Tony started everything. He has a great character arc too. He slowly became a piece of shit but you see in infinity war that it was because of ptsd and everything. He was just waiting for the right moment. He had ptsd for years because of the attack on new york. He's one of my favourites.
Don’t forget that Valkyrie, Korg and Miek are still out there somewhere. The Russo’s said they made it off of the Asgardian Vessel alive. My guess is that Captain Marvel hears Tony’s message and picks him up on the way to Earth but it’s also possible he could be saved by Valkyrie and crew.
That ending. Everyone just sitting there, staring straight ahead. It's like your bodies don't know how to feel about the movie.

I am just as gassed as Joe here. The possibilities of time travel - traveling to the past to plant something for the future, etc. I’ve always said this is gonna be the INTERSTELLAR of MCU films. And time travel - remember Janet van Dyne said before Scott went in to the QR, she said “try not to get stuck in a time vortex”. That’s our in to time travel. Whatever it is...
And also, remember in ANT-MAN 1, Scott got out of the QR using a regulator. I’m not concerned about how he’ll get outta this..
At the end of Ant Man 2 Janet told Scott “don’t get stuck in any time vortexes” before he went to the quantum realm. So people think that’s how Scott got out and that’s how the Avengers will go back in time!

Don’t forget that Antman, in the original Antman, was able to come back from the quantum realm at the end of the movie. That’s what got Hank to theorize that he could bring back is wife in part 2.

My theory. They are going to use the gauntlet mould from the place Thor got his hammer to make a new gauntlet and us the quantum realm to travel back to collect the stones for the new gauntlet. Click them back into existence

The plan is more than likely to go after Tony. That scene looks like its early in the movie plus we've on set photos of Stark with grey hair. But Stark has to be the key to fixing everything done because if we're being honest the MCU has always been Iron Mans universe and if he is going out he will more than likely go out saving the world. Also also Hawkeye is no longer Hawkeye. In the comics he becomes Ronin after a devastating event. For the movie thats probably losing his entire family. So he will have a score to settle with Thanos also

Yep. It's months later and Scott just got out. That's why he just now turned up in the van when everyone thought he was dead. Time vortex shot him forward in time and he jumped in the van and went straight to their door. Considering he's apparent good humor I'd assume he has no idea what's happened.

Personally I think Scott will be pulled into a time vortex and end up in the past, at the exact moment that the snap happens or a little bit in the future. I'm assuming Captain Marvel will be the one to discover Tony and Nebula in outer space or Pepper will find them in her RESCUE suit, which has been confirmed for the film. Lastly, I don't believe that Shuri's dead. They're probably just taking a headcount of the individuals that they couldn't establish a line of communication with; Scott is labeled as missing but we, the audience, know exactly where he is and know that he isn't dead. They just couldn't communicate with him. She and Queen Ramonda are royalty so I wouldn't be surprised if they are being hidden away for their safety. A 5 year time leap has already been confirmed, so I also wouldn't be surprised if we see her emerge as the new Black Panther at some point in the movie. Sorry for the essay, but yeah.

I’m here 3 years after the film been released and this is still one of the best trailers I’ve ever witnessed they give you just enough without giving too much away and that music that comes on after Tony’s speech wow!!
The quantum realm is a doorway to alternate dimensions so I think they’re going back in time to save an alternate dimension. Fury contacted Capt Marvel who gets her powers from the quantum realm so her appearance in Avengers 4 might be her in that universe, not the universe that Fury actually contacted her in. This might sync up to why Capt Marvel takes place in the 90s because it makes no sense why Fury wouldn’t contact her the minute a huge alien ship shows up in the sky at the beginning of Infinity War if she is that strong. Fury said in Avengers 1 that they began their Shield endeavours when a grudge match between space aliens from Asgard levelled a town. I’m pretty sure that took place way after the 90s where judging from the Capt Marvel trailer, Fury knew about space alien wars and Skrulls invading Earth
Captain marvel will be flying back to earth that's how Tony is going to be saved. But the quantum realm is the key to reversing the snap.
Also captain marvels power has nothing to do with the quantum realm. It's awakened after the krees ship exploded then they enhance her power's on the kree home world via a blood transfusion 👍
Captain Marvel's powers don't come from the Quantum Realm lol. Also, my guess is that Captain Marvel new that 'the Snap' was going to happen, because Doctor Strange went back in time and told her. So she probably tells Fury only to contact her if people start disappearing/turning into dust. This would explain why Fury doesn't contact her when the Chitauri arrive, or when the Outriders/Black Order arrive.
What is the plan??!! Well.... 🐜 mans return is also relevant because he has the van with him which has the quantum realm machine which they can use to go into a time vortex which is what they plan to do when he is looking at the locket with Peggy's picture in it. They probably go back to that time period because look at Caps uniform..now from here on hmmm???? But that's the beauty of cinema. Figuring it out together and listening to each other's theories.

I'm pretty sure the directors confirmed that they will travel back to 1945. I don't know when or where in 1945, but I'm pretty sure it's the same year in which Captain America: The First Avenger takes place.
Antman was able to get out of the quantum verse by himself, by following his daughter's voice. He also helped get The Wasp's mother back(she came back with super powers).
Man everyone keeps forgetting Scott had his suit on while in the quantum realm. Like in the first Ant Man, he can get out with the suit plus this was the upgraded suit, given to him by Pym.

The van wouldn't travel with him, the facility was just a warehouse back then, no HD cameras + Scott Lang wouldn't leave a recording in 1983 saying "I'm Scott Lang, Ant-Man. We met in Germany a few years ago."

They use the Quantum Realm to travel back in time. Remember Janet Van Dyne tells Scott to watch out for time vortexes before he enters? Well they are probably gonna use that. My prediction is that Scott goes into a time vortex accidentally and either goes forward or backward in time. He then formulates some sort of plan and then travels back to the present and seeks out Cap for help (which is seen in the trailer).
Feels like forever since we've seen Tony and cap have a scene together we need this
