That last shot of her flying through space was lit.l...All I wanted to see.
This whole Captain Marvel vs Aquaman debate is so stupid. Why must it be a choice? I'm just thankful to be living in a time when all these adaptations are coming out. Besides, they release 3 months apart so I can just see both of them.

Raulito Mares Sadly a lot of people are getting ridiculous anymore. They have already made up their minds and they haven't even seen it yet. Which is ridiculous, they are going off of a total of about 3 minutes of footage with both trailers combined. Attacking the actress' acting without seeing the full story. Isn't it a possibility that her character is the way she is because of the brainwashing? We haven't heard any lines from her from her past life which is probably her true personality.

This trailer worked better for me than the first one. Not sure if the writing is gonna land for me based on this trailer, but I’m optimistic.

After seeing her super Saiyan hair, I’m now ready for a good Dragon Ball Movie.
The “knock down and get right back up” is probably why the Kree selected her.
And that last shot is likely her getting the page from Fury to come to Earth.

Celia H. I'm so looking forward to seeing this movie. It'll be awesome watching her beat the crap outa Thanos, and show people that a woman (despite common belief) can be stronger than a man! I love the fact that she will be the strongest, it just shows how strong women really are!
Killing Thanos isn't hard, Thor and Iron Man could of done it, the question is whether she can hold up to all infinity stones at once.

This trailer was garbage, lines were cliche and her delivery aweful - why did you not react to the steller and amazing aquaman trailer.

For those who complain about this movie, make a favor to yourself and dont go to the theaters to watch this movie.
No, go see it for yourselves to see if your initial opinions of the trailer match the final edit of the film. I dislike all of the DC movie trailers post Dark Knight Rises and I hate a lot of the DC movies, not all of them though. Suicide squad was worse than the trailers. Justice League was meh, but better than what the trailers showed. Wonder Woman had a lot more of Diana's personality than what the trailers shown.

It seems to me that maybe the Skrull were targeting Carol and that's why her plane is crashed. This would be unusual since Annette Bening's character says the Kree were the ones that made her into one of them. If that was true, why would Carol be bleeding blue after the crash, which I believe takes place before her arrival on the Kree homeworld.
I am thinking that Carol is a hybrid and that either her mom or dad were a Kree warrior, maybe even Mar-Vell is her dad? The Skrull's discover this and target her cause she is a danger but she is rescued by the Kree who then take her to the Kree homeworld and wipe her memory so that she can become a warrior and fight the Skrulls.
While the TV and Movie execs at Marvel might not get along, Agents of SHEILD has already established that the Kree were trying to weaponize Humans because of their potential. Star Lord showed that a Human hybrid could manage the power of an Infinity Gem. It kind of already plays into the history that has been established that a Human/Alien hybrid would be able to channel cosmic level power and this would be the motivation for the Skrull's initially trying to kill her and the Kree wanting to wipe her memories to keep her as a weapon in their war.
Not only that, in the flashback in Season 3, the Kree Reapers seem to creating Hive in almost the exact same way by infusing him with their mutagenic Kree blood and DNA.
In the comics, carol is born a human, but infused with kree DNA, Mar-Vell was her mentor (also who she received the DNA from). In the comics she loses memory due to a disease that meant if she used her powers she would lose her memory, and before that she had her run in with rogue of the X-men who avosrbed her memories and stripped her of any emotional connection to them, she still retained them at that point, and during her 200's solo run she died and due to some reality manipulation, ended up as a woman named catherine donovan, while the kree part of her manifested as her superhero persona, she ended up back with her memories
Her human parents most likely think she is dead.
Carol has been through the wringer so many times, and mental manipulation is a common theme for her, she even had a bit of a mental breakdown and depression (enough to go on superhero stints while drunk, and of all people, tony stark; a raging alcoholic before he straightened hinself out, sponsored her in trying to sort herself out)
Bit of a tangent, but jist for more context about why carol is the way she is, as you said, she is msot likely brainwashed, as the kree aren't exactly something I would describe as noble; warriors most definitely.
Mar-Vell could be descrived as noble, but not the species as a whole, given that the kree have done sone shady shit in the comics and in cartoon adaptations.

I'm digging the feel of these trailers. Almost like a reverse of CA: FA, where we're going to start with a character with a huge amount of power, who then learns her biggest strength comes from the time before she had powers.

Hector, do you think the 8-year mistake in spiderman is actually not a mistake and is related to a time travel story in avengers 4? Coz spiderman 2 is coming just after it and Marvel doesn't make that kinda mistakes when it comes to story.... maybe spiderman 1 is set in the modified timeline after avengers 4 and follow up to civil war is slightly diff and infinity war never happened...

I admit I thought it was an average trailer....until that last part in space though. That's awesome and different and I'm going to see THAT!
I actually like the fact that she is showing no emotion. Carol has no memory of who she was and was also with the Kree for a while. They probably taught her to show no emotion thus the reason she only smiled once maybe twice in this trailer. I think that as the movie progresses we will actually see some emotion lol. Carol in the comics was even like this

My guess is, She crashlands on earth along with a bunch of Skrulls. goes out hunting for them when she gets aproached by shield. due to her time on earth she sees certaing things triggering flashbacks, giving her and the audience her past. All the while trying to stop the Skrull incursion.
Oh and Fury loses his eye either to a skrull, or the cat.

I believe it can. I've heard some movie reviewer say that for another movie, something in the lines of; they can use blood if it's not a realistic color. For example, you can use shots of black blood

This is has been the best reaction video for this trailer.
Brie Larson’s honestly a really charismatic person after seeing her in lots of different interviews, so hopefully she can bring that into this role. It’s pretty hard to fully embody a likable character right away, I mean it took Thor three tries to get it right. Unfortunately for Brie, Marvel Studios is pushing out nothing but hits, so she’s gotta get it right on her first go around. I’m just hoping the audio is taken out of context, for example, maybe the quote “I’m not gonna fight your war, I’m going to end it” is supposed to sound corny, and is followed by laughter of people around a brainwashed Danvers saying “what the hell are you talking about.” If this is not the case however, I’m slightly worried.
I remember people complaining about Michael B Jordan's delivery in the Black Panther trailers.
Now he's remembered as one of the best comic book movie villains.

this is kinda why I hate the hype over trailers. We've seen countless examples of a trailer not being indicative of what the movie is going to be like but people still spend so much time and energy obsessing over them. All the people that are "bored" or "underwhelmed" should think back to Suicide Squad's trailers and rethink whether or not they're really gonna let these 2 minute clips of a 2 hour movie affect their opinions.
Andy Johnson These trailers are doing a poor job of selling the movie. It happens, but Brie Larson’s line delivery isn’t very good where she sounds bored which can be judged. Look at Jennifer Lawrence in the Apocalypse trailers.

I think we’re unlikely to get a drastically different hairstyle in A4, for the sole reason that Larson’s hair doesn’t seem to have been cut recently. More likely for Captain Marvel 2.
