Idk if you want to know, but that cat is actually Carol Danver's (Captain Marvel) cat. In the comics it's name is Chewy because Carol is a die hard star Wars fan, but in this it's name is goose? Not 100% sure, but that is her cat, and that'll make a lot of comic fans very happy

Hank Pym's Ant Man with SHIELD in the MCU ended in the 80s (after supposedly several years of work). This is set in the 90s.
Mark 9:51. Hmm. I didn't see a, "drop kick". I've understood that term to mean the same as, "punt", because you hold the football up enough to drop it and then kick it before it touches the field. 🤔 At least, that's how, Punting, was explained to me.
But maybe, others use, "drop kick", to mean that the very act of kicking, "dropped" a person to the floor, et al?
Then again, in Taekwondo, it means that we raise a foot above someone, and then drop it down with the force of a kick. 🥋.

MCU is using Monica Rambeau's origin story for this movie. Carol Danvers story are the flashbacks. I grew up reading Monica Rambeau story but I will watch this movie because I am a Marvel fan. Besides it's part of a larger story.

Ronin is Radical Kree. He doesn’t hate them necessarily, he hates that they made a peace treaty with the Xandarians who they have been at war with. He was trying to destroy Xandar.

Is it just me or is the mic audio too low?
I have mixed feelings about this trailer. I enjoyed the story aspects and the power set they displayed but I'm still unsure about Larson playing this character, he facial expression and tones seem robotic to me.
Time will tell and hopefully I am proven wrong once the movie comes out.
The Guvnor honestly I think these scenes are early on in the characters development in the movie while she is in kree mode. I have noticed that a lot of other kree characters act the same way as her both in the trailers and in other movies ronin in gotg for example his facial expressions are precisely the same throughout the movie and his tone of voice stays the same apart from the volume of his voice. Perhaps it is a kree thing to be like robots so that their emotions don't interfere with their performance in combat. Like you say we can only decide when the movie comes out.
She doesn't have human superhero personality because she thinks she is a kree. She will flow better when she embraces humanity. Come on dude
The Guvnor I hear the exclusive footage showcased at comic con were amazing. People say her acting is great and that the trailers don’t do her justice. I also hear that she’s extremely funny and charismatic. People have actually compared her to star lord
People used to hate when trailers told the whole story. Now people complain when trailers DON'T tell the story. You are getting little snippets taken out of context. Any good story is going to have character development. She has to have somewhere to go emotionally! The purpose of trailers is to intrigue the viewer and create buzz. There are so many complaints re Brie Larson's boring, emotionless delivery, but she is an Academy Award winner, so she can act. I imagine when she discovers or remembers what actually happened to her, it will be emotionally devastating. We all have questions so we'll go to the movie to find out the answers. That's what a trailer is supposed to do. At least you are giving the movie and Larson a chance, unlike so many people who are hating on it and her w/o ever having seen them!
Really makin sure you know her is a hero aren’t they. We get it. She is a female lead role. Let’s just leave out the spotlight on that and enjoy her as captain marvel

I hate to give it away. You can screen shot this if you like. She will start out chasing a space ship which ends up being a Skrull ship. She gets injured and the Skrulls capture’s her. The Cree attack there base take her from them. They ease her memory of the whole event. The mixture of her blood with Cree does something unexpected and make her Super strong. That’s the Key to the whole thing is Why? Why would her blood reaction that way? Because her father was a Cree spy who fell in love with her mother which his Marvell. Bang!
They had DeConnick as a consultant during shooting so I'm not sure about the father thing (given her CM run, I mean). Hell, I don't even know IF Mar-vell is going to be in the movie! Maybe he is but up 'til Carol crashes and You-Know-Who kills him (after his DNA somehow mixes with Carol's). My theory with this trailer is that EVERY CRASH-RELATED footage we've seen is a LIE - or at least the false memories that the Kree have implanted in Carol. The blood thing is deceiving and they want us to theorize and all, but if you look closely... the blue bits during the entire crash footage match the blue in the room where she is with, who I assume is, Supreme Intelligence. That way they can be like "we saved your life and you shall forever be grateful" and she won't ever question their motives.
Verónica Ramos I agree with the Supreme Intelligence which we hasn’t seen yet. I also believe the Cree has been lying to her on why she’s hunting these Skrulls. This happens after they fuse her blood with Cree. She will continue and continue to get stronger and stronger.

