- This is a modification of an excellent de-make of the Doom Eternal Track "The Only Thing They Fear Is You" by Supasniffy. I downloaded their rendition and beefed it up with some extra instruments, more modulation on the longer high notes and more bending in the low rhythm sections. I also re-made a lot of the breakdowns/synth sections to try and emulate the original track... But there's only so much you can do with classic midi sounds before you start straying into full remix territory rather than a de-make.
I also made a .midi file so you can toss this in your doom WADs or wherever! Forgive the mess in there, I used REAPER and really didn't intend to ever make this into a .midi so it's kind of a disaster if you decide to open it up. Don't expect it to sound exactly like the track does here on RUclips, I did a lot of mixing magic to try and squeeze all the life out of those old soundfonts as I could. Link is down below.

Legit enjoying this track finally cause I used to hate Argent Metal. This....this though....I can get down to this. OG DOOM MIDIS FOR LIFE. 2016/Eternal aren't bad soundtracks, but certainly should respect their elders lmao

2:22 ... that melody is offset by one note. It's supposed to start with the low D#
I know I'm nitpicking, but it's fascinating how everybody has some rather obvious mistakes in their MIDI version.
HAHAH, I'm so happy someone noticed that. At first I wasn't sure exactly how this string of notes went here so this entire section is an absolute dartboard of guesswork. I just settled on what I thought sounded "close enough" here but I guess I didn't do enough back and forth comparisons to catch it. I do appreciate the nitpicking because it means somebody else listens as closely as I do to this kind of thing :]
It's a cover... does it need to be 1 to 1?
@@jun0cackseh, when it comes to trying to be a demake specifically, trying to emulate the original as much as the limitations of the medium allow is preferable
de-make so powerful the power went down for 2 seconds and came back, maybe the house was reloading it's power idk

This is probably one of the demakes of this that sounds like the OG while also keeping a certain pace and energy to be enjoyable as a classic Doom level song

Superior to the original. I don't like what supasniffy does with the notes of the main riff. You fixed that.
It's why I threw it together in the first place. Sniffy did an awesome job arranging the elements together, they just missed out on some opportunities I knew I could take advantage of like the pitch bending and suboctave bassline.

Somebody should do a demake of Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal.
I wish there was a complete classic sound pack, like EVERY sound. pickups, demons, footsteps (preferably muted expect for certain demons), explosions, jump landings, and all stops inbetween.
I might use this for a concept I've been thinking about called eternal.wad, it's a wad for doom 2 remaking Doom eternal
If you actually follow through on it I'd make you more tracks based on Eternal's music :D
