- We have many messages from people living in the next life about what happens to those who take their life in the afterlife. They all say the same thing. They are met with great compassion and understanding. There is no judgment, punishment, or condemnation. There is no hell.

i think about suicide so often, yet don't feel really depressed. i'm just so tired of how very hard living is. just getting by would be a step up. i'm still so grateful for so many things.......but would like the struggle to be over.
You're having a difficult time of it. Stay with the struggle. I know I don't know your situation, and forgive me if I make a suggestion that doesn't fit for you. Look for ways to get out of yourself. Spend time with friends or voluntee to help others. The more time you spend inside yourself, the more difficult life will be for you.
My god, I thought I was the only one that felt exactly like you do.
According to Hindu philosophy, if u r suffering now you r neutralizing your karma. No pain lasts for ever. If you choose not to suffer in this life and end it, the balance of pain doesn't disappear with death , you continue to suffer pain n more in afterlife. So its better take courage n continue living our destined life no matter how hard it is so that our after life is a joyful one.

I've been there! I've even tried taking my own life before, but I've never gone anywhere! When I tried it when I was 18, I had to drink charcoal and that made it so I never wanted to do it again! I believe in the Bible, but I hope that if I ever got to that point that I wouldn't do it! Life is just so hard sometimes! For everybody!
I have no doubt that they are treated with compassion and love. Problem is, their timing was out in that they needed to live their life through to the end. My brother killed himself at the agee of 41. I grieved severely and at one stage, whilst crying, I heard him say "please don't cry anymore. You are hurting me." I stopped immediately, but after all these years the odd tear still rolls down my cheeks.

The near-death experiences I watched with people who committed suicide did not worry all the time and the problems did not follow them in a way that they were on Earth and also there was no feeling of guilt or shame or regrets

However, I will say this -- new age NDEs cull all of the NDEs that include hell or torment or judgment, whilst Judeo-Christian NDEs cull all of the NDEs that do not include hell, torment, or judgment. Both have their own goals, and I dislike that there are no neutral NDE channels where they include generic experiences from both sides without trying to cull the experience to push for a specific message.

The part where he talks about people calling at church, mosque, or synagogue and being able to talk with someone that has compassion and won't judge them really hit home for me! I would never call any of these places because nowadays if you feel suicidal, you can't just talk to someone without getting law-enforcement involved usually! The true facts about the end of this life and the life in the afterlife are known to those who are studying afterlife communication through direct-voice mediums, physical mediums, materialization mediums, trance mediums, and mental mediums. All you can really glean is what you feel you have interpreted, but saying there are "true facts" is especially boastful given that some NDEs completely contradict what was said in the video above. And for people to say one set of NDEs is more true than another is once again heading back into boastful territory for a realm that can still not be observed, measured or experienced through the tools made available to us in our known physical existence.

We rely on the testimonies from people actually in the afterlife, not NDEs. And yes, we have detailed information about the end of this life and the afterlife.

In around 5% of the cases, a near-death experience can have some negative qualities, but they aren't consistent across experiences. Images that are negative have their root in the portrayals of a hell. More importantly, for those who have made the transition when the body dies, not one reports a hell. In fact, they report back to people on this side of life that hell simply doesn't exist. The earliest books in the Christian canon have no mention of a hell: Acts of the Apostles, Paul's letters, and Mark. The one passage about Lazarus and the rich man was added later. The earliest versions of Mark have no such story. And when the gospels refer to "hell," it is a mistranslation for "Gehenna," a garbage dump that burned outside the gates of Jerusalem. Later translations corrected the problem. There is simply no evidence for a hell.

Most people who commit suicide are mentally very ill.cant you see it as a cancer. The pain is unbearable.there are compassionate people such as the Samaritans, who have saved many people. In all cases, there is no judgment or condemnation. There is no punishment. When the person goes through the life review, they will see what their behavior did to people around them. That is a learning exercise. It is to help them realize the importance of living with love and peace with others.

