Thank you for this idea. I've been searching RUclips because I had the same problem you had -- not knowing what I have because my flowers and greenery are all in boxes I can't see, etc. I would buy more of the same and I didn't need to. Thanks again!
I'm sorry I'm just now getting back to you. There have been times when I wasn't satisfied w how full an artificial flower looked and I took apart the flower and combined two of them to make a nicer looking flower. Especially w the wedding bouquets I used to do. I saved the extra pieces that I didn't use. I just stored them in a plastic shoe storage box. Extra leaves came in handy at times when I had saved them. Sometimes I use plastic storage bags to sort the different types of pieces out. Saving these pieces have come in very handy at times. Also, cemetery flowers can be reused. Spray them initially w some clear paint spray and it will preserve them a little better. After they have been faded by the sun, clean the flower and add some dye or acrylic paint. You can also replace the flower heads on them.

How do you restore your crushed flowers?
Steam. Hold them over a pot of boiling water.

Use a heat gun or even a hair dryer to fluff up crushed flowers.
that is a good idea but the dust you will accumulate wont be worth it
Cover the entire shelf with celophane, saran wrap, or some type of light cover.
Now just put them in color order on the stand
