He was off the chain....never went back. Their loss....Paul brown was trying to reject Jim ,when Jimmy got off the bus....he said, Jim isn't big enough...
Paul Brown was a successful racist, and highly biased, small minded at times...so were past presidents, slave owners..the coaching staff told Paul, you better wait...try him first..Jim was not Marion Motley, HE WAS JIM BROWN.

I'm guilty lol, but I just saw this morning early this morning, although this movie was released last year. I am impressed and intrigued to learn of the actual facts of what happened in real life--as it is depicted in this film. From a Disabled Navy Veteran, such as myself, who lived in South Central Los Angeles, it amazes me to see Mrs. Regina King go from Boyz In The Hood to the beautiful and successful director she es now! The mannerisms of Mr. Ali, Mr. Sam Cooke, and Mr. Malcolm X were spot on! I didn't even know Mr. Ali called himself Cassius X! Let alone, I didn't know Mr. Brown starred in other movies. I forgot Mr. X spoke to Mr. Ali about the Nation of Islam. I didn't know Mr. Cooke's "Seen Me" song. Mad dope stuff I learned from this film!
I love learning about Black History so I can teach my future kids. The "Change Gonna Come" scene really hit home. God bless the people of Palestine! From COVID deaths, police brutalities, and war, I still wonder, as of May, 2021, when change will come?! When will Jesus come?! It's about ✌ and 💘! I can only pray. Much love to Mr. Jim Brown! Mad dope that he is still alive today! Overall, dope 4ss and life teaching movie!

I liked everything about this story.
But when that lady at the Copa Cabana said she prefers Debbie Renalds version of Tammy over Sam Cooke's, it pretty much set the tune for how much people dis liked us,
Even using a simple measure as a song.
May God bless, our brother Jim Brown.

@@am.b5688 I get what you mean but I think they were just being human people fight, people are indecisive, but they come together at the end. I think this movie showed a real side to both of them for me at least. This movie showed me that Malcolm really cared about his people no matter the cost and sadly that costed him his life because people were scared of an uprising.

If you watch the recent A&E series about Playboy and Hugh Hefner,
Jim Brown was also a scumbag and a horribly violent sexual predator.
It's hard to watch without being sickened.
Brown was an even bigger scumbag than Bill Cosby.
