Antique Chisels Restoration

We got some old chisels to restore! ...technically these are gouges, so, old gouges to restore!
They were very rusty and missing their handles, so it was a lot of work!
The handles for these chisels were the reason we made the Duplicator Tool for the lathe, which can be seen on another video:

Great video! Note: with carving gouges, you do NOT need to grind back to beyond the pitted areas. You simply put a secondary bevel on the inside, a common practice with carving gouges.
