When I first listened to this song at 8 years old while playing this level. Afterwards I remember taking a bath and as this music is playing in my head as I had this lamented feeling of wanting to experience something unique or otherworldly (like Atlantis or something). It made me feel like I wanted to travel and explore foreign places around the world with different natural landscapes
Something about the 2000s seems so much more beautifully imaginative, hopeful, adventurous, etc. And I'm not just talking about growing up but the cultural output of the period. This track very much captures that. People say "you just grew up", well that seems to happen faster and faster - almost like they want us, need us, to lose that spark and never find it again.
the main reason people lost the creativity and uniqueness of what art aka games/movies gave us in 2000 is lost is for 1 big reason...... social media, youtube etc etc. why? because back then you had no influence on what to think, believe and know. back then it was just imagining the unknown everyone had different thoughts etc and that way we got unique never seen ideas. but now the influence on social media is so great that most people are the same, think the same etc etc. give a man the internet he creates something similar which is popular...... give a man nothing but paper he would create something never seen before. atleast thats my hypothesis
I remember getting onto one of those asteroids in the belt orbiting around the place. You could get a skillpoint there. But the main thing that stuck to me was the music. I would sit on that asteroid for almost an hour listening to the soundtrack that was playing. The total lack of ambient sounds on the asteroid belt made it more dramatic. The place felt a lot bigger than it was. It was very lonely.
Remember when it was 2004, the best year of gaming! These was one of those games, and Twinsanity came out that year. That's when I got my first PS2 slim for christmas. I always begged my parents for new video games, I had a lot over like 30 at the time, but they're all gone... Should've kept them. I actually still have the PS2 fat model left for dust.

I think your words expressed what many of us deeply think.

I love those sections in Ratchet and Clank games set in space: Gemlik Base, Jamming Array and Obani Moon

Low gravity, asteroid belts and satellites concentrated into a beautiful soundtrack
Played this to my dog. He's now a tyranoid
These reminds me of a romantic tv show in ones of the cinematics of the game 😂

It would be cool if I had a robot girl sitting next to me too, an AI girl that is.
I made it to the 15:23 mark.
I wonder where I could find more music like this? Hm...? Does anyone have any ideas?
