I think we don’t give Regina King enough credit. From the movie Ray to the Boondocks & now directing her own movie. She’s a Legend.
Even Some Of Her Roles Early In Her Career..She Was In “Boyz N The Hood”, “Poetic Justice”, And “Friday”!🙌🏾💯....
Sister Knight!!!!
Boyz N the Hood, Watchmen (2019), If Beale Street Could Talk; she won big for that last one
That’s cuz we blacks don’t celebrate our own enough, but then get man when white or mainstream culture doesn’t support us. Well, we’re not them. It’s up to us to support us. We’re all we need.
In this new movie ( One night in Miami), she made Ali and Malcolm X look like idiots! She put Sam Cooke and Jim Brown in a position of being the smart ones in the room!!
Please give Jim Brown his flowers while he can smell them! Living legend!!!
For sure.
Major love 2 the triple og matter fact all of them didn’t know much of Sam Cooke other a couple songs but I go a whole new found respect all these Ogs!!
Yesss!!!
@@Bill_Sawyer true indeed
I work in Hollywood, he's a wife beater.
RIP Malcolm X (May 19, 1925 - February 21, 1965), aged 39
RIP Sam Cooke (January 22, 1931 - December 11, 1964), aged 33
RIP Jim Brown (February 17, 1936 - May 18, 2023), aged 87
RIP Muhammad Ali (January 17, 1942 - June 3, 2016), aged 74
You will be remembered as legends.
Saw the film by Ms. King. Impressive.
I'm on a spree of watching interviews on all of them!
Great movie just amazing

As Hell
Just saw the movie very impressive much respect to Regina King
Had to come here after hearing of his passing RIP Jim Brown
At the end of the movie you see jim brown in a military uniform on a movie set telling Cleveland he's retiring. He was in the middle of shooting the movie The Dirty Dozen.
Yep
Yep. Nasty NFL told Jim, to come home and play or else.....he said, I aint done yet..be babk when its over, or not at all ....he was too much for the racist mindset of American society. He was off the chain....never went back. Their loss....Paul brown was trying to reject Jim ,when Jimmy got off the bus....he said, Jim isn't big enough...
Paul Brown was a successful racist, and highly biased, small minded at times...so were past presidents, slave owners..the coaching staff told Paul, you better wait...try him first..Jim was not Marion Motley, HE WAS JIM BROWN.
Art Modell was going to fine Jim for every practice and game he missed because the filming schedule had been prolonged due to bad weather in England
That was epic
@@rogerringold616 ...That's Ohio for you....some things never change. Remember Marge Shott?
Jim brown, Sam Cooke, Muhammad Ali, Malcolm X. Now these legends will have conversation again in person, rest in peace Jim🫡 you’ve earned it
In spirit you mean?
Thank you Jim Brown for all your hard work continue too RIP
REST IN POWER Jim Brown Blessings and Hugs 💖💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕!

Just finished the movie lol
Same here lol

Four legendary American Icons who don't get enough credit for what they did for this great country. Rest In Peace Malcolm X, Sam Cooke and Muhammad Ali.
Not enough credit?
@@lwmson you’d be surprised how many people (especially my age) don’t know who Sam Cooke or Jim Brown are. Most know Ali and a few know Malcolm
@@Inktownicon Wow, that's sad, especially the ignorance of Malcolm, because if you have never headr his speeches, chances are you won't be proud of being Black.
@@lwmson I’m very proud to be black 😂 and Malcolm helped us a lot
Hank Aaron just passed. We still got Jim Brown, Willie Mays, Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson & Kareem who is the youngest at 73 years old.
Hank Aaron did that to himself taking that vaccime.
SOMEONE FORGOT TO MENTION THE HAMMER. FRED WILLIAMSON, ROSEY GRIER, LOU GOSSETT JR, JOHN AMOS, ROGER E MOSLEY, SIDNEY POITIER, HARRY BELAFONTE, EACH ONE IS OVER 80YEARS OLD. THE TWO OLDEST IS HARRY BELAFONTE AND SIDNEY POITIER. THEY ARE BOTH 94 YEARS OLD. THE YOUNGEST ONE ON THE LIST IS JOHN AMOS. WAIT I LEFT OUT JAMES EARL JONES, MORGAN FREEMAN, GEORG STANFORD BROWN.. RIGHT NOW I CAN'T THINK OF ANYONE ELSE..THAT'S IT, NO HOLD UP THERE IS ONE MORE JOHNNY BROWN..OKAY NOW I'M DONE..
If you watch the recent A&E series about Playboy and Hugh Hefner,
Jim Brown was also a scumbag and a horribly violent sexual predator.
It's hard to watch without being sickened.
Brown was an even bigger scumbag than Bill Cosby.