Fam Marvel is setting up the Skrull’s Secret Invasion arc for Phase IV which will culminate in Avergers V, they got to be, just like you said I think at the end of Captain Marvel they are going to subtly allude that one (or more) of the main character of the MCU is a Skrull in hiding

She had Binary mode long before Dragonball Z ever existed.
Her original powers were permanently stolen by Rogue of the X-Men. She eventually gained new superpowers and became the hero known as Binary. Binary proved to be OP, so the Marvel writers hit her with the nerf bat. Now Binary mode is something she enters only when she's absorbed a lot of energy from incoming attacks against her.
Imagine if Marvel Studios actually bought dragon ball from Toryama & made a really good live action movie with those visual effects or some similar, holy shit I actually think it would be freaking awesome!

I don't know much about Captain Marvel, I will admit that. One thing I know about her is that Rogue from the X-men, touched Captain Marvel at some point in her life, sucked all of the strength and powers from Captain Marvel, given Rogue the powers that we know her to have like super strength and flight and it left Captain marvel in a coma for the rest of her life. If you watched the X-men cartoon back in the 1990's, you may remember that episode, I sure did.
I remember that episode. Mystique manipulated Rogue into sucking her powers. But I wonder why Rogue didn't get her binary powers. Only the flight and super strength
well Rogue absorbs her powers when she was Ms Marvel. she was not that powerful then, later some other alien race experiment on her making her Binary and then she starts absorbing powers from starts and becomes Captain Marvel.

Somebody just explained to me, that episode back in the 90's, she was actually Ms. Marvel at the time, not Captain Marvel yet. After Rogue put her in that coma, another alien race experimented on her, making her Binary and then eventually becomes Captain Marvel. I'm sure the Marvel movie universe isn't going to go into that kind of back story, but I'm sure it will be good anyway..

Great job, guys. Subbed. A lot of people are dissing this trailer for no reason (IMHO). I, for one, trust Marvel to deliver another great (possibly excellent) movie. They have earned the benefit of the doubt. I hope this doesn't turn into a misogynistic debate (akin to the Last Jedi) because there's nothing wrong with a female lead in a movie like this. Stay positive, guys.
The first trailer was boring, the second trailer was boring, the main character looks boring, the story looks generically boring. Thats why people dislike the trailer.

I wish I could be gassed for this movie! I really do! Growing up with Captain Marvel as my favorite super hero and reading all the comics and watching the throwback 1941 black and white Capatin Marvel Adventures on repeat, this trailer is a little tough to take lol. The main character and super hero is not Billy Batson lol... We will see, I'll be open minded about it lol. Great trailer reaction as always TCN Fam! Keep doing ya thang!

Here's my theory: Carol Danvers was a US pilot fighter, she was known to be the best amongst her piers. one day there was some invasion that maybe involved the Kree and the Skrulls that took place somewhere in earth (most probably US coz, yeah). She and other fighters went up there to fight both side, got rekt accept for her, but nevertheless she too falls. So the Kree saw that "She good, we could do better with her.." and kidnap/modify her arse. *inhales Kool-Aid*

All I care about is that this is Ms. Marvel, the same Ms. Marvel that Rogue (the TRUE Rogue, not that bootleg Rogue in the previous X-Men movies) get her superhuman strength and flying abilities from. So, since the MCU is having the X-Men join the storyline, this new ROgue better drain Ms. Marvel powers.