Seems like everyone's got the answers nobody knows suddenly! If everything is love and compassion and no fear no sorrow, etc etc, then what's any tortured suicidal soul got to look forward to? If they'd had love compassion and healing and no judgement here they wouldn't do it...seems to me every one of these different themes is either too unsure or not allowed to really speculate on RUclips...I don't believe God is going to make them suffer at all if they believe in Jesus. Nothing is shamed. All choices we make are just choices we're making from where we are. Yes, when a person takes their life because of some debilitating illness, there is great understanding and none of the regret felt when someone ends their life because of life's problems. For others who don't have the illnesses, no one we've heard speak from the life after this life about their suicide has said "Boy, that was the best thing I ever did. I'm glad I'm out of there." They all say it was a great mistake. It was a permanent solution to a temporary problem. They come through to their loved ones on this side with great regret and sorrow at their choice. The hard truth is that there really isn't anything for the person who is not leaving because of a debilitating illness to look forward to by ending their life. But the greater problem is that we as a society don't have the safety nets to help people get past the challenges. If there is blame and shame, it is on us as a society.

Yes, it's difficult for us to judge someone else's situation. They will make their best decisions for where they are. A mental illness can also be debilitating. It's up to us to do what we can to give people support so they can meet life's challenges and be successful.
No one will judge you on the other side. I was told they weren't in your shoes and went through what you went through. You will receive love empathy and compassion and help.
Just because it's not something detected on an X-ray mri blood work etc to diagnose you with an illness doesn't disregard that there isn't one. Depression is very real deep Depression and clinical depression is very real. There is mental illnesses that are not seen with physical evidence. So to say that If they don't have an illness and commit suicide they will regret and so on. That's absurd. I suggest you do some studies on this before making that statement. I buried my son yesterday as he took his life. He didn't do it for the hell of it. He suffered and battled his darkness for a long time trying to beat it, but it ended up beating him. I truly deep in my heart God didn't judge him and tell him what a mistake he made because he didn't have a labeled illness. Until you can actually live in another one's mind and feel their pain you have no right to comment or judge anyone who decided to check out.
As a born again Christian this is a hard one. You see, one of God’s 10 Commandments is you shall not murder now. If you put it down to your head as a Christian and you pull the trigger and it kills you instantly you have committed self murder Questionnaires the Lord forgive it? I honestly don’t know but maybe not because you have disobeyed his command and not repented if you shut off and have enough time yes you may repent and genuinely mean it so if that’s the case the Lord may accept you into heaven. I understand your faith. I was a born-again Christian and on the faculty of a Baptist college. It isn't a matter of choosing faith or what we are saying about the life after this life. Go to the Jesus' words for guidance. Jesus said to those condemning a woman caught in adultery, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." What he was saying was that we are all "sinners." We could never be perfect enough. He was saying don't judge people. And more importantly, God does not judge people. In Matthew, he said "Do not judge, or you too will be judged." There is no judgment or condemnation for taking one's life. There is no one who must be good to enter the Kingdom of God. There is no judgment or condemnation. More importantly, we have received many, many reports from people now living in the life after this life that there is no judgment of someone who takes their life. There is no punishment. There is only understanding and empathy.

No, the concept of hell developed in the church in the first two centuries CE. The word "Genenna" or "Valley of Hinnom" was mistranslated in the Bible. It was a garbage dump outside Jerusalem. Modern translators have corrected the problem. Hell is never mentioned in all the earliest writings after Jesus' death. It isn't in Acts of The Apostles, Mark, the earliest gospel, and Paul's writings. If hell existed wouldn't you expect they'd say something about it even once! It developed after these early writers. And the Jews did not believe in a place of torment. Sheol meant simply "unseen." If you read a translation as "hell," that was another mistranslation.

Yes, there is deep grief on this side and there is sadness on the next plane of life at a murder, even though the child or adult is alive and well on the next plane of life. Their life has been cut short. The death by murder is not in the person's life plan.

2 major situations. One is when a person doesn't want any more physical suffering as in cancer. That is allowable by the Lord. The second is not good and when they lose soul development and have a worst time in their next lifetime. It's very bad.
What about assisted death because of severe illness? So may people choose to finish their lives this way now.
The body is meaningless. Only the mind or soul is of eternal worth. So leaving this life early because of severe illness is not a problem.

Emotions are the same as they are on Earth, but they have a perspective on life and the eventual reunion of everyone that most people now on Earth don't have. When someone takes their life, the people on this side of life grieve because the exit wasn't necessary. That grief will lost a long time, and eventually stabilizes, but doesn't go away entirely. For people living in the life after this life, they feel that grief and also realize what they've lost. So their sadness continues. Eventually, they will grow beyond the grief, just as their loved ones on Earth grow beyond it. And because they realize the life on Earth is just a blink of an eye, their grief is tempered by the fact that they know they will have a reunion with the people still on Earth in a short time. And they can look in on their loved ones on Earth at any time. What they feel is a mixture of these emotions. So their sadness and regret do eventually reduce.

