I travel a lot and pick two colours from my wardrobe to wear. Usually black or white and then another colour with that. It could be red, pink, green, blue. It means everything matches and you get to wear your wardrobe.
Me too! My personal faves are navy and beige/gold together. Gold accessories. Navy looks amazing on everyone and can be worn any season. Paired with beige/gold there is no worry about white getting dirty. A combo of these with b&w would work too. Love capsule neutrals.

Congrats on your first international trip! A lot of times the wheel make a backpack/roller combo to heavy, most people don't like it. We just owned it and rolled around all the stairs and cobblestone for how easy it was through the airport and ferry terminals. I'd recommend rolling with your heart condition because it's a lot easier to take a break outside in the elements (heat) with a roller.... sometimes I even sit on mine! haha

Great video- I’m a nightmare for overpacking! We’re currently travelling through Scotland on the NC500 for our honeymoon- we’ve had to pack for all weather types which I find makes packing even more stressful. If you have any tips on packing for varied weather, that would be amazing!
that's a dream trip for me. Agree with Martina - layers. I like the heat tech shirts from Uniqlo. Light, fast drying, pack down small, cheap and warm, but also easily layered. For Scotland - especially if you want to do some walking - a raincoat with hood and waterproof shoes are a great place to start. I stay away from rain boots because they're heavy and not very comfy. But there's some hiking shoes that look like sneakers but are also water resistant. If you can splurge on some merino wool items, they're great at minimizing odor (so more uses between washes), they are lightly water repellant and even when wet can keep in warmth.

Sounds like a great trip! To save yourself at security, it is best to separate out your liquids from the rest of your toiletries. Toss them into the 3-1-1 bag then put that into your personal item to be able to grab quickly when in line!

How do you deal with white clothing getting discolored by sunscreen? I‘ve stopped wearing white on beach’s vacations because all my clothing would be discolored yellowish by the sunscreen.
Oh I hear you! I’m so fair-skinned I’ll usually apply sunscreen everywhere before I’m dressed and walk around in my towel for a bit. My bigger issue is keeping my food throughout the day off 😂😂

In my opinion it's at least better than nothing, but some are better than others - mesh ones are almost 100% aesthetic because it's usually too hot to even be comfortable AND it's not protecting you from the sun. I like silky/satin the best for lightweight + coverage.
For guys: x=amount of days youre staying X tshirts and boxers a pair of shorts and a pair of really thin long pants swimwear flip flops a toothbrush and toothpaste a beach towel sunglasses (optional but recommended) a hat (optional) mask/snorkle/beach ball (optional) and of course, your wallet and phone
I’m going to Chania & Athens and I was told the Greece airport is very strict. I was told in my carry on to put all my items in a quart size bag instead of that 3-1-1 plastic bag you have. I have that 3-1-1 and I’m very scared. Did you have an issue with your liquids bag not being in an actual ziplock bag?
Be sure that the bag that you are using is 1 liter large, clear, and plastic. This is the general rule of thumb while traveling with liquids in Europe! We have not had an issue with is being in a clear plastic bag over a ziplock bag.
The straps on the top bag help the toiletry bag keep its structure if the other bags are loaded up heavy. It keeps the top bag from turning into a sad looking oval when hanging on the hook :)
If you're coming from North America make sure you have an electric adapter. There are some available that include both plug adaptor AND USB charging ports all in one!
These are the type of lightweight, chic clothes that I pack. You looked so elegantly effortless - until the ripped jeans and graphic tee. If we wear classic pieces not trendy, we can look back on photos from decades ago and feel proud they could still be worn today rather than embarrassed. Think Princess Catherine not Instagram Basic. Just my tip...

this is huge af carry on, try doind it in ryan air free luggage. I will be impressed. There is no problem to fit in what you have for 2 weeks :P

Luckily not! With just a basic adaptor we haven’t had any issues, including our computers and camera gear