Talk about a legendary group.
Sad that he’s the only one left of that legendary group. Please preserve this man!
When I see Jim Brown. I see a man of self pride, integrity and conviction. He never compromised his love for his people and country. He's one of my favorite hero's during and after the civil rights struggle.
Regina , girl you are beautiful!
Ain't aged a day
Just pure LEGENDS 💪💯🔥👑🤞
😭 I cried like a baby.
Wonderful film...we need more of films of this nature for accurate historic reference...What wonderful leaders these men were...brave, beautiful, intelligent and strong!
The movie was fiction
Difficult seeing Jim at this stage in his life but thankful he`s still with us
I absolutely loved this movie! One of best in a while. Really surprised that it's not getting all of the attention it deserves...........
One big reason is due to COVID-19 impact on movies. Still Amazon Prime frontpage features it and I am sure it will get greater push in February
It's actually getting nominated for a bunch of awards.
Agree with you. Sometimes the talky movies get lost in the mix, but I do think this will get the attention it deserves. Feel free to peak in at my review on my channel
Jim is a legend! We need to give him his praise now!
@@the44118 he has the right to support and vote for whoever he wants to. Mr. Brown has been known to always help the black community.
It was a beautiful movie. My wife, kids and I watched it 6 times so far.
This man is the EPITOME of Living Legend. Black History still standing! ✊🏾
I just finished watching One Night In Miami and it’s only of a few movies or shows that’s made me cry
That movie brought back memories my father told me this story and the movie was on point in my opinion this movie should have won an oscar.
Jim brown being old seems unreal 🙏🏾
Only Father Time and Christ Jesus are undefeated...
It is a great film and I admire Mr. Brown.
A great great film congratulations Regina King from 227 til now what a impressive career. Applause Applause Applause.
That amazing movie brought me here ❤️ Great Job Ms. King ‼️
Jim Brown was and still is the Rock.
My sports hero growing up was the greatest of all time Muhammad Ali. Jim.Brown one of the greatest football players of all time. Malcolm X all i can say is wow! The people didn't understand how smart and spot on this man was about the world. And Sam Cooke one of the most soulful singers of ever and gone to soon. I haven't watched the movie yet I will be watching it tonight. But I have followed the careers and research them for years. I going to say before I even watch thank you to the beautiful Regina King and congratulations to her directing this.
The 60’s was black at its finest.
So true!
70s
So supportive Muslim/Christians
Before my great grandma passed, I use to love to just listen to her talk about the "good ole day".. and to see the pride on her face when she talked about it was something I will remember forever!!
Yes. But it still wasnt enough....look what happened next and Continually until now. They showed up in the 60s, and worked hard. RESPECTFUL.
I loved it. I was angered and enlightened while sometimes smiling with a sense of pride as I watched this movie.
Four LEGENDS. Need I say more
We love you brothers
Loved this.. I hold all those guys close to my heart💓💯🤞👑
😭 I cried during the movie.
Rest In Peace Jim Brown.
I've watched the movie 5 times already... probably will watch it 50 times more
Can't begin to articulate the respect and admiration i have for all four of those individuals. There are no words.
I love that Jim Brown what's happening
Difficult and Beautiful seeing Jim Brown at this stage of his life
Excellent story!! Kudos
These brothers were so important to the cause. Jim Brown was a strong figure amongst back people. Quite fearless in his convictions. Great job Regina King!
The greatest football player ever
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Love the movie⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had a dream last night, in it, I was with Jim Brown... it was very real - & when I woke up - this video link was in my phone sent to me by my son - Love Jim Brown -always have- my whole life
They need to make a movie about Jim Brown
Watched Spike Lee's Malcolm X again last night...check it out again..still so very relevant!
Just to think, decades later to have his own people turn on him and “cancel” him because he wasn’t scared to go look the devil in his eyes and have a conversation on what was needed for his people. Still great man in my book Mr. Brown.
People forget that not even a few decades ago, Jim Brown helped warring LA gangs come to a truce. He did not have to do any of that.
If you watch the recent A&E series about Playboy and Hugh Hefner,
Jim Brown was also a scumbag and a horribly violent sexual predator.