It's hard to imagine, but your Soul and the others working with you chose this life. What you experienced has taught you things. You won't realize why until you've gone on.

It is a nice and somewhat interesting video, but although some of what you say is true, that we need to become kinder etc, I do not know if "someone" is obliged to just spend their whole life waiting for "someone else," who might call in a low mood some day. I think that people have to be resilient and self-sufficient too. Maybe it would be better if we taught better life skills earlier, or picked up mental health issues earlier or if we could destress etc, or maybe if we were just a better, kinder, more caring, observant society..

You come back quickly on a tougher life
No, people don't come back to Earth after their bodies die, regardless of the circumstances. And there is no judgment or condemnation, so a person won't be punished by being sent back to live a tougher life. People who take their own life are met with understanding and love. They then process their lives so they understand why they were brought to the situation that resulted in their action.

People who take their own lives tell us from the afterlife that it is not a happy reunion with people already there. Both the person who took their life and all the rest already there feel the intense emotions of the people left on Earth because we become one in mind. They feel all the emotions people feel who are left behind. And everything that could have been gained from life is gone. They all regret the choice of leaving Earth early.

There is nothing but God. Everything is God. So asking some being outside of us to do things isn't possible. Instead, we are masters of our fates. We can endeavor to get well and be cured of pain. That does have an effect. But we do it. And it may be that it is our lot in life to have pain. Our task is to learn to be happy in spite of the pain. I know that sounds heartless, but we signed onto Earth School to have challenges to overcome as we learn. Illness and pain are such challenges.

When we realize the truth about life, there's no need to try to outrun the transition to the next life. It's just a normal stage of life, like going from childhood into adolescence. There's no place of torture in the next life. No one is judged. We learn to grow in love, compassion, and wisdom by reviewing our lives and learning from what we've done. We judge ourselves. But there is no hell.

Kathryn, yes, the word heaven is ouranós in the Greek. The New Testament manuscripts we have are in Greek. "Heaven" is an Anglo Saxon English word used when ouranós appears as a translation. The Anglo Saxon word "hofen" or "heaven" means "home of God," not a place where people go. Kingdom of Heaven or Kingdom of God was Βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν in the Greek. Jesus clearly said God's kingdom is on earth, not in a far-off place. It is within, meaning people must have a metanoia, a change of heart and mind, to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Heaven wasn't a far-off place. There are references to God's being in the firmament, or hashamayim, translated "heaven." That is not a place people would go. As far as "hell" goes, that is also an Anglo Saxon word meaning to cover or hide. It never referred to a place of torment. The New Testament does not mention a place of torment at all, except in one reference to Lazarus seeing people in torment that was added to the New Testament at a later time. I've heard for example, that a young soldier died when his plane was shot down by the Japanese during that war time, and he was reincarnated in this current life, so could that be part of God's judgment? I think the after life may be different for each individual, according to the way we live in this life.

Killing is basically taking a life, and when you commit suicide you are taking your own life, which is a sin. Also, we did not give life to our selves, God did, therefore we don't have the right to commit suicide. Life is a gift that GOD gave us. If you are having problems in your life, just pray to God and he will help you, he said that he will never leave nor forsake us. There is no excuse for suicide, it is wrong and you will end up hell if you do it.

No. There is no hell. Hitler is on a stage of spiritual development. It's a pretty low stage, but he's growing and developing in his understanding of what he did during his lifetime. In his life review, he actually enters the minds of the people he hurt and feels their emotions from their point of view. It will be a terrible time for him, but it isn't a punishment. It's meant to help him grow. He lives in a lower region of the afterlife, where people like him are living together. They are there because their state of mind puts them into the same environment as others with the same state of mind. It is dark and dank, with shrieks and loud shouting because of the state of mind of the inhabitants. He will eventually grow out of that into the upper regions after he has learned to be loving and compassionate.

"Near-death" is only the body coming near to ceasing to function. What people experience is not the same as receiving information from people who have actually made the transition from this life to the next. We base everything we write on communication from people living in the life after this life, not near-death experiences. I read your other post. When people transition to the next stage of their lives, they have all the same emotions they had when on Earth. They do experience regret and feel the sadness of all the people involved.
