    Oh my! I thought I was the only one that gave an aggravating man, that 'look.' You are so much like me! We don't want to take time out for stupid questions. Thank you for your video. My tomahawk is searing on the indoor grill, and what you said to do is exactly what I thought should be done; despite all the other recipes that I felt were not quite right, you hit it right on the nail! You confirmed how it should be seasoned, seared, and roasted. The oven temperature is perfect.

    If you dry brine, should you season with salt again before beginning the cook?

    • @KennasKitchen

    • @oalha001
      @oalha001 2 года назад

      @@KennasKitchen I used diamond crystal kosher salt. It’s been dry brining for almost 24 hours. I made sure to coat the entire tomahawk. Would a small layer make it too salty?

    • @KennasKitchen
      @KennasKitchen  2 года назад

      @@oalha001 honestly that is up to preference. If you feel like you already did a lot of salt, leave it off. But if you like salt, like I do, do another light layer with the rest of your ingredients, and then give it a go! Worse that happens is it’s a little salty, and you have to cook another tomahawk steak to get it right 😏 win/win

      I buy them at meat markets, such as Wilkes or Pattons! But sometimes Publix has them on sale. Also, this cut is the exact same as a bone in rib-eye, which you can usually get at any grocery store. The only thing different is it doesn’t have the long bone attached! Actually cheaper per pound as well because your not paying for all that bone!

    Dogs are allergic to garlic 😯

    • @KennasKitchen
      @KennasKitchen  6 месяцев назад

      Yes they are!! But I don't think there's any harm in giving them a piece of meat thats been seasoned and then cooked, right? I think its just like raw garlic in excess that can be dangerous.
