Imagine being a Muslim woman with hijab. There is no need to waste time with makeup and there is no bad hair day. You just need self-confidence and be happy with yourself.
I used to wear make up but life has been much easier without it. I still wear bb cream and lip cream (very natural colors that suit my skin) on certain occasions though . I still cant give up on it 100%
its not about loving myself, but everytime i dont wear makeup , classmates keep asking me if i am doing well and tell me that i look tired tsi frequently to the point, that, it affect me mentally, and i become actually tired and bad mooded. its really hard to deal with!
My 2024 resolution that to give up makeup and it’s very hard decision but I wanna to know how can I embrace without makeup and I found ur videos that’s very hlpful
I've had someone else do makeup on me a couple times. I looked weird. Maybe that's what many make-up wearing women feel about the way they look if they're used to seeing themselves with makeup?
The only time I wear full face makeup is when I am in my home and I don't plan on going out anywhere, there is nothing wrong with wearing it inside you own home for your hubs. Otherwise if I go out, I dont wear it at all.
MashaAllah Tabarakallah you are naturally beautiful, some of us as south asians have dark eye circles and uneven skin tone that makes us look old and dead! So we have no choice some of us and have to turn to make up just to look normal, sadly. X
I'm a Muslim 14 years old Iranian girl, I do my prayers every day and I love islam. And I dress modestly! I cover my arms my belly and my legs and even my neck! But I don't cover my hair often I only cover it sometimes. I also don't do make up often. Is it ok that I don't cover my hair often?
I really enjoyed watching this video!! We need more content like this for our Muslim sisters! I’ve been searching for some advice on how to give up makeup so it won’t stop me from prayer! It’s hard making wudu with makeup! May Allah forgive us Allah!
Im surprised that u really went 100% free without makeup, I’d give myself some leeway and wear makeup indoors in the presence of mahrams but whatever works right? U definitely look ur best without it. For me, I’m a crazy fanatic for makeup because i like how it looks on me and not cuz im insecure of what’s underneath cuz i was consistent with my skincare but i think as soon as I hit my 20s i had a few forehead pimps and i get fingers pointed at me for it and it just makes me concerned about it a little bit im working on the issue with skincare so Alhumdulillah im doing alot better. My primary reason is simply to fulfill the modesty standards of religion but i find it a bit difficult to do.
I'm a revert from Sweden. After 3 years I still can't give up makeup 100%. I have acne so I wear makeup sometimes when I want to cover up my acne. I don't wear heavy makeup anymore, I wear very light and natural makeup. BB cream and some lipgloss with a little blush and natural eyelash extensions. But even light makeup I don't use often. I maybe wear it once in 2 months. I wish one day I will reach the goal of not wearing anything at all. Very good video. 👍🤲
You are adorable Veronica! I hope to go makeup free soon one day too. Except a dash of lipstick. Sorry i just cannot resist it. Basically i don't like doing heavy makeup like foundation, concealer and mascara and eyeliner. I want to keep it simple and glowing. I have hormonal acne and i don't know who to go to. Dermatologists i have visited give prescribe very strong medications which aren't good for my body. Still in search of a good one. I have very less good days for my skin but many bad days for my skin. My acne doesn't just make me self conscious it hurts me physically.
I completely understand your point of view, however as someone with severe and intensive scarring on my face and hands, this would be entirely too challenging for me. I wasn't born with my scars and so they are not the 'natural way' God made me, they are a result of a horrific accident that affects my life in so many ways. I have learned to accept over time that this is God's will and one of my 'tests' in life and I simply have to deal with it, and one tiny little thing that makes such a huge impact on my life is makeup. It genuinely allows me to live a somewhat normal life (although no amount of makeup could ever remove or entirely cover my scars, and even with makeup on I still get strangers all the time stop me and ask what happened to my skin). For this reason I really don't leave my house without makeup on. It gives me confidence, it makes me happy, and feel beautiful and 'normal' and it's also a way for me to cope with what I've been tested with. I would love to hear any advice you have, thank you

Answering a question with a question is no answer at all. Nowhere in the Bible does Jesus tell anyone not to wear any makeup. I knew the answer before I asked the question but I wanted to see how you backed up your statement. If you are going to claim Jesus said something, you had better be able to easily back it up. Congratulations on being a busy mom. Just a tip: you would have more time and be less busy if you didn't spend time on RUclips 👍 Edit: There is a HUGE difference between personal revelation and something that is stated clearly in the Bible. Just because Jesus supposedly told YOU to do (or not do) something has ZERO to do with how others should live their lives.

I hv bad dark circles. I cover my eyes. If not, pple ask me abt it 😢

Can you help me please? If I do wear makeup, does it have to be washed off before every prayer? Going per invalidates the Wudu*, correct?
Yes you have to wash it off before making wudu or it won’t be valid
God wants us to give up ALL of our sins, give up makeup all of the time, repent in Jesus name Amen!
Is a long-term makeup makes damage the skin ?
makeup is a sin just embrace how God made you.
If God wanted us to wear makeup he would have given it to Eve in the Garden of Eden
So is it okay just to put a colored moisture, just like my lips colour?
It is a personal decision 🌻
No the overwhelming majority if not all the scholars said that makeup is impermissible.
