MOUTH CORNER LIFT - Face Exercises For Droopy Mouth Corners to Lift the Mouth Corners Naturally

  • In this video, I’m going to show you the face exercises that help to lift the droopy mouth corners up so that they sit at the same level and appear symmetrical.
    When your face is relaxed are your mouth corners appear downturned? There are two main reasons for that - weakness in the supporting cheek muscles that hold the mouth corners up (Zygomaticus major and Risorius) and tightness in the muscles that bring the mouth corners down (Depressor Anguli Oris).
    This video will help you to tone the correct muscles of the cheeks and to release the depressor muscles creating a nice even appearance and lift in the mouth corners.

    I dont believe it but it works. I go to the gym, when muscles hurt it means its developing, same with this exercise, theres pain meaning the facial muscles are activating. Remember "no pai, no gain"

      Thanks for your feedback, we should be feeling the muscles working for sure, but not exactly hurting! It's a fine balance between engaging the muscles and overdoing on the exercises. SO fine-tune as needed please 😀🌷

    Loved this video. I am working on getting a more symmetrical smile as I think many of us could do with some help with that. Will this method help? Or do you have any other suggestions or videos? ❤

    I have realized my facial musckes,lip corners, cheeks do not have to same level of tone or strength. I am following your toning excerises and gua sha tutorials. Would you recommend any other of your facial toning exercises to get them more same/same?

      Thank you for your questions and for watching the videos💆‍♀🌷 it's a question of time and consistency I think, before you can feel the muscles stronger and feel more in control of them😀this will all come!     Hi Polina, I'm a 60+ woman who has very little wrinkles (so grateful) but around my mouth it's what bothers me big time. So I'm hoping this workout is what I need to tighten those muscles-thank you. I will try these at night before bed. Appreciate you not just telling us but showing so we could follow along! I get everyone is different but how long will it take to see some difference and I'm assuming if one does it daily?

      Thanks for your feedback and I'm happy you enjoyed the video🌸Yes this one will be good for any folds/lines around the mouth, and with daily application, you should be able to see some results in 4-6 weeks. Do also include face massage with oil to tone and smooth over the lines in this area, I have some in the Massage section which you might like, do take a look :)💆‍♀

    I can get my mouth corners on the same level in the first exercise, where I'm supposed to press them together. Is there anything I can do about this?

      I'd recommend pressing the lips less so that you can create a neutral even line through the mouth corners as much as possible 🌸

    Ho Polina, I have deep naselfold smile lines I'm trying to reduce. When I do this mouth corner exercise, I feel like the nasel folds need improvement to really help with down turned mouth. Do you have any suggestions? I'm 56 and really want lift and to improve these areas naturally. Thank you for everything you do❤

    I've just started watching your videos and I have a couple of questions if that's ok? Firstly, do you suggest doing these exercises once every day? Secondly one side of my face is definitely weaker than the other and noticeably more downturned and 'flatter', would you recommend doing more repetitions on that side or always do the exercises symmetrically on both sides? Thank you.

      Hi Jules, thanks for your questions, and for watching the videos! Yes doing it daily is the best, if not, then 5-6 times a week as standard to see and maintain results. I would work on both sides in a balanced way so that the muscles work symmetrically 🌷

    Hi how many repetitions should I do for each step? Will this help with reducing smile lines and do I have to put oil on my face?

      Every time we engage the muscles, we hold for 10 counts/10 seconds. you can repeat each one up to 3 times. For this no face oil, since we're doing strengthening of the muscles. It will help reduce the nasolabial folds (smile lines) since we're working here on cheek lifting and toning. Hope this helps!🌸

    Hi Polina, I have dimples on the cheeks which have started to elongated or droop? What can I do

      Thank you for your question 🌸It sounds like it might be coming from the cheeks muscles which perhaps have got weak so I would suggest working on cheek lift and jowls lift, please check out my Cheek Lift section on the channel 🌸💆‍♀ I hope this helps !

    I’m way beyond simple lifting exercises with my droopy mouth. Is there something more to be done for an older person like me.

    I do not understand how we should smooth out the lines with our fingers. Should we just press on the lines and smile while pressing?

      Exactly, just position the fingers over the lines to smooth them applying a light pressure so no visible lines are formed💆‍♀

    Should I worry that my face feels sore a few hours after and the next day?

      It should never hurt when doing the exercises. Not sure why you feel so much pain, possibly you might be over engaging the muscles or compensating with squeezing up somewhere else in the face. So Please stop the exercises for the time being. You can retry again in a few days time, when you can try engaging the muscles gently so that you don't feel discomfort.

I thought i had to engage the muscles as much as possible, and i even did some of the exercises a couple of times more. I´ll rest my face for a couple of days and try engaging more gently.

    Why are we smooting out the lines with our fingers? Whats that doing for the face?

      We're smoothing the lines in so as to check that we haven't engaged into the cheeks, as this exercise should be felt in the chin, jaw and neck. It's telling the face to disengage the cheeks.

      Thanks for letting me know, maybe it's worth lessening the muscle engagement on the exercise during which it hurts, so you can feel the muscles without the pain.
