- This clip demonstrates one way to tie dropper loops of the same length. My jig for the task provides 'an extra pair of hands', which is always useful when working with springy monofilament nylon.

Wow. This takes way longer than just doing it in your fingers. Nice JIG idea... but if your making 10 rigs like this... you'd be here all day
I don't get it either. Maybe this gentleman has issues with his hands shaking or something similar that makes it hard to tie freehand.
I just made my board I'm tying Sabiki rigs this works great all the same size and I like the twist in the dropper loop I will try it on larger rigs
Nice idea 👍
What the distance between nails and the top one?
On my block the top nail is 12cm from each of the two front nails. The two front nails are 14cm apart. But you can choose your own distances.
Why so many green beads if they can’t see one why would they see 4
It’s probably to help it stick out from the leader
Great idea mate, anyone can do the " dropper loop " it's getting the twist in the loop that's the trick .
Should have shown how to get same length to 2nd loop!
Great, finally someone with a brain. Best ever. thanks
Like I'm supposed to carry that with me while fishing?
You pre-tie the rigs at home so when you are out there fishing, you won't waste time tying rigs or just attached a new one if you break off.
What’s the go with green balls
They're an optional extra. I'm not a complete believer in attractants (bling) for fishing, but beads add something visual to a video clip.

Way to complicate, I do it just with hands, no nails, no wood board!
Amen
I would choose to make it by hand. This thing is too time consuming.
dropper rigs for surf casting , half the casting distance...
Don't need to cast far in NZ.
They give you more cast distance coz the weights at the bottom ? lol