One Night in Miami!
I’ve had many nights in Miami
So nice to see this after One Night in Miami! 😍😍😍♥
Yo Jim you know your the best we Love You in Saint Simons Georgia .....
I'm guilty lol, but I just saw this morning early this morning, although this movie was released last year. I am impressed and intrigued to learn of the actual facts of what happened in real life--as it is depicted in this film. From a Disabled Navy Veteran, such as myself, who lived in South Central Los Angeles, it amazes me to see Mrs. Regina King go from Boyz In The Hood to the beautiful and successful director she es now! The mannerisms of Mr. Ali, Mr. Sam Cooke, and Mr. Malcolm X were spot on! I didn't even know Mr. Ali called himself Cassius X! Let alone, I didn't know Mr. Brown starred in other movies. I forgot Mr. X spoke to Mr. Ali about the Nation of Islam. I didn't know Mr. Cooke's "Seen Me" song. Mad dope stuff I learned from this film!
I love learning about Black History so I can teach my future kids. The "Change Gonna Come" scene really hit home. God bless the people of Palestine! From COVID deaths, police brutalities, and war, I still wonder, as of May, 2021, when change will come?! When will Jesus come?! It's about ✌ and 💘! I can only pray. Much love to Mr. Jim Brown! Mad dope that he is still alive today! Overall, dope 4ss and life teaching movie!
This night had so much to do with my loving Jim Brown and all of them!!!
Love you brother Jim ❤️
O.G. The Original Gangster!!!
Jim Brown my favourite UFC commentator ever
The movie was completely stellar, I was watching the movie thinking man it would've been legendary if she got the brother who played Malcolm in Godfather of Harlem.
Best video to ever come from the Cleveland Browns channel
just saw a night in Miami loved it 😍
R.i.p jim brown
Awesome film hands down.. much respect 🙌
It's good to know that all 4 of them actually met in one room. S/one made a Utube vid saying it was a fictional meeting. Am glad to know their meeting wasn't fictional. Awesome movie.
And we still waiting for that " change to come." Damm shame.
You got the change when Obama became President and you still got excuses.
@@gopherstate777 Obama inherited a crappy economy , turned it around , and got zero appreciation. Republicans gave all the credit to that lazy Trump. America is as racist as ever. Too many Whites will bend over backwards to see the worst in Black people.
@@KB-sv7fm
You make it sound as if the bulk of whom voted for Obama weren't white.
@@gopherstate777 How in the hell is elected one half white man(who did nothing for Black people btw,) supposed to signify some kind of change in this society?
@@gopherstate777 yo white cream mushroom sauce stfu. And why are you even on a video that’s related to BLACK KINGS AND QUEENS. F YOU
Jim Brown- The country in 1964 was...embarrassing
2021- ....STILL embarrassing
Embarrassing...but like the rise of labor unions ...u go from necessity to excess and beyond fairness and even disingenuous stances...truth will eventually prevail if a society is open and free...the closing of the American and cancel culture threatens that
Well it is when your black and hanging with Trump! Orange Hitler
You say that like nothing’s changed, but white Racism is pretty close to done. The only major problems left is police discretion with the poor, which is still way better than back then.
It’s only a certain level of embarrassing because the media makes money by fanning the flames of controversy. You want it to be less embarrassing? Tune out, care about something else, and the media will follow suite by leaving how it all “looks” alone.
@@jlupus8804 Close to done?? SUREEEE! Jan 6 didn't show "close to done"!

The last one left of the crew. JB the legend
This video should have a trillion views. Jim Brown was a Maverick in the struggle for equality, this brotha kept going in his effort to unite black folks wherever he found them separated. Peace to you Mr Brown!! 🤲🏽

This movie is a must see, very informative and well acted by the cast.
Very informative???? It’s a made up story. You obviously don’t know history that well!!!
GOD BLESS KING 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I liked everything about this story.
But when that lady at the Copa Cabana said she prefers Debbie Renalds version of Tammy over Sam Cooke's, it pretty much set the tune for how much people dis liked us,
Even using a simple measure as a song.
May God bless, our brother Jim Brown.
02-01-2021 I watched the movie "One Night in Miami"... awesome...
Regina King did a fantastic job with this film. I wasn't expecting the acting to be so gripping. I'm proud to call Mr. Jim Brown of our own. Go Browns!
That was the point of the movie!! Jim and Sam were great, but Ali and Malcoln X ?
@@am.b5688 what about them they were great as well
@@layla2892 Educate people about Jim and Sam. Make a movie about them without taking down Ali and Malcolm!
@@am.b5688 I get what you mean but I think they were just being human people fight, people are indecisive, but they come together at the end. I think this movie showed a real side to both of them for me at least. This movie showed me that Malcolm really cared about his people no matter the cost and sadly that costed him his life because people were scared of an uprising.
Very great movie
Im sure they would be proud to see the progress of black music, athletes and fathers their are in america. What great progress their has been. Just look at the stats and facts. Amazing.