I discovered you when I was looking for reactions to the first Godzilla trailer. I enjoy your reactions. I was disappointed with this one b/c the audio of the movie was so loud compared to your voices that I couldn't hear what you guys were saying while watching the film, even with replaying sections several times. Would you guys please lower the volume of the trailer audio in future vids? Can't wait for Captain Marvel and for Godzilla: KotM!

Skrull tried to invade Earth. Naturally the US sent the Air Force to check out the Alien ships and she was shot down, almost died but was saved by the Kree when they infused her with Kree Powers, becoming Captain Marvel.

Joe ! Listen. I know we all have many questions and very little-to-none answers, lol. *This is a long post:*
*1.* You were wondering about how old Carol is, well: This movie takes place in 1995/6 but when she returns to Earth she's been in space for YEARS/maybe a couple decades and she still looks like she's in her late 20s/early 30s. She was born most likely mid-70s and became an Air Force pilot in the mid 80s ("Top Gun" premiered in 1986 and since she named her cat "Goose"...). *To put it simple: She's around Tony's age BUT just like Steve, her age slows down.*
*2.* I wonder if RHODEY will be yet another connection of hers RE: life on Earth on Avengers 4 besides Maria (primarily), Fury and Coulson. He was an Air Force pilot and is around the same age.
*3.* No special reason as to WHY they choose her. She crashes while chasing Skrull and Kree UFOs and happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Maybe Mar-Vell is there, maybe he's not, but her powers will STILL come from the explosion (and if Mar-Vell is there, his DNA will mix with hers). The Kree that crashes most likely sees that she's an enhanced human because of the incident, and takes her in (to use her, of course. Not because he cares about her).
*4.* They'd ruin the movie if they showed what's going on with the Kree/SKrull war tbh.
*5.* Ronan has always been a Kree.
*6.* WHICH Avenger(s) do you think will be a Skrull? I'm hella afraid 'cause I don't want it to be Steve. Maybe Barton, or Nat.

The guys they're fighting, (and who are the bad guys in the movie) are the Skrulls.
Carol Danvers....IN THIS MOVIE,.....is Half-Kree Half-human. (not in the comics. In the comics she's a full human who get's some Kree DNA after an accident that melds her DNA with Mar-Vell's and that's what gives her her powers)
In this movie she gets her power when the Kree activate her abilities using her Kree DNA.
This movie is set in 1994-1995, so it's *_after_* Hank Pym's time as Ant-Man since the start of the _Ant-Man_ movie shows him stepping down in 1989, after finding out that S.H.I.E.L.D. was trying to replicate the particles.
And yup, this isn't the last of the Skrulls. Imagine the end of Avengers 4, the heroes all win, and the post-credits is someone, who we've seen for multiple movies now, reveal themselves to be a Skrull. mad ting

Looking back at the MCU thus far and I am thinking about who could be possible skrulls . Thunderbolt Ross comes to mind, as well as Sharon Carter, Hawkeye, Widow, and Banner.

In Agents of Shield, humans couldn’t figure out how to add Kree blood to us without badness. Guess the Kree know what they’re doing. I don’t know the comics, but, I’m guessing they all can’t do what Carol does, right? I mean, there aren’t a million Cap Marvels?

If Captain Marvel was found in that crash, why does she have a blue nosebleed? That transfusion looks like it takes place in a different setting like a hospital. Is this a different scene? Or like Joe said, is there more to her?

I think Carol is half Kree (bleeding blue blood from her nose '2:46') that's why she can survive the blood transfusion.

Skrulls and the Kree are enemies of one another .. the Skrulls wanna take over everything and take over earth reasons they go there to be other ppl .. this is in the comics like Secret Invasion avengers and other comics like Kree vs Skrulls comics (skrull invasion ) .. now i dont think Cap Marvel had memory loss in the comics i think its just added to the mcu storyline

Hank Pym was Ant Man during one of the wars and he lost his wife the original wasp during a cold war mission, so he was around before Captain Marvel in this movie because she comes in the blockbuster generation.
