    Justin says: stick around to the end! As if we do not hang onto every second we get to spend together on a Tuesday afternoon at 3 pm. The flute, which is a trademark of the Moodies, makes me think of Ray and how mystical he was. I loved it. I miss him greatly. This is a sweet song and very gay....something that we all need during these times. Simply lovely, Justin. You have so many fans who love you and look forward to Tuesday Afternoons. You are spoiling us, you know! I have worked with wild hawks (licensed falconer), trained, flown and hunted with redtail hawks which I trapped from the wild, and the thing with them is, if you do something three days in a row, they never forget about it and expect the samething each day thereafter and is VERY hard to break. We are getting like a redtail hawk, I fear.

      Interesting comment! I love all birds and their songs and sounds. Amazing that they get to fly as well.
      The small birds are so fragile. I would love to work with large birds. I have seen an eagle and it was very majestic.

    • @hzilla5550

      From Ray's own words from the song "Under Moonshine": ...and I miss him, now that he's gone. I sure miss him, now that he's gone." But the Swallow has always been "my pillar of peace" when I could just sit down and play along to the ride triplets on my Roland kit. Everything stops. But a great song always lends itself to new innovations, and Karmen has made a great contribution here, as has been made by Nigel Spencer on another song which Ray sang called "the Dreamer." ruclips.net/video/fQfMiNUSnmk/видео.html

      @ladyhecate9450 3 года назад +2

      @@vals74 yes I do as well. I love feeding them good wild bird food and not a bunch of filler. I also buy some dried nuts and berries for the Nuthatch, woodpecker, wren and others. My owl, Ozzie likes to sit and watch the birds flying around from thistle feeders to the bird seed on the ground. I put them on the ground because Cardinals and Blue Jays like to eat from the ground....even squirrels. I call my little area for birds my little sanctuary for them. I love all birds, especially Cockatiels. They are so loveable. I am holding off because I might get a kestrel which is the smallest falcon. There are plenty around. Unfortunately they go after the birds I am feeding as do Cooper's Hawk. I've been a licensed falconer for 17 years. To own a hawk, one has to jump through hoops of federal regulations.

    Thank you once again, Justin, for your musical artistry, your creativity, and for caring enough for you and Alberto to produce these Tuesday musical interludes to give your fans of old, and some new fans the treasure of your talent and music. Thanks also to Karmen Gould for her brilliance on the flute. The world is truly in an awful (if I were British I'd say "horrid") state right now. This is not the place to get political from Texas, so I won't.
    I am Jewish. We Jews live with an obligation: the Hebrew for it is "Tikun Olam", an English transliteration. It means "repair the world". Your producing and performing on Tuesdays is bringing light to the darkness in many parts of the world, including my home in Houston. I have found that with this horrible pandemic, people either live in denial or fear. And there truly is plenty to fear. Your music gives those who fear a major respite. Tikun Olam. It helps give us light and it helps give us hope. For that I and others are grateful.

    Jus' voice is just incredible since he's rested it after the tours. How it can be as clear and pristine as it was over these many years - is really remarkable. The gift of his music is that it appeals to not only the heart but the head. Everyone who has followed him and his band mates over the years, knows that crafting a song that transports the listener to a place of peace - whether today - or anywhere in the past - is the essence of his musical sour. Just remarkable ...

    Excellent! Thanks for your generousity, Justin in this time of need (lockdown)! "What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. The feet that hasten to the poor and needy. A well-kept secret, "The Swallow." Since I hadn't collected any of the Moody Blues' later albums (post-80s), _Strange Times_ got by me and so I never got to hear this gem until a couple of years ago. Brilliant, whimsical, puts me in a happy place. Justin Hayward is a gift to humanity as far as I'm concerned -- his compositions always hit that soft spot in the heart, whether it's rock or easy-listening. And his simple decency as a man is something to emulate and aspire to. Been listening to you for 54 years, Justin; keep churning them out if the mood hits you, but boy you've given us all a massive treasure trove of amazing songs in that time. Good luck to you, sir, and God bless.
