In SMT IV Apocalypse there is a special area called Twisted Tokyo where Mot appears as an enemy. The Mot in Twisted Tokyo know Guardian Eye, which grants 3 half turns to the party.
So your fears can come true if you ever play IV Apocalypse and do Twisted Tokyo.

@@vioectrolysis The remaster seems to have REALLY bad audio mixing. Like some of the new lines for demons sound objectively worse despite not having to suffer from OG Nocturne's extreme audio compression.

I used to think Prayer was only for daisoujou, but i was able to carry it over to a couple other demons.

Hilarious how people are complaining about Atlus doing no changes in the remaster yet are complaining when they do changes to the voices of the demons.
Because the voices were good and didn't need changing. What DID need changing was Skill Inheritance (thankfully updated with a patch), uncompressing the music, and allowing you access to both Raidou AND Dante (at the same time).
@@espurrseyes42 I agree with the uncompressed music though unfortunately for some demons that are fully voiced(boss ones) that would be inconsistent. Accessing Dante and Raidou that exuse would've only been reasonable for the west since maniax(which was a rerelease in japan) was all the west got so it would've been best that it'd be dlc considering getting rights again isnt cheap and since this remaster is based on maniax chronicles would you rather pay full price for the same game just for content like games did back then?

I don't have a problem with Dante being DLC. I have a problem with Dante not being accessible in a way to allow for him to be used ALONGSIDE Raidou. Not even going to bother addressing your little strawman there at the end.
@@espurrseyes42 In that case, that'd be impossible due to cutscenes involving them in the game. And besides having a scenario that involves them both would have to warrant a remake(or dlc scenario) instead of a remaster. Even if you were to go the compendium route you CANT because they both serve the same roles in the game.

It is already in the original, but Expel/Light skills are so useless in late game that no one bothers to check them out.
If I were designing the game, the damaging Light skills would Pierce resistance.

After watching some SMTV videos, demon designs in SMT3 is still the best.
If you're referring to the new, original demons, then I suppose. If you're talking about the new models, then I guess so, too. But if you're alluding to the art itself, then nothing has changed. The overwhelming majority of the demons in SMT 5 will still use the same designs the franchise has been using for over two decades. Literally nothing has changed. In fact, the new models still use the exact same skeletons Atlus has been iterating on since NINE, so most demons will have the exact same attacking, spellcasting, hurt/suffering ailment, etc. animations they've always had.
Where are the boss exclusive skills? (Reason bosses, kagutsuchi, lucifer.)

Ironic i maxed all the demons stats&levels so these info seems a tad weak tome but it is.. accurate to the actual title of what it's specifying because even know that the demons ain't Max stats max level they do have unique skills so kudos to the one that designed it and played it for hours to be able to acquire these rare species

Yeah, in most games Skadi is a Magic/Support based demon, but in this game she's way more Physical offensive.

They all sound like trash. Biggest disappointment is that Daisoujou sounds like a santa now... Why did they have to change their original sounds?
Yea. Mother Harlot's now die is ok but her screams are a bit bad. I liked it more when she laughed. Dai also could've used his old sounds.
Man were those designs uninspired... "What if the grim reaper but it's a Barbie doll?"
To be fair, that's one of the more mythologically accurate designs, at least with regards to the Beast itself. The garb is also something comonly seen during The Middle Ages, where some of these ideas on Catholicism got going (although a lot got started beforehand). That said, I never liked the Fiend itself, she looks boring. The Beast is much cooler, and he's a bit cute too.
