Just do vex incursions if just want to complete your armor collection (except the shadowkeep armor you need to do the campaign first). If you want to grind for better stats then do the lost sectors to target specific armor slot. I still don't do that though drop rate is abysmal (I always do the highest difficulty)
Vex Strike Force is without a doubt best way to earn NEW Exotics you haven;t got before. I invested 1-3 days watching Vex forces in Discord and almost completed fresh character Titan exotics. Only 9 remaining.
load into patrol, and look for a golden patrol icon, those guarantee a weapon and have a chance to be a red border as long as you are in the vex incursion zone. So for an example today is the ahimsa park. Go there and pull your ghost out to see all the available patrols. If you dont see that golden patrol, just reload into the area by fast travelling back into the area. It will reload the patrols every time you do this. You dont need to ride your sparrow back and forth just pull up your map and fast travel back to your current location. I know it sounds dumb but it works
I'm so glad I'm not the only one that thought it was a total ripoff, I honest to God thought I could finally get some new exotic armor that I haven't gotten yet but NOPE! I was willing to grind for some Radiant Dance Machines and the arms that added more oomf to the wrighted throwing knives 😢
36 is my longest run without, but I believe this was because I hadn't been deleting my extra exotics(doubles, even some triples from the vault) which had built up when using an app to transfer to the vault when grinding losts (ledgand) sectors a few seasons back. Since my long runs without are 10 to 15 which hurts. Ooooch... "👍"...
Man....just keep looking to do the vex incursion - they are very random - but every time its a winner. Went to neptune and thought id have a go.....2 of them ...nearly back to back.....now ive got all my warlock exotics, and last night went to do solstice blah on neptune ...and bang vex excursion appears....now only need 3 more exotics for my titan.
My guardians have all exotics (but could always use a better roll here and there) there is, I grind ledgen losts for materials. The "diacord app" has an auto bot that notifys you everytime a vex incursion sporns, thats why guardians turn up out the blue...! Happy hunting... "👍"...
3:08, GMs don’t actually guaranteed exotic drop, cause I ran 30 GMs and I got 1 time that only ascendant shard dropped at the end (note: platinum reward)
I suck at this game, I have 100+ res and using the best rated builds currently for current meta on my Titan and Hunter, pretty geared up at ilvl 1815 with pretty much most of the common best weapons in game and tried to solo my first lost sector on legendary and didnt make it past the first group of mobs, lol
It helps to be of high level and use meta antichampion weapons like Le monarque and wish ender...most of them can one shot red bars anyway. You could also watch vids on easy clears.

Because i had 3 exotics with my warlock and swicht to my titan and on interface of pvp (for exemple when i put my cursor on domination match) doesn't show me anymore that i have to complete games to win exotics. (precision my titan is 1600 light power i never use it)
Does anyone have an exotic farm guide for under powered players? My dad stated playing again recently and is even 1770 yet. All his exotics are from when the exotics gave primary ammo finder so he currently doesn’t have any

I believe the bumped the lost sector chances to 27% and 35%, not like that's noticeable though

How about making a video on how to get red border weapons from Neptune? They just don’t drop!

Am I the only who feels cursed on the Legendary Lost Sectors? I swear I could do it ten times and never get a new exotic. I've given up at this point.

Fwiw, Legendary engrams that drop in NF's and Lost Sectors are higher chance to be exotic engrams.
