My friend’s Ghanaian and that Fish taste in the first plate of food is called Shito which is made from shrimp, garlic, peppers… into a paste. It’s like a condiment and you add a little bit which each bite, not a whole tablespoon like you did !! 🙌👊😂

As a Ghanaian, they scammed him to an unbelievable extent. That 'bag' of water should not cost more than 1 cedi, that woman tripled the price. That 'ball' in the beginning is called zowe, and it really shocked me when she said 20 cedis because the cost of that is between 5-10 cedis. 10 cedis is even too much.

Geez, they ripped him off so many times. The only legit food was the fried plantain and the waakye. The 1 sausage with two gizzard was definitely not 10 cedis. It would be 5 cedis at the very most. And the water is not 3 cedis but 0.5pesewas, which is half of 1 cedi. This is up to location 5 (14:12). I will always recommend going with a trusted local to let you have the best experience without being taken advantage of sadly.
