Did about 10min wortht of work today and now it's time to spend an hour watching Steven. After this, I'll have 1hr left at work and I'll spend it picking my kid up from school. Always get inspired to start listing cards on Ebay when I watch your videos....just need to turn that inspiration into actual work, especially since I don't do much during the day.
just set a listing goal of 20,30,40 cards and chip away, rather than tackling a lot at once, you can get 800 done in a month at 30 per day, you will be surprised how much can get done with achievable goals
Love the vlog! I spent like 3 days just walking around that Namba area just in awe of all the stores. Love seeing all the up close previews of the cards. I went only last year in April and prices have dropped like crazy - insane to see so much sealed stock as well.
Absolutely loving the vlogs! Its great to have a new one each day haha I'm going all over japan in may and these make me even more excited! Any chance i could get any recs on the best stores/chains/areas for cheap played vintage? I dont really care about condition, just want a good range of dirt cheap cards!! (Eseries until b&w time) Some stores definitely seem more focussed on modern or mint cards
honestly, cheaper and older cards even in bad condition doesnt really exist, the stores have limited space, so at most they are showing off light played/nm versions of cards and they are usually up there in price (2000-4000 yen for nm oldback holo for example), but there were a few in osaka that definitely had a larger selection (like the c-labo in this video), osaka would be your best bet as they just have so many card stores.. but cant really recommend much as remembering 200+ stores over the 14 days is harder said than done lol
@@PokemonStevenahh okay that makes sense, not the best money makers. I start my trip in Osaka and definitely going to be digging deep there! Appreciate the response and keep up the good work!!
Loving the videos and all the info as I’m visiting soon. I’d be on the hunt for vending series cards, what places would you recommend or you saw with the most stock?
I’ll never forget when I was in Japan looking for cards in Tokyo. Was getting underwhelmed and then stumbled upon the card district in Osaka and couldn’t believe how chock-full of cards all the stores were. Prices were still wildly inconsistent across the board but the selection of LP old-backs was great
@@PokemonSteven Totally. The store density in Osaka is insane and they were always slammed even during the weekdays which really tells you about how much they're all into it down there. Massive difference from some of the stores I saw in Akihabara and Shibuya. That said, I have to check out your Shibuya MAGI spots. Missed the good one. Going back this weekend though for a trip so that will be an easy stop. So cool trying to hunt around for the old-backs.
Mate could you send me a short list of card stores to check out in osaka? I wont have time to explore the lot going in may! Im with a friend who doesnt collect. Ill be mainly looking for graded / single old backs/e reader/older full arts
I think Steve as a really busy man would rather you watch the video, hear his thoughts on the stores he goes to in the actual video and then decide for yourself which stores fit your needs. 😅
all the main card stores in osaka are within 500m walking distance from eachother, if you are swift you can knock them out in like an hour or two just to see what each has.. i cant really recommend any as outside of the ones i videoed, i can't really remember. I think day 8 has more card stores that you would like with e reader cards and old backs
Steve puts the love in OkJLuv
i did not put anything in him i promise
Loving these Vlogs, Steve is killing it, ur doing an amazing job brother 💪
im glad people have enjoyed them

honestly, vending was extremely scarce and maybe 1 or 2 tokyo stores had like.. 20 cards that i can remember

yeah osaka is just a lot easier than tokyo, and much more normal card stores, not just show-off high price stores i guess, if you know what i mean

going to japan at the end of the year and was looking to go card hunting. did you happen to see any one piece cards in any of the stores.
Crazy deals in the dragon star! Need to visit one of these stores
my favourite stores for sure
How did you bring all the PSA Cards to Australia (how do you put them into your suit case/ safely and space efficient?)
i put them in my carry-on
I always love the card shopping videos. Keep it up
4 more vlogs to come!!
If i went to that dragonstar store i would go broke, I will have to check that store out, I only went to like 4 stores in Osaka.
theres like 3 dragonstars in osaka and they are all very good
Wouldn’t be a problem, the tickets to Japan makes you broke before even coming 😂
Hi! I couldn’t find the TCG card shop from 11:00 on Google where you bought the blastoise card. Do you have the address by chance?
its around the main area of cards, but not on the main strip. I cant find the name either, damn japan and the troublesome names lol.
@@PokemonSteven ahh no worries! Do you remember what the card area was called in Osaka?
@@DarkraiFanboy namba! just type in trading card near osaka and itll all pop out
